People deluded I'm back again. Thank you very much for tuning back in now. Allegedly courtesy
of the Daily Mail, Gabriel was close to signing a new deal. David Ornstein's provided a transfer
update and there's plenty of other rumours for us to get into and go through. As usual,
big up yourselves, people. Smash the like button. Let me not waste any more time of
yours because I respect your time, people. It's a currency we all have to spend and let's
get straight into it now. First off, as I just said, big Gabriel is apparently going
to sign a new deal, which, you know, he's formed a formidable duo with Saliba. Trio
if you include the Declan Rice, you sprinkle that with us improving collectively, defensively
and, you know, he's doing well. I think Gabriel is one of the most important signings Mikel
Arteta has made so far. Him and Odegaard have gone from strength to strength and in line
with the numerous players we've seen sign new deals, it makes sense that one of our
best performers and for me, a potential player of the season for Arsenal contender, you know,
gets a new deal or improved terms. Arsenal hold positive contract talks with Gabriel
as they look to reward the defender with fresh terms for playing a key role in the title
charge. It takes me back to August when he was out of the team. Now, I have no information,
but I genuinely believe his head might have been turned with interest from elsewhere.
But Arsenal have opened preliminary talks with Gabriel over the improved contract following
his excellent performances in the heart of Mikel Arteta's this season. I think it means
Arsenal. The Brazil international has emerged as one of the leaders of the Gunners title
charge. He only signed a new contract in October of 2022, but the club have moved to reward
him with fresh terms at 26 years of age with two years left on his deal. We do have some
wiggle room to get a move done, but you know, you don't want to see one of the best performing
centre-halves, one of the key members of our team with his contract going into the, you
know, going into the last 18 months of his deal. And it shows that Arsenal have been
moving competent in the last 18 months, two years, Martinelli, Saliba, Gabriel now, Odegaard.
It didn't work out, but Ramsdale, Tomiasu, Benjamin White, they've all signed improved
terms. You'd imagine at some point in the next few weeks and months, Mikel Arteta, who
was contracted until 2025, signs new terms if he hasn't already. And at 26 years of age,
he's a leader of what Arsenal are doing. He's in his peak. It makes sense. You know, not
everyone's going to stay forever, but if you tie him down to an important contract and
an offer comes, then we're in a stronger negotiating position. Apparently the 26-year-old,
as stated, has two years left on his contract. So there's no urgency to bring a swift resolution
to talks with the player remaining fully focused on the team's charge of title climax.
I mean, the level of English is poor, but initial discussions have been described as
positive and will continue in the coming weeks. There was some doubt over Gabriel Magalhães'
future at Arsenal at the start of the season after starting the campaign on the peripheral
of the first team amid interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League people. But since
the summer transfer window closed, the centre-back has become a regular in the team, forming
one half of a formidable central defensive partnership alongside William Saliba.
The Gunners have successfully renewed the contract of a host of their key players in
recent months, Saliba, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Ben White and Tommy Assu, among those who have
signed new deals. So, yeah, that's what, you know, they're key players. Whether they're
starting or not, they form part of the nucleus for Arsenal. If we look at what Dave Ornstein
has been speaking about people, he was asked the question, is there a link, a genuine link
between Alexander Ryzak and also a Lyse people with Arsenal? Ornstein replied, neither of
those are names I have heard figure prominently in Arsenal's thinking, but it's still early.
The window isn't even open yet. So it's not easy to say much. Definitely. We've
talked loads about a central striker, but as John Cross in the Daily Mirror first reported,
the impact of Havertz up top may influence Arsenal's decision, especially if Jesus also
stays. I mean, is Jesus filled in offers? Who knows? But I think we need a striker.
I want the best of both worlds. Kai Havertz, you can fill in where you can and you've shown
you're a key player. Gabriel Jesus, you know, you can be part of the squad, but I do think
we need a striker. If we get a goal scorer in Wiedemann, then obviously that probably
impacts Martinelli, but I'd be prepared to be fine with that. But I would love central
midfielder or two as a minimum. I think that's one area we have to address and get right and
have some real long-term options with Declan Rice there, which Jorginho and party quality
players they don't provide. I think it's well known that, you know, Trossart's doing
his thing, Martinelli and Saka are two of our big dogs, but we could do with reinforcements
out wide and maybe a striker. I don't know if we've got money to stretch. I don't know
if we sign a striker. We say Jesus can play out wide. I don't know if kind of going on
Kai Havertz's influence or growing importance means we don't look up front, but unless Kai
Havertz wakes up and he is finding his goal scorer in touch and did against his former
team, would have had a hat-trick if he scored in the first 30 seconds. Unless he wakes up
and we're seeing a Robin Van Persie region genuinely, and he's getting 20-odd league
goals, then I think we need a forward. Ornstein also said midfield is a key area of focus.
If Declan Rice is going to be a number six, you'd assume they recruit a number eight.
