Hello and welcome to The Uma Show. If lines around your mouth are bothering you, then this video is
just for you. A lot of you have watched my face massage and face yoga videos and asked me
particularly about the lines around our mouth, especially these smile lines. So today I'll tell
you about this massage routine that I do for my mouth lines from our last few years and I've been
really consistent and it has worked for me. I don't know if you can get rid of them to be very
honest, but you can definitely delay the appearance of these lines. Like I've said in my last video
that facial muscles are like our body muscles, like we work our body muscles, we've got to work
our facial muscles also. And there are very easy facial yoga exercises that you can do that can
Face massages and exercises have many benefits. Anyone can benefit from fewer lines and wrinkles,
a firmer jawline, improved skin tone, plus reduced headaches and eye strain, easing of tension and
best of all a healthy glow. 10 minutes of daily face exercise targeting the lip and mouth area
help to prevent wrinkles. It works the hypodermis, the lower layer of the skin, the dermis, middle
layer and the epidermis, upper layer, increasing blood circulation and allowing more oxygen and
nourishment to reach cells. So let's start. So I start by hydrating my face with pure rose water
from this brand called Kama. I got mine from India. It's a brand out of India and I love most
of their products, especially this one. And I've been using it for many, many years. I'll leave
the link below so that you can get introduced to this brand. So I spray it on my face. Smells so
good. And I press it and just hydrate my skin before I start massaging it and just wait for
my skin to absorb everything. I usually keep my nails very short. I don't really grow my nails
until unless I'm really shooting for something that requires it to grow my nails. But otherwise
I keep them short. But if you have long nails, you've got to be careful because it can irritate
your skin. After I hydrate my skin, it really feels good and smells good too. I use coconut oil.
Coconut oil is great for dry skin. I have dry skin and I've been using coconut oil for years now.
But I know a lot of you ask me about different kind of oils that we can use for different types
of skin. And I'm soon going to do a video on that and I'll share it on my channel. But for now I'm
using coconut oil from this brand called Teres D'Afrique. I love this coconut oil. It's a brand
out of Africa and I've been using it this particular brand from last two years and I
am absolutely in love with this brand and I'm going to leave the link below. So I take very
very little like a few drops because we are massaging a very small part of our face. I rub it
in my hands first and then I pat it around my mouth area. Also around my nose like this. And
then I'll start my massage. So the first one is, it's very simple. Just circular motions with these
two middle fingers. Circular motions around my mouth. So small circular motions. What it does
it wakes up this area. I usually do 10 times. So five times going down and five times going up.
I can already feel the sensation in this area and now I'll go upwards. So this is the movement and
I do it for 10 times again. You go down to top. One, two. So I do it 10 times. It hardly takes
any time at all. You can do it more if you have more time but I think 10 times are enough.
The third one is again very simple. It's pushing this muscle up. If you touch it you know these
muscles. So if you work these muscles obviously it'll go up and your face will be lifted and these
lines will diminish. So the third is take these two middle fingers again and push slowly.
Again 10 times. It's very easy to find these muscles. Once you start doing it you will
realize where it is. It looks like you're snarling but that works for your face.
I know it looks weird when you're doing these facial exercises but well you can do it in privacy.
Nobody has to see. Of course I'm doing it in front of the camera so the world can see but
well this is how I look without makeup. So 10 times of these and then the last one again very
simple. So we'll work these muscles. We'll go from here around the nose to the temple.
These exercises strengthen the muscles around the mouth and increase the blood flow to the face
which stimulates the production of collagen and will naturally plump up that area.
So what is collagen? Collagen is a protein found in all our tissues. It forms a sort of
mesh that support our skin helping it to stay firm. The experts believe both massage and
exercise can speed up its production in our bodies. So these are simple four exercises. You
can actually end this whole routine by tapping your face so that the whole face is woken up
and you can also apply oil on the entire face and this whole routine.
It feels so good already. So easy to do. It takes hardly three to four minutes every morning
but as I always say be consistent to see any results. I know a lot of you have actually tried
my face yoga and face massage and have seen the results. So try this also and let me know how it
works for you. But try it for at least three months. I suggest at least 90 days. Be consistent
and that's how you see sustainable long-term results. I would love to hear back from you.
If you do any other exercises that has worked for you, please share with me and my tribe. I'm
always here to learn, always here to share with you guys whatever I'm learning. I hope you found
