7 DAY SMOOTHIE CHALLENGE!

Drink for Health

Hey guys!
So today I have a smoothie challenge for you.
Your challenge is that for 7 days, you are going to replace one meal, breakfast, lunch
or dinner, for a smoothie.
In my previous video, I showed you how to buy cheap fruit.
And so today's video is using that fruit for smoothies, because most of that fruit was
really ripe, and I made it into a challenge.
So a lot of this fruit is fruit that's in season right now in my hometown, San Diego,
California.
And I know that you guys live in all parts of the world, so if you don't find this fruit,
it's fine.
I'm going to give you some substitutes to the fruit that you can use.
But the point of this video is to show you how to prep for smoothies during your week.
One thing that's very important when you're embarking on a healthier lifestyle is to be
prepared.
Because at the beginning, you're just getting used to the lifestyle, and it can be hard
to eat healthy if you're not fully prepared.
So things like going on Sunday or any other day during the week to stock up on your fruits
and vegetables, and then taking either one of those days to prep for the week is going
to put you in the perfect spot for you to actually eat healthy.
So I'm going to give you three smoothie recipes that you can use during the week, however
you want.
And without further ado, let's begin.
Ready?
Let's do this.
First smoothie is going to have half an avocado for our healthy fat, one bunch of kale for
added minerals, two cups of ripe pineapple, two bananas, and two cups of water.
Put it in the blender, blend it really, really, really well, and we got our green smoothie
ready.
Smoothie number one, listo.
Smoothie number two is going to be two tablespoons of sunflower seeds for our healthy fat, two
cups of nectarines, and if you don't have nectarines, you can replace that with pears,
two cups of strawberries, two bananas, and two cups of water.
Blend that super well, and smoothie number two is ready.
Smoothie number three is two large tablespoons of almonds for our healthy fat, two cups of
peaches, but you can replace that with papaya, mango, or apple, half a cup of blackberries,
two bananas, and two cups of water.
Blend that really well, and smoothie number three is ready.
So these are the recipes of the smoothies.
One day, you're going to take all of your fruit, and you're going to take these ingredients
of the recipes, and you're going to put them in separate bags for seven days.
So as you can see, I have my plastic bags here for the seven days.
I've numbered them, and all I'm going to do is just put it in the freezer, and then
during the week, when it's time for me to drink my smoothie, I'm just going to take
it out and make my smoothie.
This way of prepping food makes it so much easier, and I know that it's only three recipes
for the seven days, but you can mix and match and repeat whatever recipe that you want.
Also, if you want more smoothie recipes, you can download my app, 30 Day Smoothie Challenge,
and this app is super cool because it gives you 30 recipes for 30 days, and it also gives
you shopping lists, and you can add to favorites.
It has a bunch of things that, honestly, it makes prepping smoothies really easy and shopping
for them, too.
So if you want to download that, I'll leave the link to that in the description of this
video.
Let me know what you guys thought of this video.
I've actually thought of making another meal prep video, but for the whole week, for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner.
So if you guys want to see something like that, let me know in the comments below, and
if you like this video, don't forget to like it and subscribe here to my channel if you
have not subscribed.
