So many great experiences so far here in the Philippines.
I feel like our trip is just starting too.
I love you mom, dad, if I die, I love you baby.
If this is the end, it's been fun.
Wow, that's a drop.
I can't believe you made me do this.
Welcome to Bohol here in the Philippines.
For the next few days, we're going to show you guys the best of Bohol.
We'll be seeing the iconic chocolate hills,
seeing the smallest primate in the world,
watching an epic sunrise above the clouds,
island hopping on a boat tour,
and jumping off the tallest rope swing in the world.
We're traveling with our friends Eric and Sarah for this Philippines series.
So if you guys haven't checked out their channel, definitely go check it out.
We arrived here from Siquijor on a 2.5 hour ferry.
The tickets were only 700 pesos a person.
And you guys, this ride was so much smoother than the ferry that we took to Siquijor.
It was very calm waters.
We passed by all of these beautiful islands.
The scenery was absolutely stunning.
We arrived right as the sun was setting.
Welcome to Bohol.
Thank you, my man. Appreciate the warm welcome.
And then we took a taxi to our resort here, which is called Riders Paradise.
So it's a whole resort, but we rented the house that they have over here.
It's a three bedroom house with full kitchen, bathrooms, the whole thing.
So they have a bunch of little cabins on this side.
So if you didn't want to stay in the house, you can also rent those.
There's a huge kitchen area in the middle.
There's a pool, there's laundry.
Definitely been a little oasis here.
And the staff is really, really incredible doing absolutely everything for us.
Amazing staff. Thank you guys for everything you do.
But right now it is time to start our road trip.
So let's go.
Our first stop was the Tarsier Sanctuary,
which was a 50 minute drive from our hotel on Panglao Island.
If you guys missed our last video, you know that our microphone is broken.
Unfortunately, that is still the case for some of this video.
So let me set the scene for you here.
The sanctuary opens every day at 830 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.
It costs 150 pesos a person to get in.
Tarsiers are the smallest primates in the world and are only found in Southeast Asia.
They are nocturnal animals, so they are pretty sedentary during the day.
So it's very easy to spot them napping.
The tour starts with a short video that teaches you about the Tarsiers and the sanctuary.
Then a guide leads you out into the jungle.
There's no talking during the tour,
which is great to be able to hear all of the surrounding nature.
We saw three different Tarsiers,
and they are the cutest little big eyed monkeys that you will ever see.
After the tour, I had to buy a cute little key chain with a Tarsier on it for only 50 pesos,
which gives back to the foundation and is going to make a great ornament for a Christmas tree.
This is me telling you about my favorite part of the tour,
which was watching the Tarsiers attempting to stay awake as we walked by
because they're just so curious about us.
But they're so drowsy that their eyes can barely stay open
and they look like little drunk monkeys with their eyes half closed.
They were so sleepy and adorable.
Our next stop was an hour and a half drive northeast
through some spectacular scenery and the beautiful chocolate hills.
We just made it to Danao Adventure Park.
They have tons of adrenaline activities here you can do,
like zip lining.
There's like a bike rope you can go across the canyon on.
Hamster wheel.
But the thing we're here for is called the plunge.
I'm super nervous about this.
As you guys know, I hate heights.
It is.
Why are we here?
It's the world's highest canyon swing.
200 meters high.
Are you doing it?
No.
Absolutely not.
I could not be convinced into this with you guys.
I watched a video.
I'm not convinced.
I'm going to do it.
My stomach dropped.
We're going to go check it out and see.
Eric and Tommy were like, oh yeah, we're going to do that.
They're all big talk.
So we came over here and we'll see who does it.
We're definitely going to do the zip lining and some other fun things.
But yeah, we're here to do the plunge and that's what we're going to do.
Or that's what I keep telling myself.
Okay.
Hello.
What's the best thing to do?
The plunge.
Is it?
That's why we're here.
Almost everything is $350, but the plunge is $700.
So about $14.
I feel like this is a bad idea to look first.
This is terrifying.
The main attraction, the plunge.
Have you done it?
Yeah.
Was it fun?
Yeah.
Don't lie to me.
No.
Scary?
Yeah.
Before, right?
Yeah.
What's your name?
Dongjun.
Where are you from?
South Korea.
South Korea?
Nice, man.
The plunge.
How was that?
Was it scary?
Scary.
Crazy, brother.
Well done, man.
Oh my gosh.
Are you going to do it?
Come on.
I don't think so.
I mean, it looks pretty epic, but.
Good job.
You did it.
Yeah.
