People deluded, I'm back again. I hope you're all doing well and safe. I hope you're all blessed.
Now allegedly there's been a development where Benjamin Sesco is concerned,
Mikel Arteta's contract is concerned and there's a bunch of other rumours that we could go through
over the course of this video. So yeah man, sit tight, big up you lot for tuning in. Don't forget
to subscribe and smash the like button, get those creative juices flowing and leave a comment when
this video premieres and also in the comment section, it boosts the algorithm. We're this
close to 60,000. The journey long-term is 70,000. So we're moving along trust the process,
but enough rambling. Allow me to share my screen and let's get straight into it. Now,
Mikel Arteta needs to sign a new deal again. I don't really want to get into no conversation
about Mikel Arteta. For me personally, I think there's more positives than negatives for him at
this moment in time. I don't back him religiously. I do think there are some concerns and I think
the question now is, can you deliver a title? But there's, I think there's more reasons for
him to stay with this long-term project than leave. If you can find a manager that's better
than him and whatnot, then I want my club to win a Premier League trophy in the same way that as
much as I love Bakayo Saka, if there was a right winger that wanted to sign for Arsenal, that was
10 times the player he is, we ain't got time for feelings. It is what it is. But with, you know,
the contracts of existing players that we've renewed, obviously a couple of new signings last
summer, potentially signings this year, well, anything can happen. And Mikel Arteta hasn't
shied away from, you know, potentially managing his fame one day. We need to tie him down because
it sends positivity that we've got stability and, you know, a long-term project here really and
truly. Mikel Arteta to be offered huge pay rise from 9 million per year contract as he enters
formal talks with less than 12 months left on his current Arsenal deal. So he's got a season to run.
Now, for me personally, I think he signed that new deal. I've said that for a few months. I think the
only thing if lacking is probably to take some pictures and get, you know, official confirmation.
Let me know your thoughts. But, you know, he's set to enter formal talks over a new deal. Again,
we don't want to go into the new season with speculation over our manager's future. He did
say when asked on one of his last press conferences, kind of want, they kind of just shelved
the talks allegedly so they could focus on the season. Mikel Arteta is heading into formal contract
talks on course to become one of the best paid bosses in the Premier League. I mean, you know,
last two years, you know, he's finished second. Again, you have to give him a new deal. Obviously,
he's being linked with other clubs, potentially could have taken over at Manchester City.
Every club now that is trying to kind of not copy the model that we're doing, but kind of go for
one of the coaches of tomorrow, like what you're seeing with Chelsea. You see Mikel Arteta and what
Arsenal are doing, whether we've won trophies or not as a kind of guide point. So, yeah, while he's
got, you know, 12 months left on his deal, apparently there's confidence from all sides
that an agreement for Arteta to stay will be reached. Not only will Arteta's pending new terms
be the most lucrative Arsenal has ever offered any manager, the 42-year-old will also be propelled
towards the top of the country's best paid coaches. Pep Guardiola earns £20 million a season. It's
nice, isn't it? And to be fair, £9 million a year is good, but you know, £30 million is a madness.
Maybe one day, Mikel Arteta, make sure you've got bonuses in that deal. I mean, it's good news
really and truly, man. And you know, Arteta has guided us from some mucky, some very muddy and
mucky waters. The sun is now shining at Arsenal Football Club. But again, we need to develop
bringing in major trophies or just winning trophies, people. He is one of the best young
coaches in Europe and whatever people have to say, he jumped in at the deep end for this job.
He's 42. He's been here for a couple of years. He's learned a lot. He's managed a big club
at a turbulent time. So there's many things that he's probably learned and will, you know,
put him in good stead for the long term. I don't know if the, you know, managers will be like,
you know, Pep Guardiola, not Pep, sorry, Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger,
managing into their later years. I kind of think that's leaving. I think the job is a bit too
intense. But Mikel Arteta is 42 in a managerial terms. I know the game is changing, but
respectfully, he's a baby. Apparently the project he has led at Arsenal is widely viewed as one of
the most exciting on the continent, with the club's operations geared towards him remaining
at the helm in the long term. I mean, it is exciting, but it needs to correlate to winning.