If Rice is going to be a number eight, you'd assume they recruit a number six. Departures
in both positions will play a part, obviously Jorginho and Partey. The long-term conversation
around depth in wide positions will continue. Whether someone comes in or not, we'll have to
wait and see. Left-back is also an area that could see bolstered, and with Tomi Asu can play
in a bunch of roles, sign a new deal. Timba basically back and we'll see the best of him
next season. We have consistently seen left-back links, and I wonder what's going on there. How
does that impact Kirill, who is a centre-half but has been playing at left-back? We know
Tierney and Tavares days are numbered. Not that Tierney's in the same calibre as Tavares. He's
actually a good player. And Zinchenko's got two years left on his deal, and it seems like
there's radio silence. So could he be someone that's seen as, you know, thank you for the
memories? Safe. I don't know people. Scrolling all the way down, again, Big Up United and
Liverpool fans who watch my channel, but that's irrelevant to us. He was then asked in relation
to Jorginho potentially signing a new deal, or asked for insight. He said, I'd expect one of
Partey and Jorginho to leave this summer. Perhaps that might be Partey because he could raise some
money. Are we really going to see 25 million asking price met by potential other clubs where
he could run down his deal and leave for free? I don't know. He does turn 31 in June, and again,
we need long-term options. I did cover Partey more specifically in a previous vid, so check
that out. And ironically, at the time of making this video, which will probably come out later,
I've done a video weighing up the pros and cons of Thomas Partey, people. So go and check that out.
And also don't forget to comment and let me know your thoughts. But I don't want to say that with
certainty, because when Partey plays, we know how important he is. We also don't know what
Jorginho will decide to do himself given his contract is expiring. Arsenal would love to
keep him, but this is one of the many areas that need to be resolved. Has he spoken about
Arsenal again? Didn't really say anything broad. He spoke broadly on Isak, I guess. He spoke about
Jorginho, but we didn't learn much there. He also said that there is going to be major
recruitments at youth level. We've heard that several times. At senior level, I do think
they're in a phase of the journey where you're bringing in players to deliver now. If Arsenal
can continue to up their revenues, then they'll be among the clubs that will have significant
resources to spend. I'd be excited if I was an Arsenal fan were it to Josh Kroenke. That was a
follow-up from when he said Arsenal's recruitment there will obviously be focused on the youth
academy. There's going to be some investment to try and bring in better quality players at a
younger age and really compete with rivals, which would be great because I think our 21s need some
models. It seems like the players who are in and around are going to seek pastures new to advance
their careers. Someone like Martin, the striker, probably for me could accelerate under 18s level
and play for the 21s, but you need a bit more depth and just general quality. You have seen
that with some of the links. Arsenal and City have been made aware that Newcastle will listen
to offers in excess of £80m for Gomarez this summer. I don't think we're going to get him.
For what it's worth, PSG have apparently entered in talks in an attempt to beat City
and Arsenal to the Newcastle midfielder. PSG have reportedly held talks with his reps after
entering the race to sign him. The likes of City, Arsenal, Real Madrid are all believed to be
interested in the Brazilian, who has a release clause in the region of 100 million people.
Their chief executive did say they may need to sell in order to comply with profit and
sustainability rules. PSG are looking to steal the march on in people. He's obviously played
in France before. Would love him at the carpet, just think he's far too expensive for Arsenal to
explore. For what it's worth, Romano has said his release clause will become valid from the
last week of May, beginning to the last week of June. Apparently, the 100 million is only
valid for a month. So, Newcastle might play a bit of games in that regards. And I'd imagine,
naturally from a business position, just because he's a quality player doesn't mean everybody wants
to pay 100 million. So, we'll have to see what's going on with the Brazilian there.
Zoubamedie, a man that's been linked with Arsenal and Bayern Munich, primarily has said,
I'm happy at Real Sociedad, it's my home. I can't say I'll be here for the rest of my career,
because maybe in the future, Real Sociedad won't want me to continue here. I'm not bothered about
those rumours, he's told Spanish reports. Again, I love Alise and Eze, and they're getting better
and better. And the new Crystal Palace manager's got Palace bopping and playing ball. Palace will
only entertain offers for Eze and Alise this summer that are 60 million or more. In the present day,
you could say that's probably overpriced. But in the present day, I think that's about fair value
for them, if I'm honest with you people. We've heard Gomares is open to joining Arsenal and
working with Mikel Arteta. And obviously, we're looking to be a team that achieves stuff. We've
gone over that before. I won't bore you lot people. Apparently, Arsenal, PSG and City have
received confirmation that Gomares' future is out of Newcastle's hands. I mean, he signed a new deal
recently. Only FFP could pull it out of their hands, or if he forces a move. But I don't think
that's true. Arsenal have been linked with a move for Brazilian winger Estavio Willian,
the 17-year-old who played at the recent Under-17s tournament, which we did watch-alongs
for. He's one of the new-age Brazilians. He's got a wonderful left foot, very good football.