How was it?
Very nice.
Yeah?
It seems like you died for 10 seconds.
Oh my gosh.
Wow.
Well, well done.
I'm impressed.
Good job.
Okay.
That really sweet South Korea couple talked me into it.
It is so steep, you guys.
I'm so nervous.
I'm already shaking a little bit.
You only live once, right?
Let's go.
You got this.
Gotta get jacked up.
The point of no return.
No refunds, they said.
Have you guys done it?
Yeah.
I'm very scared.
Me too.
You want to mix them?
Oh, no, sir.
Fight.
I'm too scared.
Walk in the plank.
You got this, baby.
I love you, mom, dad, if I die.
I love you, baby.
I love you.
This is the end.
It's been fun.
It's not.
Yeah.
By doing great.
Sorry.
It's tight.
Tight?
You're supposed to say they're tight.
No.
I'm excited.
Sure.
Okay.
Wow, that's a drop.
That is a drop.
Okay, are you ready?
Oh, sure.
Okay, three, two, one.
Bounce away.
Woo.
That was crazy.
That was so fun.
Oh.
Oh, so fun, man.
I want to go again now.
Thank you, my man.
Thanks for making me feel as comfortable as possible.
Next up, the next victim.
Oh, dude, that's so fun.
That is insane.
No, you'll love it.
I'm so nervous.
Dude, you'll love it so much.
It's so worth it.
How was that?
Tell us your experience.
So amazing.
The free fall is like nothing you've ever experienced.
It feels like a long time, but it's like eight seconds of pure freedom.
I love you.
Bring it in.
Wow.
Bring it in, baby.
This is so fun.
Mwah.
Well done, brother.
Wow, it was so fun watching him go.
I kind of want to go one more time.
So many great experiences so far here in the Philippines.
I feel like our trip's just starting, too.
Overcoming your fears.
Yeah.
Fear of heights, we're just smashing that out of the air.
Guys, why did you make me do that?
Come on.
You enjoyed it.
I did enjoy it.
That was really fun.
Well done, brother.
Thanks, man.
Wow.
You killed it, man.
You killed it.
I still can't believe you made me do this.
So worth it.
You made me do this.
Thank you so much, you guys.
Have a good day.
Enjoy.
Thank you.
Appreciate it.
That's right.
All over.
What was your name?
My name?
Yeah.
Asha.
Nice to meet you.
That's a pretty name.
Hey, there's no line for the zip line.
Hand them Superman.
Here we go.
This was $3.50 a person.
Hey, how awesome was that, huh?
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, wait.
That was so much scarier than I thought it was going to be.
Just being all cool and chill.
And then I was like, oh, God.
That was awesome.
Thank you, guys.
We appreciate it.
That was fun.
I like that.
Bombs away.
Wasn't it?
Oh, that was so fun.
Good afternoon.
Good.
How are you guys doing?
Good.
Thank you, guys.
Thank you.
It was so great.
Yeah?
Yeah.
So much fun.
Good work.
I'm so happy that we got to do something, Sammy.
I know.
That was good.
I feel proud.
I feel like a loser for not doing the plunge.
Yeah, exactly.
We did something.
No.
Okay.
No more ride for you.
No more.
That's plenty.
No more.
Thank you so much.
Oh, thank you, guys.
Thanks for being so sweet.
Thank you, sir.
Hey, you guys do the same.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
Nice to meet you.
People working here are incredible as well.
Everybody's super friendly.
They're like, oh, you have to do it.
You have to do it.
It's a great, great hype team.
Yeah, they are.
So much fun.
Great staff.
They all deserve a race.
Yes.
We've been driving a lot.
We haven't eaten since breakfast, so it is time to go get some food.
Yeah, I'm ready.
And some celebratory beers.
So after leaving the adventure park, we are starving and thirsty.
We just found this little shop called Max.
Hopefully, they have some food and a couple of beers to celebrate.
A Belgian Ripple burger.
Whoa.
So they didn't serve beer in the restaurant, so we're trying this little shop to get some
cold beer.
It's a local hangout.
What's up, brother?
How you doing, man?
Yeah, just one.
Just one.
Thank you.
That's big.
Oh, yeah.
Perfect.
And how much is it, man?
One.
One, thank you.
I'm so excited for this.
This is like the best beer here.
I feel like we deserve a beer after.
We absolutely deserve a beer.
Especially a comically large size one such as this.
Oh, yeah.
All right, we came prepared.
We have provided.
So we ordered a burger and fries for $250.
