You guys ready to roll?
Yeah, yeah, ready to rock.
All righty, it's runway 3-4, I see it.
All right, castor clear, it's rocking home.
Stable.
All right, takeoff power is set and achieved, one good engine, airspeed is alive, there's
50 knots.
We're gaining speed nicely, we have a nice long runaway, don't need to rush anything.
There's rotation.
Positive rate on the brakes, gears up.
All right, we're looking for 115 for our flaps.
115, flaps are autopilot.
November 2-Victor-Juliet, contact Tindall Departure, good day.
Tower, Departure, great day, 1-2-Victor-Juliet.
All right, information Charlie, expect a visual for runway 3-4.
1-7-5-2-6, that's information Charlie, expecting the visual for 3-4.

I-Den, climb and maintain 5,000, 1-2-Victor-Juliet.
1-2-Victor-Juliet, radar contact, 2 miles north of Tennessee Airport.
Position checks, 2-Victor-Juliet.
All righty, thrust lever's good, engine parameters are good,
cabin pressurization is looking good.
Eyes protection, I need an altimeter transition to go.
1-2-Victor-Juliet, contact approach, 125.2.
25.2, good day, 1-2-Victor-Juliet.
Roger, low, VisionJet 1-2-Victor-Juliet, 2.1, climbing 5,000, runway heading.
1-2-Victor-Juliet, 10-0-approach, roger, climb and maintain 1-1-thousand.
Climb and maintain 1-1-1-thousand, 1-2-Victor-Juliet.
All right, welcome aboard.
Get to fly with my beautiful girlfriend up front, parents in the back.
We are heading home.
It's gonna be a long one today.
Yeah, Sactown or bust.
Yeah, Sactown or bust, I like it.
First stop, Oklahoma, it's awesome.
Tyndall Approach, Delta 2736, out of 1-0-thousand,
descending to 8-thousand with Charlie.
All right, 3.2 for 11, looking for the turn soon, hopefully.
Heading 1-9-0 for the visual, 3-4.
Let's see, we got some weather right here, we'll probably go just to the left of,
we may be above it by then also, so actually I see it right there.
You guys all good back there?
All good, mom doesn't have a headset on, so.
Okay, she don't care.
You guys cool enough?
Yeah, we're good.
1-2-Victor-Juliet, cleared on course, direct V for NSO.
Direct V for NSO, 1-2-Victor-Juliet, thanks.
All righty, nav mode, we're looking good.
The Chattahoochee River.
Oh yeah, right there.
So funny.
Way down yonder on a, oh yeah, there's beautiful Santa Rosa Beach.
Oh yeah.
Actually that's probably, what is that off to our left?
Santa Rosa hit that?
Approach 1-2-0-point-8-2.
Yes it is, because there's Destin.
Delta 2736, 1-2-0-point-8-2.
What do you think about the up front and the SF?
You've probably sat up here more than anyone so far.
Compared to the other plane, the SR-22, what do you think?
Oh, this is the best seat in the house.
I think there's like a good amount more room.
And then also it's just so cool that it's all simplified with just screens.
Screens are pretty unreal.
It's really crazy.
And like this window.
Number 1-2-Victor-Juliet, contact Jacksonville Center, 1-2-0-point-2, good day.
20-point-2, good day, 1-2-Victor-Juliet.
Jacksonville, hello, Vision Jet 1-2-Victor-Juliet, 7-point-6, climb 8-1-1-thousand, direct defunct.
1-2-Victor-Juliet, Jacksonville, climb 18-5-0-2, 3-0.
Climb 18-5-0-2, 3-0, 1-2-Victor-Juliet.
And you just feel like you're in a bubble with this beautiful, like, the big window.
Just like, you see all the things.
Yeah, any, any, this plane gets a lot of flack percentile, it goes so low.
If you're going any higher, all this window space is going to be
going to have like a little window, so they open it up pretty, pretty darn well.
Well, I like seeing it out, so.
Me too. 8-point-5, climbing 23.
All right, well, we have some clouds above us, it's still quite positive temperatures,
and I don't see anything on the screen, so nothing I'm worried about, just maybe a couple bumps.
It's crazy how much bay is behind Santa Rosa and Destin.
Do you think it's Gator Nation?
I don't know about the bay, but I don't want to know.
Yeah, I don't want to know either.
I don't know if they live in brackish water, but crocs do, I think.
All right, and in the clouds, we're still on positive temps, which I love.
There's 4 Celsius, so I'm going to turn on the engine de-ice,
just that's what the POH says, 5 below, and visible moisture, you whip it on.
