Hello everyone.
In today's video, I would like to share with you some of the most basic techniques.
You may be confused in yoga practice or daily life.
There are many people who are very balanced.
There are many people who are very easy to stand on one foot,
but many others are very difficult.
Especially balanced movements in yoga are some of the postures that we have to do a lot every day.
The effect of balanced movements is not only to help us control our body better,
but sometimes it is also one of the postures that helps us check our health.
Based on the ability to balance, you can also guess how your health and body will be.
As for the benefits related to exercise or stretching,
people who walk more and stand more often have a bigger stretch than others.
Yoga movements that stand more are also movements that burn more energy than all movements,
usually about 10%.
So how can we do balanced movements easily?
These are the 5 most basic elements and the 5 strengths and weaknesses that each person needs to overcome.
First of all, to influence the balance of each of us,
we should pay attention to our feet.
Our feet are the position that is closest to the floor.
Of course, the more we are close, the more we can keep our balance.
Just like our feet are spread out.
The feet are small, but the surface of the feet is larger.
It helps us balance better.
But if it's a brick like this, its surface is very small,
then when you kick it, it will fall, right?
So, those who have bigger feet have better balance.
However, it is just a small factor.
Another factor is the structure of our feet.
You can observe that our feet are usually on the outside,
it will be close to the floor,
but on the inside, there will be a little bridge above.
It creates a bridge above.
So the structure of our feet is like a curved bridge like this.
The curved structure is a very stable structure,
which makes it easier to handle.
And in everyday life, we will walk on many different surfaces,
from hard and soft surfaces.
So the curved structure helps us to be stable
and distribute very evenly,
which helps us to be more balanced during everyday walking.
However, in everyday life,
or when a person is born with a disability,
for example, if someone has a flat foot,
it is very difficult for them to stand upright.
What is a flat foot?
It's like this outer edge.
You can see that the outer edge is close to the floor, right?
But if your inner edge is also close to the floor,
that is, the whole inner foot is not pressed against the floor,
then it is called a flat foot.
However, it may be due to the formation of your daily exercise,
or due to the weakening of your foot muscles,
which causes the whole structure of our bones to collapse,
or because you use shoes that are not scientific,
lacking in supporting factors,
then it causes a flat foot.
So how to fix it?
We practice muscle groups to increase the muscle mass of the foot.
And then you use sports shoes.
Sports shoes will help you to be healthy.
The muscle groups help to re-create the structure of our feet.
That is the first cause of the effect,
as well as the factors that affect your balance.
Then you will adjust, remember to adjust.
On our feet, there are 3 points,
called 3 points of balance,
or called the triangle of balance.
The position where the most force will be applied is the heel,
the thumb area, and the thumb area.
These are the 3 positions that create our balance.
Like holding 3 feet,
the force will be applied to those 3 positions.
During your balance,
you try to distribute the weight evenly to those 3 positions.
It will help you to be stable and keep your body more balanced, right?
So that's the first factor.
Pay attention to your feet.
We observe our feet to know how our balance is.
The second factor that affects your balance
is the kneecap, the area of the kneecap.
A foot is called balanced,
or supports a better balance.
So you pay attention to it.
From your heel to the middle of the kneecap,
and to your hip,
these 3 points are parallel to each other.
When you keep the position like this,
you will have the best balance.
But if you are in a situation where your feet are bent,
the X-axis is bent like this,
the O-axis is round like this,
and some feet are bent backward.
For example, my feet are also a bit bent.
If your feet are bent,
while maintaining your balance,
you have to try to bring these 3 points of balance together.
This will make it easier for you to maintain your balance.
For example, if your feet are bent backward,
you have to move your feet a little bit to maintain your balance.
This will increase your muscle mass.
If your feet are bent X-axis or O-axis,
you have to pay attention to these techniques
to improve your balance.
Of course, if your feet are bent at the age of 30 or 40,
it will take a lot more time to improve your balance.
If you don't adjust this position,
if you don't adjust the position where your feet are bent,
it will affect your upper body a lot.
You will often have back pain and knee pain
due to the weight of your body being distributed
to the outer edges of the knee joint,
resulting in a state of weakening of the outer edges.
Therefore, you have to control your feet a little bit
and look in the mirror to observe your feet straight.
For example, if your feet are straight like this,
the tip of your feet and knees are straight,
and the hip is straight,
it is not tilted outward like this.
If you stand like this every day,
you have to adjust it.
This is the second factor that affects your balance.
The third factor is the abdominal area.
The abdomen is also a major factor
in the technique of keeping your body level.
