Back to my channel. You'll have to forgive me for the fact that I'm still in my pyjamas. It is actually about quarter to eight in the morning. It's not too late in the day. But yeah, I'm having a mega big filming day at home today. Filming lots of content for Instagram, for TikTok, YouTube as well. So what that usually means when I'm filming my fashion content is I end up getting changed. This is no exaggeration. It can be like 30 times a day. So when I'm having big filming days like today, I don't tend to put on an outfit for the day, so to speak, because I'm literally going to be getting changed over and over again. So yeah, I've just got my jobs done in my PJs this morning, which was very nice. And now I'm going to head upstairs and start filming for the day. Oh my God, can we just take a moment as well to talk about how wild female hormones are? Because, oh my gosh, in that last vlog I uploaded, like, I'm not going to lie, guys, I was ready to put myself in the bin. I was just so sluggish and just not myself. That time of the month really got me in that last video. When I was looking over the footage, I was like, God, I could see it in me. I was just not me. Yet this morning, I've woke up, the sun is shining, I'm feeling great, I'm feeling happy, I'm ready to be productive. I feel like a new woman. But it's just wild, isn't it? As women, our hormones being all over the place, how much of an effect it can have on us. Like, it's just, it's a lot. It's mad. Like, the difference in how I feel getting up today compared to the last video is just wild. And the annoying thing is I'm going to have to go through that again next month. I don't know what it is. I feel like as I'm getting older, it's almost getting worse. Like, I don't really want this to be a period chat, but I remember when I was younger, I would have a lot more, I'd say my physical symptoms were like worse. Now it's definitely more mental as I get older. And I can feel my just brain, my brain just tells me to hibernate. And it's like, well, I can't do that. I've got stuff to do. And it's trying to bargain with myself over those just it's just one or two days. Yeah, feeling so much better today feeling much more like myself, especially in this glorious sunshine that we're having now. And we're not forecast any rain for the next few days, which is brilliant. But yeah, for now, I need to crack on and start my outfit one of probably 30, 40 of the day and yeah, have a good productive day. Good morning from me and a rather bouffante hairstyle today. I'd give it a fresh, not a fresh blow dry, but I washed it and did my kind of faux blow dry with my straighteners. But the volume is voluming today. I'm not usually one for voluminous hair. My hair is a bit limp, but it's doing it's doing well today. It's got the memo. But anyway, I am all dressed and ready. As you can see, I'm on my way to the train station because I'm heading down to London today. I'm heading to the launch event for Swede and Liddy Millen. She has bought out a collection of lipsticks and lip liners for the spring summer season. So I'm going to head down and check them out, see what it's about. But yeah, I would have showed you my outfit before I left. However, it was a little bit of a rush this morning. I stupidly hadn't decided what I was going to wear. And usually that is my big no-no. I like to lay my outfits out and no. So this morning I was a bit like, ah, but I actually really like my outfit today. I've gone for a Karen Millen waistcoat. I've gone for all the kind of nudey khaki tones. So Karen Millen waistcoat. This blazer is a couple of years old. I'm pretty sure it was from Zara. I love the kind of muted, kind of muddy brownie green colour. And then I've got a cream satin slip skirt, a maxi skirt from Kukai. I'll try and show you a full look when I'm there. But for now I need to catch my train and head on down to London. I think the weather's going to be nice as well. Finally. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to hear me, but I have tried to come over and steal a little quiet spot in the corner. We're actually in the basement of Space NK and I had no idea this room even existed. It's so beautiful the way they've done it in here. It's really, really lovely. Anyway, I have arrived. I may have already had a little nibble to eat. These brownies, they're like raspberry and white chocolate brownies. Oh my gosh. One of the best brownies I've ever had. I've had a little bit of smoke, so I'm going to have a little glass of these. I'm going to go and find myself a seat somewhere and then, yeah, I'm going to learn a little bit more about the exhibition. Delighted today to have. We also have vitamin B5 in our mascaras, so they are very nourishing and some lipbalms are in this league of industries that grow after they've used our mascaras. Gosh, I'm nervous. Give me a minute. I know that the world did not need more lipsticks, but I wanted to create something that was kind of like a mini edit. I genuinely believe that there is a colour or a combination between these four products that we're seeing through every season. I just don't want that anymore. I just want a small thing. We used to have in the early days drawers