Look guys, £2 strawberries, oh you're so cute, and the temperature is absolutely perfect
at the moment, my gosh, stunning.
Here we are, reunited with Singapore gals, take London Town.
Back in the UK, back in the English countryside, my happy place, and I'm so happy to be back
for summer, I told you guys I've been waiting for this for a long time, this is the reason
why I just love it here in summer so so much.
The leaves are on the trees, the trees are so green, the temperature is absolutely perfect
at the moment, it's around 21 degrees, which means that you can actually go out and enjoy
the day, you can go for walks and not sweat to death like we do in Singapore, you can
come here and have a little picnic.
Look at this view, my gosh, stunning.
We've actually just had the Jubilee weekend here in the UK, so there's lots of festivities
going on and I'll show you some of the houses on the way out of here because lots of places
have like bunting up, so in the UK we have stuff called bunting, which is like a decoration
with all the Union Jack flags on it and I don't know, the country just feels very patriotic
at this time.
So yes, currently on a walk with my family, I'm also vlogging, Instagram storying and
I'm taking photos on a new secret, well it's not so secret anymore, I'm basically testing
out a prototype film camera for a potential House of Pandya release, which I'm very excited
about, so yeah I've got this bad boy with me and I'm just playing around with it, but
yeah, just taking a lovely little walk through the countryside.
Like I mentioned before, I am going to be here throughout the summer, so do be sure
to subscribe to my channel if you want to follow along with what I'm up to over here
and also do go follow me on Instagram, at The Vintage Vision, I'll be posting there
are my stories every single day if you want to see what I'm getting up to.
So yes, let's continue walking.
The sky as well, it's just stunning and there's my family over there.
I'm the loser struggling behind.
This is what I've been waiting for, these lush green trees that we get here in UK summer.
The best thing about these countryside walks is that you are constantly stumbling upon
new things, things you haven't seen before.
Just spotted some horses and some sheep, there's always lots of really pretty wildlife
around and it's just very nice.
The reason I love being out here in the countryside is that it's just so tranquil and quiet.
If you guys can hear, there's literally no noise, no noise pollution, all you can hear
is the wind and I think after living in Singapore for so long, especially when I lived in the
city, you get so used to hearing, obviously any city, you get so used to city sounds and
constant construction and so it's just so lovely to be able to come here for the summer
and experience something else.
Lots of flies around.
I'm also battling hay fever, which I totally forgot about.
If you guys know what hay fever is in the UK, most of us suffer from something called
hay fever in spring, summer, something to do with pollen.
We get very irritated noses and eyes and lots of us have to take antihistamine for it because
it can get really bad.
Don't get it in Singapore for some reason, it just doesn't exist, but when I come home
I have to remind myself that hay fever is a thing.
I've dropped them all in my bag.
You like blueberries?
I'll have another one of them.
I'm scared.
Oh, you want one as well?
Okay.
Oh, you're so cute.
Want another one?
I want a goat.
Okay, one more.
It's so cute.
See what I mean about randomly coming across nature?
I did not think that I'd make friends with a goat today and be feeding it blueberries.
But there you go, you always stumble across different wildlife.
And the hay fever has begun.
I'm sniffling.
My nose is itchy.
Hay fever is officially here.
Here we are, reunited, the Singapore gals.
Take London Town.
We've come to, where are we?
Cafe Tamera.
Cafe Tamera in Clapham Junction.
We've got some incredible brunch.
I've gone for the breakfast quesadilla.
We've got sweet potato fries.
What did you get Soph?
I got the courgette fritter.
Gluten free.
Gluten free, obvs.
Because I'm celiac.
Which is great fun.
Shout out to all the celiacs.
Celiac gang.
We got some iced coffees.
And yeah, we just sat outside on this beautiful English day in June.
Let's check in.
Rarity Shop, which is our version of thrifting.
Our thrift shops are very different to Americans.
They're very small and tiny, but I have just found an absolute bargain.
I've just got a pair of Lululemon yoga pants for £5.
So, yes, I got these Lululemon pants.
They're my size and £5.
Absolute bargain.
Right, madam, we've just found this incredible crop top.
It's so cute.
How much is it?
I don't know actually.
£4.50.
What absolute steal.
It fits so well.
Yeah, I love it.
Get it, get it, get it.
Sorry, unheard of.
65p avocados.
Especially in M&S.
Wow, what a bargain.
Look guys, £2 strawberries.
Actually, to be fair, that's quite expensive.
Normally they're only like a pound.
£2.10.
£4.25 for this.
A punnet.
£3.
I don't think we need that many.
Just made the most awful coffee.
My brother has been making coffee with the coffee pot.
And he showed me how to do it once.
And he's not home at the moment.
And I just made it and it was awful.
So, I'm going to need a bit more practice on that.
Just made myself a delicious bacon and halloumi bap.
I have this thing where I always come home back to the UK
and end up eating my body weight in bacon sandwiches.
And it's really not a good idea.
So, I need to cut back on the bacon sandwiches.
But they're just so good.
I just can't resist them when I'm here.
Just wanted to let you know that I will be back to regular scheduling now.
Uploading a video once a week.
Thank you for bearing with me.
I always take a couple of weeks to adjust when I come home.
I kind of just want to be in the moment and enjoy it with my family.
And now I'm going to be back to work.
I can't wait to share with you guys some content from here.
Because the weather right now is glorious.
And it just makes me very excited to film.
Also, please do leave your suggestions and comments down below
with what kind of content you want to see whilst I'm here in the UK.
Whether it's cost of living or grocery shopping or what I eat in a day.
Those kind of things.
Please do let me know what you want to see so that I have some ideas.
But yeah, I'm going to end it here.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
Remember to like and subscribe as always.
And I will see you very soon in another vlog.
Bye guys.