Y'all good back there, Dad?
Yeah.
I forgot to put my headphones on, so quiet.
We're already giving them the best we can do, really, so.
We're just climbing.
I would give them more, but I see 145 indicated.
If I was to get into icing, which it could be a little light rhyme,
I would have to be 160 knots, so then I'd have to slow down even more, so it's kind of funky.
All right, we can come on here, GTC2, wait point, okay.
Just gave us a little shortcut, which we like.
This part of flying never gets old.
Breaking through?
Yeah.
So cool.
And there's the tops, so pretty.
So cool.
Wow, it's gorgeous.
All right.
All right, 16.6, climbing 230.
I didn't get anything on the wings, maybe just a tiny bit.
It'll melt off.
Climb checks complete, standby, cruise.
A lot of people have been asking me about this thing.
We can thank the mom in the back for buying this.
I thought it was a joke, but it's a kid's writing tablet that we got on Amazon
for about $6, and it's changed my flying world.
Instead of having an iPad that you have to recharge,
I have a piece of paper that you have to throw out every time.
This is always the plan.
Don't have to charge it, you can write everything down, scribble, and it makes for a great
tic-tac-toe while we're cruising.
Or hangman.
Yeah, all the good stuff.
All right, 18 for 23.
All right, so slow boring climb up to 30,000 feet.
We'll catch you guys at cruise.
All righty, 27, climbing 30.
Mom's probably already asleep.
She claims that she gets less oxygen than us up front.
I don't think she's used to cabin pressure being above 5,000.
What's mom's flying essentials?
That's a good question.
A brush.
A bag that's half open, shoving it in the plane.
A whole lot of coffee.
Like four bananas.
Lip gloss, bananas.
A book.
Multiple books.
A Stanley that is like flying around the cabin, not anywhere secured.
Yeah, well, because the stands don't fit into the cup holders.
Three or four pee cups, that's always...
Yeah, people ask how we pee up here, and it's like, well,
you have to get creative.
Yeah, it's honestly kind of a workout, low-key.
Yeah, a lot of bottles.
What you consume goes right back in that cup.
Exactly, it's a great, great concept.
Yeah, pretty much.
All right, last 1,000 feet, climbing slow.
I think when we hit that 1,000 feet, mom's going to be ready to pee.
All right, yeah, I mean, we are.
30 minutes in the flight, I mean, that's a long one already.
Yeah, that's about the time.
All right, we're level at 3-0-0.
Crews, thrust is good, ices, protection's good.
Wing stabs are all good.
Cabin's comfy.
We'll catch you guys in the descent to hopefully Oklahoma.
We'll see how far we can get west.
All right, we've got information echo, 23.1 descending.
Pretty cool what they had us do.
They said cross 37 miles before lot and not maintain 6,000.
So I can do it right here, 6,000.
37 miles before, and it makes a waypoint for us, and we just go VNAV direct.
Technology is cool.
So sweet.
Here's your checklist back.
Descent thrust level is good.
Landing field elevation 1-1-1-0.
That looks good.
Ice protection's good.
Altimeter transition to go.
Welcome to Oklahoma.
Sweet.
Are we in the state already?
We are, yeah.
Already lots in approach briefing.
Runway 17's in use.
We have a tower there, so they'll tell us if they want us to enter left or right.
When we land, we're going to lot and aviation services.
It'll be a left turnout.
Maybe delta.
Get some fuel, go to the bathroom, and head on to the next stop.
Possibly Lake Powell.
What city and state is Lake Powell in?
Page, Arizona.
I'll be landing with about 64 gallons of fuel.
Airplane level 230.
Above an hour, which is great.
What was your estimate?
About this, yeah.
Beautiful Oklahoma.
Whole lot of nothing down here.
Flightcheck 352.
Cutting portion of 32-97.
It's cool, though.
I think it looks pretty.
Yeah, it's gorgeous.
32-97 for flightcheck 352.
There's lots of water, which is cool.
Yeah.
I'm sure it's a good way to land.
Oh, country song is something about Kickapoo Creek.
Lake Kickapoo?
Can't remember what country song.
Something on Kickapoo Creek.
Number two, Victor Julia.
Context point still approach 118.6.
Alright, team six, good day.
One two, Victor Julia.
Same.
Approach, hello.
Vision jet one two, Victor Julia.

Number one two, Victor Julia.
Port still approach.
Expect visual approach runway 17.
Expect a visual runway 17 to Victor Julia.
It's so cool seeing these little towns.
Alright, 1,000 feet to go.