So it's a pretty great little town we're at.
We just ordered our burgers, which Sam, we told you guys, was super affordable.
Mine was $0.50 for a burger.
And we're finding some water because we're super thirsty.
And this little store has very affordable water and little packets, which is super cute.
We got a family party going over here.
We have the live music right here.
Let's join.
Yeah, always.
Yeah.
What are you drinking?
Yeah, I want a shot.
Good vibes here today.
You want a song?
I want to hear the best song.
Yeah, I want to hear the best song.
You guys all listen.
I'm not like what you think.
I'm not handsome.
I don't have a lot of money.
And I can't give you my heart.
So please don't chase me.
Because I'm not a fat boy.
Oh, oh.
My eyes are rolling.
I'm so happy.
I immediately chatted with you.
So you can see that we're friends.
It's going to happen soon.
But I'm just shy.
When I said my feelings, I said I like you.
I didn't say anything else.
But you just smiled.
But you only have rumors that are not true.
Maybe you'll be fooled.
Because you're a liar.
Please let me be.
Because I'm not like what you think.
I'm not handsome.
I don't have a lot of money.
And I can't give you my heart.
So please don't chase me.
Because I'm not a fat boy.
Oh, oh.
Oh, for sure.
I'm Yolo.
Yolo.
I love that, man.
That's awesome.
I'm JB.
JB.
Nice to meet you guys.
It's...
Let's call it a bar.
Bar.
This is McCoy.
McCoy.
Thanks for sharing.
No, we appreciate.
Thank you. I got the Belgian waffle burger. It was the most expensive item on the menu,
coming in at a hundred pesos. Am I saying that I ate two of them? This is her second one.
You're taking such a small bite. Take a real bite if you normally do.
We all know what a normal bite looks like. Come on, let's do it. This isn't the Sammy
we all know and love. I know. Don't pretend like you're civilized, not an electoral beast.
Everybody always knows that when we take the biggest bites.
So those kids are super sweet. So we went to the store real quick to buy them another bottle of
rum and some Tang so they can make some more drinks because they let us try it. It was really
good. So we found the store and found the rum. So we're going to go deliver that to them real
quick. How old are you? Three thirty. Three thirty. Can you break that? What was your name?
Julianne. Julianne, help me out. I appreciate it. Here's your change, sir. Okay. I really
appreciate that. Have a good evening. Thank you. Okay. Mission accomplished. I got some Tang too.
Is this the right kind? Yeah. Memories here. Yeah, exactly. Goodbye. Goodbye. Can you just
mix it? Just those two? You want to see how to mix? Yeah, I want to see. Put a little bit of water
a little bit. Then open faster. Faster. Please. Faster. Bite a little bit. Okay. Just a little
bit. Not a lot. Don't eat it. It's poisonous. You don't recommend. How old is everybody?
Twenty. Eighteen of us. We're old enough. Okay, cool. Just making sure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That looks awesome. You're like doing science now.
Science experiment. You guys learned this in school, huh? No, no, no, no.
We're learning the street.
Oh, that's a nice sound. Yeah.
This is magic tricks now, huh?
So why do you keep lighting it? We lessen the alcohol. Lessen the alcohol.
Oh, that was awesome.
Dude, that's a process. I love that. Thanks for sharing. That's sweet. And it's ready.
Sweet, brother. Thank you. After all that, you got to try it, right?
That's delicious. These guys are pros. Hit me again. No, no, later, later. Thank you guys so
much. Thank you. Of course, man. Enjoy. Thank you guys for sharing. Thank you guys. Thank you. See
you. This is our place for tonight. It's called Cape Sky. Check out this view. This is our room
for the night. Me and Sammy are going to be on the ground. How much was this place, bro?
$3,000 for one night. For all of us. For all four of us. Yeah, that's right. And why are we here?
$60. Oh, because we're going to have a really, really nice view in the morning. Hopefully,
this is supposed to be a cloud inversion that comes down below the peaks of all the hills.
And I mean, I don't really want to give it away completely, but it's supposed to be amazing.
Hell yeah, man. We're excited. This is sick. Hopefully, we'll get our cloud inversion.
We will. The smell is just like straight, like foresty nature, like so fresh. I love it. It's so
nice. We had so many great moments with locals. It was really hard to make our boho trip into one
video. We hope you guys can join us next week where we wake up to the beautiful cloud inversion,
well, one of us does. And we also see the stunning chocolate hills and go on an island
hopping tour. Thank you guys so much for watching. We love y'all and we'll see y'all in the next one.