and drawers of beauty products, and now I just want one drawer of things that I know work and I've got confidence in. I just hope you guys like it though. Hello, guys. I am back home. It was such a lovely day, honestly. So, so lovely. Loveliest people. I also have to give a little mention. I know this wasn't what the event was about, but oh my gosh, the food. It's always a good day when the event has really good food. Oh, the food. They had these little brownies. I definitely vlogged them. The brownies, they were like, they look like regular brownies, but they had white chocolate in them and raspberries. Raspberry and white chocolate is one of my favourite combinations. Oh my gosh. And they were just gooey. But anyway, I'm going to get over my love affair that I was having with the brownies back to the main event. Yeah, honestly, everybody there was just so warm and welcoming. It was so lovely to learn more, even just learn more about Suede as a brand. I've shown Suede on my channel before, as I'm a big fan of the Suede mascara. They have two. They have one called Cloud, which I have very kindly been given in my little gift bag to try, and I've never tried that one. So I'm excited to try that. And I think it's called their Uplift mascara. Already a fan of that. So I wasn't any stranger to Suede, but as mentioned, Lydia has bought out her own edit with the brand called the Eternal Bloom. I just thought I'd quickly show you the products. Now that I'm not around everyone, I can actually chit chat to the camera a little bit. I just thought I'd show you a little bit more up close and personal what the products actually are. So the edit consists of four products. We've got two lip liners and two lipsticks. So I thought I'd start off with the lip liners. I am actually wearing this lip liner. When I got home, I have redone my lips so that I can show you and give you actually a proper first impression of how it feels. So we have this slightly lighter shade, which is Rose Petal. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous pink shade. A really gorgeous rosy pink. I have in fact swatched them on my wrist. Please ignore the scratches on my wrists and things. Just at the yard this morning, I managed to scratch the hell out of my wrist trying to get something out of Flickr's box from a stable. Honestly, what a hands look a little bit battered. That is why I'll try and cover them up. There we go. So as you can see, the shade on this side is the lighter shade, Rose Petal. Oh God, look at this scratch. It's just taken my fake tan off. Wow, this is very flattering. And then the shade next to it is Rose Thorn. Slightly deeper, nuder shade. So on my lips, I felt instantly drawn to Rose Thorn. Maybe it was the name, a bit spiky, I don't know. But this looks like my kind of everyday shade that I would be drawn to. I like to have a deeper lip line colour. Especially on me, I feel like the, you know, tanned blonde hair, I don't want my lips to get lost on my face, so I do like to have a good lip line. So I have popped this on. The lighter shade, as you've seen, slightly pinker. I think such a beautiful spring summer, especially for the spring summer. I feel like I'd be more drawn to wear this all year round as my everyday go to. But spring, summer, a little bit of a lighter pink shade, I'd be more drawn to Rose Petal. So they are the lip liners. Moving on to the two lipsticks. So we have two lipsticks. We have Wild Rose and Hollyhock. Now, again, my instant kind of, instant one I was drawn to was Wild Rose. Big shock. It's a nude. We all know I love the nudes. Now, one thing that I did really love about this was the actual texture of it. It's not a dry, matte, cakey lipstick that's going to give you those really annoying lip lines. It's almost like a lipstick and maybe even a gloss had a baby. It's a lot more balmy. It's very soft. Feels just like velvet on my skin. It feels very comfortable. I can rub my lips together. I feel like I could eat and drink. I'm not worried that half my lipstick's going to wipe off. So Wild Rose. I'll do a little swatch underneath this. It's honestly the perfect, I'd say it's got a little bit of a peachy pink undertone nude. It's beautiful. Excuse me, my scratched up wrist again as I scooch on in here. So that is Wild Rose. So, so beautiful. And then the next shade is Hollyhock. This to me just screams spring summer holiday. It's absolutely gorgeous. It's got more of an injection, I'd say, of a coral red nude. It's not in your face. As I said, it's more balmy. So you're not going to get that matte colour. It's a lot more subtle. But there you go. You can see that injection. Gorgeous coral red there. How stunning would that be with a gorgeous white dress on holiday in the sunshine sipping a glass of rose? Oh, a girl can dream as I look out my window and it's pretty miserable. But I think the collection is gorgeous. On my lips at the moment, I'm wearing Rose Thorn and Wild Rose. So that is these two products. This side, so this is what they look like if I scooch on in here. There you go. You can see it's like the perfect, for me, this is my everyday lip combo. This is how I want my lips to look every day. They're not like leaning too