Highlights: Heerenveen - FC Twente | Eredivisie 2023/2024

Van Beek He doesn't take any risks but he does by playing that ball too short It's that Rots there implies but Van Wolfswinkel That's not done so strangely Van der Hart still with the fingertips And a corner kick for Twente He was actually already working on other matters To just play the ball back to Van der Hart He doesn't quite feel comfortable with the situation En Rots is actually getting too much laid off Or at least quite scary But really going all in Good corner kicks With a second post there's probably not much to be made of it Braude This is a space for Van Wolfswinkel Stijn The big pass on the way to the 16-meter area Flap is also coming Van Wolfswinkel doesn't need any of them Because he does it all by himself But he does it very skillfully It is 1-0 for Twente The striker who so desperately wants to be a striker Van Wolfswinkel never acts foolishly about it He is also quite good from the left side at FC Twente But in the core of course a real central striker This is an excellent counter From the tukkers Stijn and Flap provide the distraction That distraction could be useful for Van Wolfswinkel To then quietly corner him in the far corner Rot Valiant defensive move by Keulert That will be a pure defender Twente A cross from Stijn It's now at Rots' feet He has it on his left He can try And it goes in too And that's 2-0 Daan Rots That goes quickly Deception for Heerenveen In a very effective FC Twente in the first quarter Heerenveen started the match very cautiously The distribution of Brouw is obviously hopeless So in the feet of Rots And in the short corner Van der Hart is helpless on this dry shot from Rots Solente Heerenveen Almost 20 minutes away at the Amelendstad stadium Always not completely over those two goals from Twente In the 11th and 13th minutes Heerenveen has created nothing at all Maybe now With Saroui Saroui Close The tension is back Because also Heerenveen Very effective then At the first possible chance Nicola Escu A ghost in the first 20 minutes Now a striker for Vlezenbloek A shot from very close up Of course Saroui Involved His pass Is lifted Gone And then he is free again 1-2 Tension returns Wonderful opening phase In Friesland Keulek There is more danger on the left side at Heerenveen Excellent move by Saroui Does that fit Or does it not But like that Quick turn Very few in the Eredivisie can achieve that this way Saroui Beautiful body memory Get away from Keuleuk Acceleration But the corner was too tight No one is out of play Is that a flap Hit by Wolfswinkel Gets lost in a tight position Here is Rots It is therefore narrow Even on the left side And that leads to a corner kick Cozy little dog Bokjevic and Pruppel A prejudice between these two at the corner Rots had free street Twente can win 3- 1 here There he is Just chatting calmly with Bokjevic He eventually walks away laughing As the creator of the third Twente goal Pruppel Here is a good corner kick It ensures the danger It is Rots who extends the ball And finally Pruppel who pokes it in That's a real star Bokjevic is lost Maartje Recovered from two before Twente Van Saroui 2-3 Everything is gone In the first 38 minutes of this match What a great goal by Saroui Two minutes after Pruppel's hit The first corner kick of Twente Pruppel missed a penalty towards Bos Which he was very strongly warned about by Haye He hears nothing in his ear for now But yes if VAR takes this seriously Then Haye gets away with it Mollemaar Van Amersfoort is en route Pruppel is defended Connection requested by Cologne Olsson Well played Back towards Van Amersfoort From the striker comes the pass Leads to a scoring chance Cleemt dan Hens That's now quite widespread with referee Bos If that's the case I'll hear about it naturally This is indeed Pruppel's hand That one now goes with the arm Definitely not along the body We have watched it several times Bos must now make the decision himself What the referee Bos decides He puts it on the spot It's a penalty for Heerenveen Pruppel in his head They are tied at 3-3 They make it 3-3 That's quite a story He who just offended Pruppel Pruppel makes Hens He then takes the penalty Inside is quite cozy The fun continues merrily in the second half We are in the 58th minute The score is 3-3 between Heerenveen and Twente Twente seems to be getting stronger Stijn with the chance He doesn't let moments like this pass him by Not this time His moment always comes in a duel A great assumption There's absolutely nothing wrong with that It's in the finishing Not only the father of But also a key candidate To become the successor of Wonderen The first goal Difficult angle Unuvar in the corner What a chance for Twente A second big chance after 3-3 Stijn and Unuvar Then it dropped Listen to the reaction of the home crowd They see this as a victory This 3-3 against the third-ranked team in the Netherlands Twente had already given up a two-goal lead twice before
