PARADISE in BOHOL! Staying in Traditional Filipino Style Resort with NIPA HUTS! (Bellevue, Panglao)

[Music] okay i'm gonna open my little goodie bags now we've got a flower to put in our hair you can put it in your hair now your hair is long enough we've got a tarzia on a key ring it's so sweet look at this love it and a little name card a little welcome card then they've also provided some alcohol gel and some face masks and a little pouch 20 21 traveling and all these are dry bags oh one's really broken and it's full of paint from cinelog this is super handy so we've got dry lag we've got a little necklace i'm going to put it all on aren't i something i would do i look like i work in a resort don't know with a flower on my hair in this then a nice dry bag as well that's so handy and then a massive flower for my other ear go down to lunch hello speaking of lunch you want to have lunch now shall we is this a good look guys comment below what you think of this look but here we are welcome to behold so we are walking to lunch now i kind of feel like talking quietly because this resort i mean sadly there aren't many customers here right now we haven't seen another guest yet but we haven't been around yet so we'll see but wow we've got some friends here though these are the guests hello hello hello so i think i'll have that one um which one do you want i don't want any of it get some rice going i think i think grilled with garlic oh are these not oh sorry okay i'm not meant to say things like that so we have a queen's gambit chessboard here as well but we are gonna head now to the restaurant which is the other side of this kind of lobby area that we're in right now i love house really nice fusion of like a nice luxury resort but also it's very traditional feeling because there's like a neighborhood you have your food and then look here there's a little like a fishing oh yeah wow we can take this for a ride later well they've all i think people will normally feed them when they come here right maybe you can feed them they've we've definitely got their attention okay let's stop teasing them i think that's quite mean so there is a little bit of a sea breeze today which is cooling us down gonna head for lunch this is where we were our room our room is somewhere up there but this is the view we've got look at this blue sky for a second look at this blue sky this is the restaurant this is where we're gonna have lunch i think we'll take the long way have a little stroll and this pretty much leads right onto the beach wow i'm happy we're starting to come on these trips which is amazing but then it's kind of bittersweet because a lot of our friends have planned to come to the philippines last year some of our family had planned to come to the philippines last year and they're with us now we would love other than the vlogs which they can watch we would love to be showing them this country in person because it's just so stunning yeah look at the water over here in the sky okay we need land we're getting distracted by the views we'll show you around properly very soon that's good yeah [Music] thank you it's always the first thing we need to get hold of when we get to an island fresh buco it's not the same in manila so we've got to make the most out of it here yeah and they're always oh it's actually quite cold already i was gonna say they're normally warm because they've come straight from the tree yes okay the steak has arrived i've just started to cut into it oh my god incredibly soft cooked medium oh lucy it's juicy wow perfectly cooked beautiful tenderloin steak wow delicious steak so juicy the food's good here we've had some vegetables had the chicken in the salad got mashed potatoes with the steak pretty diverse menu you'll see it as we vlog here and vlog some of our meals but we've got a lot of filipino food which we're going to try and then some other things like pizza salad sandwiches there is a burger do need to try the burger at some point so lucy has chicken in a sauce with rice calamansi yeah so nice yeah we forgot to film me i haven't actually eaten anything today and it's 1pm so i didn't actually film it before eating it so it doesn't look as nice now but it's really really good really nice tasty barbecued flavor nice and charred around the edges i could eat about three of those i think now me too [Music] so we've just got back to the room thrown on our swimming stuff i think we're gonna head into the hot tub in a second something i've noticed in this resort and i'm pretty sure i'm right i haven't seen any plastic i haven't seen the the straws with the book i were paper and even the bin next to the toilet is actually made from newspaper instead of it being like a plastic bag and there's no like throw away like bits of plastic or anything so that's obviously very good for the environment and the i was trying to explain to george a second ago the resort feels it doesn't feel like a chain at all it feels very individual and it feels really friendly it's incredibly welcoming and i was trying to explain earlier like how it feels high-end it feels luxurious but it it's also got the very traditional touches as well so it's like kind of there's two sides to it and together it comes together as being very welcoming and it feels like a very happy place and i think we're gonna have a really really nice time here over the next few days we finished our lunch and they offered us some fruit and they said they could send it up to the room so they're gonna do that in a second i think so hopefully they'll arrive in a second with some fruit for us which is super nice already feeling very relaxed guys we've just been delivered some fresh fruit to the room so i'm going to go out here the jacuzzi is still filling but we are ignore my hair by the way looks really weird but we can enjoy some fresh fruits right now oh if my legs stretch that far in pure luxury ah we also have some coffees on the way but check this out fresh watermelon fresh pineapple with this incredible view in front of us [Music] okay sorry to uh end that b-roll abruptly but lucy i think you should maybe turn the bubbles off there's um yeah quite quite a lot of bubbles going on here oh you just ate bubbles great flowers are just like in the middle of the bubbles now how nice though so nice and guys this is in our room oh yeah this is private it's so nice [Music] okay we've been in the room for around an hour getting the vlog edited for tonight and we've now come down to the beach area for the first time there's another there's a big step there there's another one of these fishing boats here as well like i was saying earlier right in front of these ginormous can you still put it in the heart if it's that big that is the biggest i've ever seen it's awesome it looks so so nice and we're coming off a little beach area now look at it really nice i would think we might get a bit of a sunset it's kind of around the corner slightly but i don't know i think we want to angle it we will it's going to be nice yeah you're going to sit here yeah we'll sit up here i think we should get a drink yeah maybe another little snack it's too sunny i need to go under here hang on whoever the first person was to put chicken and peanut butter together that guy's a genius oh girl oh girl whoever did it if anyone knows who first put those together those two flavors let me know because i want to personally thank them for chicken satay delicious chicken satay by the pool we've got the mountains in the distance it's coming up for made a joke sunset chicken atte oh yeah what was that again it was like two years ago we came up with some joke about chicken atta instead of satay oh yeah no we were coming up with like filipino names for food and stuff pinoy collada pinot colada what else well lucy lucy just said i apparently had a little bit of chicken in my beard so i was like chicken in a bed chicken in a sauna i don't know we're losing the plot this is what happens if we relax too much we got up too early we get silly true we've been up since 5am but we've got some pizza the pizza is good here chicken satay is very good we've also got i've got a mango shake lucy's got banana shake we don't need that much fruit normally at home we normally more vegetable people yeah a lot of sugar and fruit but yeah we're enjoying the island fruits a lot you have to take the take advantage when you hear of the fresh fruits if you've got any more pinoy style foods as in like play on words play on words comment below let's see if we can find the best one in the comments i'm trying to think of
