Highlights: FC Twente - NEC | Eredivisie 2023/2024

Twente plays against NEC on Saturday evening Twente is level with Feyenoord and AZ 26 points after 11 matches PSV is seven points behind the leader Making his debut with the underdogs Karel Eiting in the absence of the suspended Sadilek He received two yellow cards With Metson's intervention Missing again tonight with those two on the field Rocks And the chance And almost the goal What a great save by Sillesen The deployment of Ugalde Small Previously returned to the base at FC Twente Rats Good He's not close to his man Rock Slap A great combination And then this is blown away you could say Maar Vlapp shoots him to the post This must naturally be the opening goal for Twente Twente still has the full point at home In the first five matches of the season Here is Metson for NEC Very wild Keuleu No violation but it's good Samstedt With a body of Eiting Rots still But it is slipping away Keuleu FC Twente scores again after almost twenty minutes The upper part is already in place It looks good A good initial movement Give him a bit more time To resolve it through Sillessen Bold assumption Ogawa Hansen New Japanese That's well done by Ogawa Boss What can NEC do here And that 's another possibility Hoekschop via Van Rooij Hoekschop Karel Eiting Van Rots Slim done Sontje Hansen There is now space Is he also fast enough to get free He is Weggelopen at Smal Sit here for NEC Sontje Hansen And here is the chance to really go for it for Magnus Metson NEC has firmly parked the bus in the first half But that bus sometimes also goes full speed ahead That means Twente is only getting a small chance to make it Maybe now through Smal Vlapp And Stijn and the goal Also because Sillessen won't get completely away with it The pass by Vlapp Stijn is just stepping away from Scheunen And Sillessen will still come But he is not able to stop the ball Hello Stijn He ran away from the scene The Nuiting block Rock He acted very quickly Nighting doesn't know what's coming for him there Ross The one who tried from a great distance Oenerstal is surprised Orientation maybe look for at Oenerstal He can just let go of this ball as well Next to the sheds He's also sitting in it Vlapp seems able to kick the ball away But he's just sitting there He gets it on his ear And that really hurts Ross But it's fair Truly like a thunderclap in a clear sky This NEC equalizer Rot Samsted tries to take the ball from Baas NEC can counterattack But that ball from Baas is too short Metson It's getting dangerous now Boss And Santje Hansen Why aren 't you shooting It can still go through Van Rooij Rescue Oenerstal It is a counterattack by NEC It could have been more convincing But it eventually gave her a chance Beautiful Something more emerged at NEC In the second half Supported by that early equalizer Van Metsel Look that 's also good football And a brilliant goal Van Bart van Rooij NEC is leading in Emschede And that is very surprising Is that not even a brilliant combination of NEC football And then the cross is also perfectly measured Prupper Metsel Bal in the clutches NEC is fighting its way through In the rescue of Oenerstal Absolutely essential Darkened by the pass Disconnected Prupper Beautiful continues to fight here Good ball again And the next chance And also finished The boss scores It is 1-3 What a sensation is in the making here 1-3 It seems NEC is on track for the first victory of the season Van Bolswinkel Taha' s assist And there 's the goal for Stijn Twente is back It is 2 to 3 This will surely be a wonderful second half There is still enough time for Oosting's team Stijn Small Take a break That's a good attempt What is he doing The ball falls in front of Van Bolswinkel To take it Oegalde This is Taha He scores past the goal Check here by Van Bergen It takes a moment Shot by Van Bergen And in the rebound he gets it in He's out of play Maybe from Stijn Either way The goal is from Oegalde Van Bergen And then the rebound There's Stijn Indeed offside But does that matter The goal stands The video assistant referee does nothing about it Of course he should Oegedae What is Ross doing there The referee is blowing the whistle again It's almost a fight here Also because of the somewhat messy leadership by referee Joey Kooij But then there's also Oegalde And now Nuitenk Over de Rooijen Just like Ross it is now yellow It seems Oegalde apparently did not attack the opponent here The ball is for NEC And that's how it ends Twente-NEC In a dramatic spectacle In the second half In 3-3