I've been linked with Barcelona since the age he was 15. It makes sense that Arsenal and Chelsea
are looking at him. He's contracted until 2026, and they want big money. I don't think Arsenal
will pay that. Chelsea haven't been scared of flexing their muscle. But as you saw with our
5-0 demolition of them, you can have your Enzo Fernandez, you can have your Cole Palmer,
who runs away after getting a cold, you can have Kai Seedorf, you can have the Ukrainian Mudrik.
Money can't buy class. Money can't buy a competent football team. Or it can,
but you're doing things wrong. You can have the most expensive tools in the toolbox.
If you haven't done a certain apprenticeship as an electrician or a plumber, you're not really
going to be good at that. But we've been linked with him before. We're still linked with him
again. Obviously, Edu's got the Brazilian links. We'd love that, if I'm honest, but it'll cost a
lot. Arsenal face competition to land Javier Guerrero, who plays for Valencia, and done
quite well, people, the young Valencia midfielder. Apparently, we're looking at him as our Manchester
United, Spurs, Real Madrid and Barcelona. He has a release clause of 100 million euros,
but Valencia expect to earn somewhere in the region of 50 to 60 million euros for him, people.
So yeah, he's decent, man. Can play as a six, can play as an eight. As you'd expect of a Spanish
midfielder, blessed technically. We've gone over this before, but Joshua Zersky is a concrete
target for Arsenal. Contacts have taken place with his entourage and an offer could be sent
for the Dutchman. Man United have been monitoring Girona left-back Miguel Gutierrez closely as they
contemplate a summer bid. Arsenal and West Ham are also interested. So that's consistent with what
Ornstein said about us potentially looking at a left-back. There's no way I could say his name
with the greatest of respect, but if Barcelona are interested in signing KK from Napoli,
should we get in there? Because you'd imagine a striker, a left winger to go with Saka,
and not to this, the other options, keep them, takes us to the next level. Real Madrid boy growing
up, don't know if Madrid will move for him. It's going to cost a lot of money, but who knows,
people. Alphonso Davies' potential move to Real Madrid could be off. So him being a left-back,
and it could be scary with him and Martinelli, or him and Jesus, or him and a new left-back,
left winger, or him and Trosser. It could be crazy, really. Is that something we could explore?
I don't know. Let me know your thoughts. Would any of you take Marcus Rashford? His future is
in doubt. You would have seen him tweet as well that he's not really happy with the criticism.
You know, many people will say the fact that he can play as a left winger could be an attraction.
He is considered damaged goods, and Mikel Arteta has shown that he can show players that have
fallen by the wayside a bit, Odegaard to a degree, Kai Havertz to a degree, and show them a bit of
love and get them playing 300 bags a week. Though not that I care how much he gets paid, but it'd
be far too much money mashing up our way structure for a player that obviously has a lot of raw
ingredients but is nowhere near where he was projected to be, and there's too many unanswered
questions. In theory, I wouldn't be against Rashford, but let's stay clear. We have been linked
with Fufana at Monaco. A lot of you, including myself, would love him at the carpet. Apparently,
we're monitoring his situation. He has just one year left on his contract at Monaco, and he's
doing well of late. Arteta has said Timba could make the squad for the North London derby. He said
we're going to have to make that decision tomorrow. So let's take time, but I'm happy to see Timba
back, and it is happy days. Apparently, he said, I don't know if the North London derby is going to
come a bit too close, but he's very close. And then he said, I understand that in brackets winning
the league at Tottenham is not going to happen mathematically, even if we do win. There are
moments that are very important in our history, and I'm sure a lot of players know about it,
certainly the staff and the ones who have been here long enough. It's about making our own
history now. Hopefully, that starts in the North London derby and what remains of our season
against Everton, against Bournemouth. For me, again, the season could be made or broken,
any game really and truly. But I will really, really start assuming the same talking points
continue. If we get something at Old Trafford, and when I say something, we need 12 from 12.
You know, yes, there's a reality where you could drop points and do all of these things,
but we win every game. Easier said than done, we win the league. The Old Trafford,
North London derby, you don't know what's going to happen. Of course, it makes me nervous. Everton,
what they did with Liverpool makes me nervous. It wouldn't be so far-fetched to suggest we beat
Man Utd, beat Everton, beat Spurs and mess it up against Bournemouth, who are doing quite well.
We've got one of the leading goalscorers, Solanke, who has once upon a time been linked to us.
But this is the scenario we want it to be in. Pressure is a privilege. Pressure either bursts
these pipes or it makes diamonds. So, it's down to our players and the manager to deem what they
want as a reality. So, yes, people, let me know your thoughts on everything we've discussed.
Some of the things we've gone over, I've done individual videos on them. I'm sure you would
have seen things flying on the screen, so make sure you check them out. The end page is going
to have other links of mine for you to get your DG fix. As usual, appreciative to you lot tuned in.