It's like telling me this party is going to be the most amazing thing. There's going to be so
many girls there. All my friends are being there. It's going to be the best DJs in the world. But
when you get there, boy, you need to see a party actually jump off. So I know we're getting a bit
impatient and I urge caution. But again, it is nice to do all this trust the process stuff and
whatnot. It has to correlate, people. Anyways, away from that, if that is that, then that's
positive news. In addition to discussions over pay, all parties will also lay out their ambitions
for the club moving forward as they aim to cement their place back among Europe's elite sides.
You'd imagine the long-term project we already know what we're doing, but that's what it said.
Preliminary informal discussions over a new deal have taken place, but are set to accelerate
once our Teta and sporting director, Edu, return from their respective holidays.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are being kept updated on developments over Red Bull Live's six-forward
Benjamin Sesco's future. Gomarez and Douglas Luiz are among the club's central midfield targets.
Any moves for Gomarez or Luiz could depend on Thomas Partey leaving the club. We have seen
rumours of that. Mikel Arteta apparently won an award over in Italy, people. He won best
Premier League coach award. He picked up the best coach Premier League award at the
KAFD Globe Soccer Awards in Europe. He was in attendance there, people, and he was actually
sat with Cesc Fabregas and Xabi Alonso, people. He's presented it by Cesc Fabregas, who's having,
you know, doing his own coaching stuff in Italy and actually be managing in Serie A. Who knows,
man, if Arteta was doing major stuff and he keeps it moving, maybe our former captain
returns at the helm, people, in that regard. This article kind of says the same thing,
so I'm not going to go over the Mikel Arteta things. But if you look here, it says,
Arsenal are in the market for a new striker, which we know. RB Live's six-forward Benjamin
Sesco is top of their wanted list. And while they're not expecting superstar signings this
summer, they will strengthen their squad. It all fits to mapping out Arteta's long-term future,
remaining at Arsenal with a quiet confidence on both sides that can be wrapped up.
So, yeah, man, we want to get a move on where signings are concerned, people. Once again,
tentative talks have started. Apparently, people, Arteta was known as a tough negotiator as a player
when it came to contracts, so it's certain that he can command a good deal to pledge his future
to the Emirates. I mean, 100%. Like, let's be honest, this is a relationship of convenience.
He fitted the model. But if I'm Mikel Arteta, I'm saying, listen, look what I'm doing now.
I'm 42. Pep might leave next year. This club is going to go places. If you don't sign my new deal,
then I'll go somewhere, city, you know, every decent club that is linked with a manager,
Mikel Arteta could throw his hat into the ring, whether that's Barcelona, Manchester City,
Real Madrid, et cetera, et cetera. I'm not saying he's the best option. I'm not saying he's going
to get those jobs. I'm just saying if these things became available, Arteta would be on
the shortlist, people. So, yeah, people, and he'll earn a lot more, well, a bit more than,
you know, Arsene Wenger's eight million per year contract. And you can imagine the next
renewal, Arteta will earn a lot more in that regard. Arteta did say in a speech,
win, win, and win. That's what we all want. We've built for a few years. Right now,
we have a team that is full of enthusiasm and so hungry to win trophies. We know the competition,
but we believe we can do it. So we are going to give it a real go. Fair enough, people.
And this article has also said Aaron Ramsdale and Ketia Nelson could all be potential or possible
departures. Bayern Munich have been linked with Zinchenko, who has two years left on his deal.