far on the pink side, not too far on the brown side. They've nailed it. But yes, the collection is just beautiful. And in my little gift bag, as I mentioned, I was kindly gifted a few of the other products to try. I think I've got their foundation, which I've never tried. And I think I got one of their blushes. I heard a lot of people really raving about the Swede blushes, which I've never tried. So looking forward to trying that. But I thought maybe I'll try the other products in another video. These are the New Look Hannah jeans. I have got these in three different colours. I've got them in this, the blue which I wear all the time and like a dark grey slash black. I just love the fit of the Hannah jeans. They're like the perfect straight leg. They do kind of taper in slightly at the ankle, which I just feel makes them really flattering. I feel like they don't just cut me off at the leg like I feel like some straight leg jeans do. Yeah, I just, I really, really love these. I would say they are top of my list. If you are going to try something from New Look, the jeans would be like one of my top recommendations because I just, I reach for these all the time, like all the time. Even the belt, which I'm going to show you. Look how cute this is. Tan belt. You've got the horse bit detail here. Looks so much more expensive than it is. New Look, this belt is less than 20 quid. Like it's so, and it just goes to show, when you buy classic looking pieces, it doesn't matter where they're from. They will always, always look timeless. And then this shirt, gorgeous for the spring summer. It's a really gorgeous, almost like cheesecloth linen. Really nice and thin without being see-through, as you can see. This will be so great for a warm day. Right now, it's not, I'd say it's not warm, but we're getting there. We're getting there. However, I just love this. Obviously, it's the classic blue and white stripe. This is a definite me kind of outfit in the spring. I'd probably pop, if it was really cold, maybe a light jacket or a blazer over the top. But yeah, and it's all New Look. I will obviously link everything that I'm showing you down below. I'm going to try and find my blue hammer jeans because as I said, I wear them all the time. I hope they're not in the wash. I don't think they are. I'm going to find them because I have to show you these jeans in blue. But yeah, so I just wanted to show you these pieces. I found the jeans in blue. May or may not have pulled them out of the wash basket, but who's going to know? So yes, these are the exact same jeans in blue. You have definitely seen me wear these probably a fair few times now, but again, exactly the same as the white. I love the shape. I love this shade of blue. I believe they do them in another shade of blue, a slightly lighter shade, but I feel like this is the perfect mid wash, almost vintage looking kind of denim that is just super, super classic. It's never going to look dated. Sometimes I find with a bleach wash denim, I feel like they're slightly more, that they can sometimes look dated, whereas I feel like a mid wash like this, it's always going to look in style. They're just so classic. I've just teamed it with a navy blue waistcoat, also from New Look. The shoes, these gorgeous little flat slingbacks, also from New Look. The belt, also from New Look. Would you guess how, just how affordable this outfit is? I feel like, I mean, obviously I'm teaming it now with my Fendi peekaboo, but you can see how all of the pieces just go together. They don't look out of place. I just feel like you can pick up some really, really great things with New Look. I've got a couple of other bits. I've actually got so much to show you, but I'm not going to cram it all into this video. I'll show you another couple of pieces. They're my favorites as well. Okay. I know it's not cool to say that clothes are cool, but this is like the ultimate cool girl trench coat, in my opinion. It's the perfect shade. It goes with both warm tones, cool tones. I absolutely adore. I've never actually wore this trench coat with this outfit before, like over a navy look. I feel like it's the perfect color to go with navy. I'm just going to pull the sleeves up. There we go. But yeah, I'm sure most of you have probably got your trench coat sorted. I know we're now moving into, I mean, actually I'd like to say we're moving into warmer spring, summer. However, if you live in the UK, I feel like a trench coat is pretty much essential all year round. So I just wanted to show you this one because it's super affordable. Where's the pocket? There we go. And this is great work wear, casual wear, just a great trench coat. Is this or is this not just the perfect day dress for in the summer? Just absolute classic white linen. This is again, very, very me when it comes to the summertime. I've mentioned before, I'm not the most, I'd say I'm not the most feminine of dresses. I feel like a lot of my summer wardrobe leans more towards more neutral, more perhaps tailored. I'd say I'm not perhaps the floaty dress kind of girl, but dresses like this, very simple, high neck. This is me. This is my comfort zone with dresses. Absolutely love this. The bag, also from New