6.9 descending 6,000.
I'm going to disconnect auto throttle.
I want to be able to control our speed on the way in.
Number two, Victor Julia.
Descend and pause discretion, maintain 3,000.
Pause discretion down 3,000.
One two, Victor Julia.
Alrighty, I'm going to set...
Vertical track.
3,000.
Alrighty, altitude is captured.
Are there any ski lakes in Oklahoma?
I don't know of any.
Not that I know of, though.
You guys know any skiers from Oklahoma?
No.
Looks like we've got a little town on parray.
One two, Victor Julia.
Are you familiar with the restricted area north of the airport?
Yeah, we have it in sight, but negative.
One two, Victor Julia.
First time here.
Two, Victor Julia.
Roger.
When your base turn to the airport, you'll need to keep within two miles of the runway
to avoid the restricted airspace.
Two, Victor Julia.
Roger.
We see it.
Thanks, sir.
Is that blue area restricted?
Yeah, it is.
Alrighty, belts are on.
You guys good?
Okay, you can keep going.
Foxtrot, towards the approach.
Descend and maintain 3,000 and verify you have the weather at Duncan.
Slow us up.
Foxtrot, IFR cancellation received.
No traffic observed between you and the airport.
Autothrottle's coming off again.
I'm going to bring the fire back.
Ride the wave with these bumps.
I wonder why we brought you down so soon.
I don't know.
Probably just restricted airspace or something, but not too big of a deal.
Two, Victor Julia.
At Lawton airport, 12 o'clock, one zero miles and over.
Reporting in sight.
Alright, field in sight now.
One two, Victor Julia.
Two, Victor Julia.
Roger.
Clear visual approach runway 17.
Just keep the base within two and a half miles of the runway.
Clear with visual runway 17.
We'll keep the base in sight.
One two, Victor Julia.
Contact Lawton Tower, 119.9.
Have a good day.
199.9.
Great day.
One two, Victor Julia.
Alrighty.
I got the field.
Tower, good afternoon.
VisionJet one two, Victor Julia.
Abound visual runway 17.
Number one two, Victor Julia, Lawton Tower.
Report two mile left base runway 17.
Report two mile left base 17.
One two, Victor Julia.
Alrighty.
I'm going to go activate vectors to final.
Slow on a sub-arm.
Go heading mode.
You guys see the airport's right over there.
This kind of looks like a ski lake over here.
Alright.
Alright, first notch flaps coming in, so we check.
Oh yeah, there's totally a water ski course down there.
Right there?
On this lake off of the right wing, right below us.
Yeah, totally a course.
But no turn island, right?
No.
Wow.
That's so funny.
Speed check.
Gear's coming down.
Tire's down.
Flaps.
150.
Flaps are coming full.
Differential pressure's coming down nicely.
We're looking good.
One two, Victor Julia.
Two mile left base 17.
Number one two, Victor Julia.
Runway 17 cleared to land.
Wind one one zero at seven.
Runway 17 will clear to land.
One two, Victor Julia.
Alrighty, and autopilot's going off.
Clear the restricted space before landing.
Gear's down.
Three green, no red.
Flaps are full.
Yacht amp to go, and we are clear to land.
Oh, there's a cracker barrel.
Oh, lunchtime.
Hey, a lot of ours are closing.
And look, a water park.
Do we have time?
Let's go.
Straight up the ski lake.
Hey, can we uh...
And a cable park, I think.
Oh yeah, definitely.
Maybe.
All right, that's runway 17.
I see it.
MFD confirms.
Let's turn final.
Altitude is looking good.
There's VREF plus 10.
I like it.
500.
All right, 500 call out.
Three green, no red.
Flaps full.
Beautiful runway, wow.
I like their little tower over there.
Yeah, we're a little high, but we're looking good.
Plenty of runway, and we'll be patient with it.
Yacht amp is away.
Landing checks are complete.
Whole lot of float, but it was smooth, and we are down.
Greased it.
Ha ha, thank you.
Nice job.
Thank you, guys.
Welcome to Oklahoma.
Woo hoo.
412, Victor Juliet, turn left, taxiway Charlie.
Left alpha, parking distance.
Left turn Charlie, left turn alpha to parking with you.
G'day, 12, Victor Juliet.
All righty, we're clear on the right.
We're clear on the left.
Flaps are up.
Probes are off.
Engine and probes, all good.
Drop the landing light as well.
All right, everyone.
Welcome to Oklahoma.
Thanks for watching this video, and we'll see you on the next one.
Say bye, everyone.
Bye.
