In an attempt to travel to the beautiful Destin, Florida (KDTS), Kevin and Dapper Dom encounter a problem when the alternator fails mid flight after departing Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD). Knowing that the battery would eventually quit, they make a detour to Nacogdoches, TX (KOCH) which turned out to be an amazing stay.
What's up guys? Welcome back to the channel.
Just want to let you guys know that today
my Grumman Alpha Alpha 1 Bravo is turning 50 years old.
It means we have to celebrate it a little bit.
So what I'm going to do is I'm going to fly up to Dallas Exec,
pick up my friend Dom,
and then we're going to fly over to Destin.
And then on Saturday, we're going to fly over to Daytona,
and on the way back, we'll probably hit New Orleans.
And we'll do it like a 50th birthday celebration tour.
I'm recovering from a little bit of illness,
but I'll check in with you guys as soon as I get to the class Bravo in Dallas.

Okay, so where the f*** do you want me to park at?
Hey Deanna, how you doing? My name is Kevin Abiz.
I'm actually right outside in the Blue Grumman, just wondering where I should park at.
I don't see anybody out here.
Alright, thank you so much.
Bye bye.
Welcome back y'all, I picked up Dapper Dog, man.
Shout out to Ambassador Jet Center.
They did right by us for the Grumman.
We have a two-leg journey over to Destin now, so.
We'll talk to you guys from here.
Alright y'all, quick little update.
We are stuck in Nacogdoches, Texas.
The alternator apparently was shot.
It's also the original alternator, so I'm not surprised.
But, we are stuck here for at least 48 hours, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because we like it so far.
We are staying at the Freedonia.
It's probably the nicest hotel room that we could find.
Y'all just saw a couple of snippets.
Pretty legit.
Weather is decent.
We're about to get hit by a couple of thunderstorms.
But other than that, pretty okay.
My account took a little hit.
A big hit.
Other than that, everything is everything.
We're about to go get some Italian food.
I don't know, maybe we'll check in later.
Maybe we'll check in with you on Friday.
We'll see.
Later.