When you keep your body level,
you will be left-handed, right-handed,
and the way you keep your body
is due to the abdominal muscles.
Those who have more abdominal muscles
will also have better balance.
Therefore, in order to have a good balance,
you have to exercise a lot of muscles,
such as the pectoral muscle or the abdomen,
which helps to strengthen the abdominal muscles.
The more abdominal muscles you exercise,
the better your body will be.
The fourth factor that affects your balance
is the ability to focus,
or the angle of our eyes,
the direction of our eyes.
If you stand and keep looking left and right,
of course, you will have ICO,
so it will be very easy for them to do it.
But if you are a beginner,
you stand and keep looking left and right,
you don't have a certain point of view,
you are very likely to fall.
And the interesting thing in our body
is that our body often has the ability to focus.
You may remember when you listen to music,
for example,
even if you don't dance,
but you listen to the music and look at the dancers above,
they dance,
your body is also swayed.
Or you are walking on the street,
you see someone riding a motorbike in front of you,
you look at them,
you see them shake you,
they turn left,
you also turn left.
Sometimes we turn right,
we see them turn left,
we also turn left.
Our body has one thing,
when we focus on something,
we are likely to be distracted.
In the process,
if you want to keep balance,
you have to look at an object.
If you look at the person in front of you,
the person in front of you will fall,
you will also fall.
So this technique is called the eye technique,
in Thai martial arts,
in some martial arts,
it is called the unconscious eye.
Unconscious means simple,
we don't look at anything,
we just look straight.
Or you can imagine
that I spread my hands in front of this face,
but I can't see my hands,
I look through my fingers
and look straight out.
Then the image in front of your eyes
is a little softer,
but our eyes are still straight.
If you look at someone in front of you,
they will think that you are looking at them,
but in fact,
we don't look at them at all.
If we look at that technique,
it is a fairly balanced technique,
and it helps us to be very calm.
But if you are not used to it,
or you are not used to that technique,
then you should look at
an object in your practice room.
For example,
a brick,
a rope,
or a clock in the room,
but it has to be a static object.
And best of all,
it's inside,
it's in an angle of 30 degrees,
30 degrees like this.
If you look straight,
this angle is 0 degrees,
right?
But if you look down for me,
look down about 30 degrees,
and you choose an object under the house,
then you focus on that object,
your balancing ability will be much better.
Why 30 degrees?
Because if you bend more,
your head will bend down,
and when you bend down too much,
you will bend your back,
and your back will be in front of your eyes.
What about looking up?
Looking up,
we are more likely to fall backwards.
And looking straight is the best angle.
However,
in the beginning,
I always instructed the students
to look down 30 degrees,
and remember to look at an object,
not an object.
What if we have a student in front of us?
Look at them a little bit,
or avoid them,
and look at them,
then we will not be affected.
And the fifth factor
that ultimately affects our balancing ability
is our breath.
The breath,
imagine if we are standing like this,
and our breath is fast,
then it is very difficult to balance.
Fast breathing creates a lot of energy,
and in this case,
we need to be calm.
So,
deep and slow breathing
helps us to balance
and feel our body better.
So,
in the process of keeping the movement
level with your feet,
you should breathe slowly.
In case you fall,
remember,
for example,
just leave the tree alone,
and you fall down,
you have to hold it for a few seconds,
then take a deep breath,
and then come back to the movement.
It's not that we just fall,
then we come back.
The faster you come back,
like you just fell,
then you go back to the movement,
the faster you fall,
because our heart rate increases.
The faster you breathe,
the faster your heart rate increases,
and if your heart rate is increasing,
it is very difficult to keep calm.
If your heart rate is increasing,
you can only jump,
you can't stand still.
So,
if you want to stand still well,
you have to breathe slowly.
Remember,
the technique is called slow breathing.
So,
those are the five factors
that affect our ability to balance,
our ability to balance.
So,
I hope you can adjust.
If you are a person
who may not be good
in the technique of balance,
then adjust
and learn
those five factors.
And the first two factors
that may need
a very long time
to recover
are the flat feet
and sprained ankles.
So,
we have to practice
a lot of exercises,
especially for the elderly.
If you are an elderly person,
please pay attention
to see if your children
have that problem.
Because while they are still young,
it is very easy to recover.
Because if you have flat feet
and knees,
your back will hurt
when you get older,
even your knees will hurt
a lot.
And if we also lose weight,
our ability to balance
will be very poor
and affect
our health a lot.
So,
I hope that
with the brief sharing
that I have just given you,
it will help you
in the process of practicing.
And see you next time
in the next exercises.
Goodbye!
