Copa America 2024 | Group C : Panama - USA

The United States was the favorite in Group C second matchday Thursday June 27 2024 Here he was going to change many things in the game the expulsion of Weá for an irresponsible silly unnecessary and harmful punch to his team The referee showed him a yellow card first but the VAR said no it's not a yellow it's a punch to the head of an opponent without the ball aggression a red card there it is Nothing to complain about absolutely nothing thoroughly expelled Weá He will have to apologize to his teammates probably this expulsion cost the United States the game A United States team that was nevertheless going to gain an advantage with this goal by Folarin Balogun from Monaco Where did Balogun put it Unreachable out of reach for Mosquera and with one less the USA took the lead but their joy wouldn't last long Another goal post and in because four minutes later Carrasquilla was going to appear Blackman's first shot was blocked and the second one hit the post also unattainable for Turner who later got injured was replaced by Horvath and it was a tie for Paramá A good move by Blackman first with his right leg and then with his weak leg he didn't have to adjust to take another right-footed shot We would go to the showers the second half began Paramá kept insisting the United States held on nothing was scoring a goal He was getting frustrated with the ball movement from one side to the other until we finally asked Murillo to move up he did and Fajardo found himself appearing as a goal-scoring forward There and that finish wasn't easy because the ball had already bounced ending up beating Horvath for a 2-1 final the winning goal and a huge victory over the most bitter rival in the CONCACAF region And then this incredible incredible thing that Carrasquilla was doing you can't believe it you can't believe what Carrasquilla was doing look at the kick he took completely unnecessary and reckless Another who will have to apologize to his teammates because it could have cost him the draw against Panama which nevertheless took the victory
