RIDING IN FRANCE // KTM 1290 Super Adventure S // Best Motorcycle Roads

We spent last night at the Côte de Machine, a hotel right behind me. It's actually the gateway to the Comte de Laval. Balcony Road, one of my favorite balcony roads in France. This is the view to the right hand side where we started off this morning. You can see the clouds coming off the mountains. It's the Comte de Laval and the Côte de Machine. Well, maybe next time we'll do that. Or not. So, the Adache Canyon. First time I was here was two years ago in 2017. It's really scenic. The drive is nice, but also the viewpoints. You can turn off every two minutes and check out the great, amazing view. So, we just did that. There's a million more to come. We're not going to stop at every point. It's also a nice drive. A nice curvy drive. Nice pavement, too. Adache Canyon So, I'm going to take you around the Adache Canyon. And then we'll go around where that rock art is. That's on the west end of it. So, we should be heading up to another balcony road. I'm not quite sure when we get there. But there's a balcony road up there. I can see it from here. It looks like that's where we're going. So, right up there is the next balcony road. This is it. Yeah, just like I said. You turn a corner and it looks like this. It doesn't look like you're in the mountains anymore. You're just in the middle of grassland. That's so weird. There's quite a few of those like that. Well, I guess this is where it ends. On we go. So, another change of scenery. We're riding through the forest now. Which is really cool. You can tell there's been lots of rain here because there's all these washouts here. Dirt on the road. We haven't seen any other traffic here in the last half hour, I would say. It's snowing here. It's snowing. So, we made it to our final destination for tonight. We're at the bottom of the Petit Saint-Bernard. And this is a skiing resort in the wintertime. But there's actually quite a lot going on even in the summer. We have a nice and sunny day and some cold beer to finish off the day. That was a tough trip today, wasn't it? So, we're glad to be here.