Thomas Parta has a year left on his deal, and his future is up in air. And it's once again said,
we're looking at Douglas Luiz there, people. So, draw of that what you will. Once again,
people, everybody is saying the same kind of things. Arsenal could definitely turn
SESCO's head, allegedly. Dean Jones of Give Me Sport has said, my hunch is that
Arsenal weren't planning to do business as soon as the window opens in mid-June,
but with SESCO, that would be necessary. Apparently, his release clause is quite
time-sensitive. I don't know, people. So, this is something they have to decide right now. If
Arsenal do put their foot down on this one, he'll be tempted to go for it. They could definitely
turn his head, and he would be a great addition to that squad. Amen. I mean, we're still doing the
Ivan Toni things. We have been linked with Victor Rosserman and Vlahovic, as well as Ivan Toni
throughout the last few months, folks. Keeping up the theme with strikers, Joshua Zersky is
receiving interest from Man United. He has a £34m release clause that will be valid for six
weeks from July 1st, people. Apparently, some reports say Kaya Djurupkin, who has a good
relationship at Arsenal and a couple of his clients already here, could be the key ingredient
to potentially bringing the Bologna striker to the football club. Edu has a close friendship bond
with Djurupkin, who stands to benefit from the transfer in the form of agent fees, which we know,
people. Juventus are also interested in him, allegedly, and it still says we're linked with
Benjamin Sesko, etc. So, you know, you look at Zersky's £34m,
Benjamin Sesko's £55 odd million. I think that's the route Arsenal will go down. I don't think
we're going for the Ossermans and, you know, those 60 years acts, as much as we'd all love
that. I'm not saying these players are bad. I just don't think Arsenal are going for that.
But what do I know, people? According to reports in Italy,
Milan are also interested in such people. So we'll have to see exactly what's going on.
With Arsenal seeing no problem in being asked to pay a commission worth between
€10m to €15m. So again, in terms of wages, of course, the British clubs could probably eclipse
most of the teams in Europe, with the exception of a few. Romano on Aaron Ramsdale has said he's
expected to leave for sure. I think you all knew that. But there's nothing advanced with any club
yet. So it's not clear yet how much Arsenal get for him before having a replacement lined up to
serve as a backup to David Rayo. They want to make sure that they find the best possible solution for
Ramsdale. So there's a lot to do in this off-season for our football club. We've already gone through
that. Xavi Simmonds, who's been linked with Arsenal as well as a number of clubs, he's keen
on returning to Barcelona either permanently or on loan, people. As it says here, the likes of
Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old,
while Leipzig are keen to keep him around for another season. Simmonds wants to have his future
resolved before the start of Euro 2024 on June the 14th. And it seems he has now made up his
mind. So he's got around two odd weeks to decide that if that's what he wants to do, people.
TBR Football understands Newcastle have confirmed to Bruno Gamara as his reps in the last few weeks
that he won't be sold this summer, with the only way he could be sold if somebody meets his 100
million release clause active until the end of next month. So we'll have to see how that goes.
We've been linked with another Benfica player in Antonio Silva, the 20-year-old centre-back. I think
there's a lot that he needs to iron out of his game, but he's a good player. And if and when
that time comes, I'd imagine Benfica will make a handsome profit. Arsenal have been given a major
boost in their hopes of signing Antonio Silva. The 20-year-old continues to be heavily linked
with a move to the Premier League following his impressive performances for Benfica this season.
He's got a contract until 2027. He played 30 times in the top flight. He helped them keep 15
clean sheets, people, which is quite decent. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United allegedly
have all made contact with Benfica regarding a potential sale for Silva. The report states that
the Portuguese giants are willing to entertain offers in excess of 100 million euros, 85 million
quid now. That's where I know reports yesterday said Sporting Lisbon are dropping the asking
price on D-Monday. But when you look at Mark Gurley, Antonio Silva and D-Monday, obviously
you have to pay the going rate and I would love even more depth defensively. But once you see,
for me anyways, 50-plus million upwards for defenders where we've got Saliba and Gabriel,
I can't really see it unless some are more adaptable and can play in roles than other people.