Look. I was going to show you this earlier and I completely forgot, but how good, how good is this for the summer? So good. Goes with all of your tan shoes, tan sunglasses, just a really good affordable bag. Could also double up maybe as a beach bag. I think the great thing is when a bag is affordable and not only does it look good, when it's affordable, you don't have to, I don't know how to word this. You don't have to feel so precious about it. Like I'm just going to compare it, right? Well, I mean, I know these bags are very different, but like my Fendi, I mean, this is like a go-to bag for me. I absolutely love it. However, because, you know, I invested in this and it wasn't cheap, I'm very precious about it. I'm not going to put it on the floor anywhere. I'm not going to take it to the beach. I'm very cautious when I'm eating and drinking around it, not to spill anything on it. And yeah, I'm just extremely careful. Whereas when a bag is a little bit more affordable, robust, you can afford to kind of just relax with it a little bit. I hope you've understood what I've said when I mean that. I don't mean because it's affordable, I'm going to lob it across the room, drop kick it into my dinner. Do you know what I mean? But just, it's nice being able to just relax when I've got this bag compared to that. I'm sure you get the I do actually have another dress that I'm going to quickly show you. Come on, are we really going to be shocked that I'm showing you a shirt dress because literally the only style of long dresses that I seem to wear, but I love them. And of course, New Look have some absolute bangers on their website. So this is like one of my favorites. I know it's super simple black. I love wearing black in the summer. Anyone that says black isn't a summer color. So old fashioned. I think as long as you get the fabric right, black is so, it's so chic in the summer. I absolutely love it. But yeah, this kind of, I'd say it's midaxi, it's not quite maxi, I'd say it's longer than a midi, but this is just great. I've added the tan belt from earlier that I showed you because I feel like black and tan together, it's one of my combinations. But yeah, I just love this really just easy breezy, great dress for throwing on to run errands. You could dress this up and maybe go to a friend's barbecue. I love black in the summer as well, because again, you don't have to be precious, you don't have to worry. Now don't get me wrong, I love a white dress, a white linen dress as I've just shown you, I absolutely love. However, black is just a little bit more practical. I don't know if you want to get out in the garden, eat food in the garden, errands to run, black is just a little bit more wearable. You're not going to see any marks or bits of dirt on it. And yeah, I just find black really great to throw on. But yeah, I just had to show you this dress because as I said, it's one of my favourites. And it's actually one that I'm going to be going off and shooting later today. So that's exciting. There's so many more bits I could show you. I was going to show you this one. I also have this blue and white shirt dress as well, but I didn't want to overkill it with all the shirt dresses. Because I'm a bit of a creature of habit, even though I've only just in the last 12 months become really comfortable and found my groove with what dresses I feel more comfortable in. Yeah, I didn't want the whole show and tell to be shirt dresses. But this is another one from New Look, the blue and white pinstripe dress. Again, absolutely classic. Very warm. Very warm. What was the temperature there? 32. Like 28, 32. Well, we've been having torrential rain and wind. Yeah, I was only there for two days. Three days? No. You were there for three nights? Yeah, yeah. But two days because I came back on a Monday. Yeah, Monday evening, I'd say. Yeah, but I left at midday. Two and a half days. This is such riveting conversation. I'm sure nobody cares if you were there for two or three days. I'm classing it, you were away for three days. Okay, three days. Because I class it for when you leave the house. Three days. So you were away for three days. Yeah, two half days. He's just trying to brag guys that he got this unreal tan in just two days. That's why he's saying two days. He's come back looking like David Dickinson. But anyway, we have just popped out of the house because I need to shoot a photo to announce my new ambassadorship with New Look, which is very exciting. However, the outfit that I need to shoot pretty much says spring summer. It's the black daytime dress that I have already shown you. It's that dress. However, the weather is not saying spring summer vibes and I have delayed and delayed and delayed shooting this because one, we've not had the weather. Two, Andy's not been here to help me shoot it. And then I've been at events and it's just been a bit of a struggle trying to juggle everything. So today it's intermittent sun mixed in with rain. So we're going to have to try. We're going to try. But yeah, me in my waterproof coat is the current mood. I don't know if you can hear the rain. It's currently raining, but it's really weird. It's like you can see the sun is out. We'll see.