Benfica are going to make decent money. Big up to everyone who has watched my video on
João Neves. They're going to make serious bread on that really and truly. Apparently Ruri Costa
has admitted that no Portuguese club can survive without sales. So that's fuel to the fire really
and truly. And they will, to be fair, they'll probably make a hundred or a million give or
take on both of them. João Neves is going for something from 60 all the way to 100 one day.
Antonio Silva probably the same with the way the game is going. Real Madrid and PSG
are also keen, allegedly, but it's believed that the player prefers a move to England.
We'll have to see, man. Maybe the Portuguese influence sees him rock up at Man United.
Arsenal are willing to sell Smith-Rowe. Big him up because him and Reece Nelson are in Jamaica.
Shout out my Jamaicans. Make sure you smash the like button. So yeah, Smith-Rowe and Partey's
days could be numbered once again. Smith-Rowe, Partey, Zinchenko, Cedric Suarez, Fabio Vieira,
Eddie Nketiah, Reece Nelson, Kieran Tierney and Albert Sambi-Lokonga are all linked with
Big up Lokonga, but it's getting annoying you talking in interviews and saying the same thing
about leaving. We know, we get it. But anyways, I've done a video on Marcus Rashford, potentially
what that could mean for Arsenal. So make sure you're subscribing and your notification bells
on. Allegedly, Mikel Arteta and Marcus Rashford have reportedly spoken in recent weeks and there's
an interest on both sides regarding the forward moving from Manchester United to Arsenal. It's
going to cost a lot of money. Again, I don't know where you're at that. I've done a video
giving all my thoughts. I don't want to spoil it, but let me know your thoughts potentially on
Marcus Rashford rocking up at Arsenal. Nobody cares what Willian has had to say about his move.
Latoro Martinez is boring. He's clearly not signing for Arsenal, but Arsenal are set to beat
Premier League rivals Man United and Chelsea to the Inter Milan striker Latoro Martinez this
summer. Allegedly, we have had a previous interest in him. It says Barcelona have been interested.
But again, it seems like he's close to signing a new contract people at Inter Milan. Anything you
see from the chairmen at Inter Milan and Latoro Martinez kind of reflect that really. I like him
a lot, but I don't know if he's the best option. I don't know if he's a cold-hearted killer in
front of goal as much as he's had some strong seasons in Serie A. It seems like he does his
best when he's in an unofficial or an official kind of partnership up front, like you saw with
this season that's just gone, and also with Lukaku when they won the Scudetto,
really and truly.
He's done well in Austria. He's won a trophy at 21 years of age, winning a trophy, playing week
in, week out. You can't really go back to playing under-21s football. You never know. Things can
happen. If Mikel Arteta says, I believe in you, great. But with the fact that on paper, there's
Kai Havertz, there's Trossart, there's Gabriel Jesus, there's in theory Martinelli and rumours
of another striker potentially arriving. There's about six players ahead of you and at 21 minutes
of currency. So I think it's a thing where unfortunately, similar to Charlie Paterno,
it's just, I'm going to sell you and keep it moving.
There's money going around. I don't think it would be the worst idea to buy Archie Gray and
loan him right back to Leeds for another season or something like that. But for what it's worth,
Romano has said,
I think most Leeds fans could probably accept that Somerville was going to leave.
If I was them, I'd be disappointed Archie Gray's leaving at this moment. But I've said it before,
I think if talent is lateral, I think he'll play for England one day. That's just my thoughts.
Martial has previously revealed he's got an affiliation for Arsenal and whatnot as his
contract at Man Utd dies down. Good player can't stay fit. Another one, probably like Rashford,
where the illusion of you in theory and what you can bring to the squad is probably different from
the reality. But let me know your thoughts. Would you take a chance on him on a free transfer?
We're still linked with Nico Williams people. Some reports say we're not on it. Some reports
say we are. So again, we're taking around the houses there. We've gone over Somerville and
Gray already. Barcelona have allegedly made contact over Onana, someone who is still linked
with Arsenal Football Club people in that regard. Dean Jones has said,
I don't think anyone does rate him that highly. Apart from Everton, I don't think anyone thinks
he's worth that money. Nobody rates him highly enough. 70 million is a bit of a madness. I mean,
if he was to sign for Arsenal, I wouldn't necessarily be against it personally, folks.
So it is what it is in that regard. Arsenal have been linked with Danilo,
who's now at Nottingham Forest. Some of you will remember when he was in Brazil,
he was heavily linked with him. Good player. Hardly pulled up any trees over there at Nottingham
Forest. And apparently people are now ready to move on from Real Sociedad's Martin Zubermendy,
having grown frustrated over the progress of a potential deal. Gomarez, Onana and
João Neves are all allegedly still on Arsenal's radar. Again, are we really interested in Danilo?
Maybe. But is it a thing where apparently Nottingham Forest need to sell players?
And we've previously scouted him. He's still got five years left on his deal.
So we'll have to see exactly what that means in my opinion. So I'm not going to read
personally too much into that, but you can draw what you will. So yeah, people,
is there anything else that we've got to discuss? I'm trying to find other tabs for you lot. We've
gone over Litoral Martinez, but for what it's worth, Charles Watts himself has weighed in on
that people and he's kind of poured cold water on it, rightly so, because nobody can see it.
Litoral Martinez is a name that has consistently been linked to Arsenal over the past few years,
but the links have never really felt like they've had any substance. He's not a player that has ever
really been mentioned to me as a legitimate target, despite Arsenal's need for a top level forward.
Martinez is clearly a quality player. You don't hit the heights that he has with Inter without
having something special about you. But I would be surprised if those links were seen from time
to time with Arsenal ever really materialise into something more concrete. Arsenal want
to sign a striker this summer. There's no doubt about that. But my understanding of the situation
is that any addition is more likely to be a potential like signing than someone with the
profile of Martinez. And when I say potential, I don't mean an 18 year old with no real experience
in the top league, but a forward more along the lines of Benjamin Sesco, who, while being a work
in progress, still looks ready to come in and make a big impact in the squad straight away.
I think that's been articulated absolutely perfectly by Charles Watson. Literally,
I can't add anything on to that. But he has also spoken about Fabio Vieira and Emil Smith-Brel
people as well. There are big question marks over Vieira's future now, but I don't think
anything has been decided yet. Vieira falls into the same category of plenty of players in the
Arsenal squad. I don't think Arsenal are actively pushing him out the door at this stage, but should
a tempting offer arrive this summer, then I would expect them to listen to it. I do think what
happens with Emil will have an impact on Vieira's future. I'd be surprised if Arsenal let both
players go in the summer. And there's definitely a good chance Smith-Brel will leave. Talks are
scheduled between Smith-Brel's camp and the club in the very near future to determine his future.
The same talks happened last summer and Arteta made it very clear that he did not want to
sanction the 23-year-old's exit. Whether he has the same strong stance this time around remains
to be seen. Smith-Brel only has two years left on his deal now. And as much as he loves Arsenal,
he and his camp are well aware that he's at the stage of his career where he really needs to play.
And even though he's not played much in the last couple of seasons, I would expect the market for
Smith-Brel this summer to be far more competitive than it would be for Vieira. And apparently we
in January, people. So if you were to ask me who out of the two I'd expect to leave,
I'd be more inclined to say Smith-Brel as it stands. Me as well, unfortunately. But
the game's the game. It is what it is in that regards, people. And we also know Thomas Partey
could be available. So it's a bit weird because we think we've got stability and a stable squad.
But half of the players, some clearly we need to push more out the door. Unfortunately,
Tavares, these kind of players. Then I think you've got the Fabios, the Smith-Brels, the Parteys,
Gabriel Jesus, Sinchenko, players that I don't think the club will push you out the door.
But if offers arrive, they've got a decision to make, people. So, yeah, let me know your
thoughts on everything we've discussed. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe.
Thank you for listening. On that note, peace.
