In this video we look at the new Amex White Gold card and the new 100k bonus that you can get, don't settle for 60k, 100k is the way. “The content in this video is accurate as of the posting date. Some of the offers may no longer be available.”

Hey credit warriors, welcome to the show. And yes, the new Amex gold card is indeed now live with the
new benefits that were leaked out about a week ago. If you want to see a deep dive on all of
those new benefits, you can check out this video on my channel. So we were 100% right. Okay, this
video describes them as rumors, but it is all 100% correct in there. And so I'll put that one on the
end screen of this video for you to check out. But one of the most exciting things about the new
Amex gold card is the new color. Okay, limited edition white gold. We've had the African American
Express. Oh my god, is that a black card? I turned around and replied, why yes, but I prefer the term
African American Express. Now we have the Caucasian gold card. Maybe Eminem will rap about it. So
how do you get the new white gold color? Well, if you don't have the card and you are applying for
the first time, you will be able to choose either the regular gold card, the rose gold card or the
new limited edition white gold at signup. The current welcome bonus, by the way, is 60,000
Amex points plus 20% back on dining up to $100. But like you saw in the title of this video, that
is not the only bonus out there. So if you use all of the usual tricks like clearing the cookies on
your browser, incognito mode, or using a brand new browser that you've never used before, you can
get targeted with some higher offers. I was able to find a 90,000 point offer plus 20% back on
dining using the Ganjing world browser, which is probably one you've never heard of. But hey,
just search for a browser you've never used before. I was also able to find the 90,000 point
offer using my phone's browser and doctor of credit shared a screenshot of a 100,000 point
bonus plus the 20% on dining that they found through a similar method. That one seems to be
the highest one out there. And they're all for spending $6,000 in your first six months. So
that's $1,000 per month. And they are limited time offers ending on November 6, 2024. So don't apply
with the 60,000 points and the 20% until you have exhausted all other channels where you may get a
higher bonus. If I see anything good showing on my referral links, or if I have any other links that I
provide you with to get you those offers, I'll paste that down below too. Alright, so that is
what you can get for new card members. But what about existing card members? Obviously, you can't
get the bonus. But if you just want to change your card design to the new limited edition white gold,
well, here is how you do that. Log into your account, you can see my gold card here, okay,
still rose gold at this point, then go to the account services section, and then to card
management and pick change card design, then you will be able to pick from a selection of normal
card rose gold or white gold. Confirm your address and you should be good to go. But for me, since I
did it first thing this morning when it had just come out, and I guess Amex's systems were probably
overwhelmed, or maybe they use CrowdStrike in their website, I don't know. But it didn't work. So I
ended up going through the chat instead. And just to let you know that that is an option,
if you encounter difficulty, just go through the chat. I tried to ask for it to be expedited.
But they said, unfortunately, it cannot be. However, the card still will arrive on August
2, which is actually pretty early, in my opinion, it's only eight days away. And when we get the
card, naturally, we will do an unboxing video for you. Also, for the new benefits, they are now live
and current card members as well as new card members will need to activate them in the benefits
section of the website. So make sure you activate both the new resi credit and the new Dunkin Donuts
credit. And if you are a new card member, make sure to activate those and the dining credit as
well. Also for the adjustment to the dining credit Milk Bar and Shake Shack will be leaving the
dining credit on September 26 2024. So you have two or even three more months that you can use
the $10 monthly credit there if you didn't use it in July yet. The annual fee has gone up for new
card members. But for existing card holders, you have until October 1 2024 before that new annual
fee will hit. So if you just renewed your card, or if it's renewing like this month or next month
or in September, you'll actually get the old annual fee. But existing card members like you've
seen on my account, all the new benefits are already active. And I'm not sure how well you
can see this, but it is showing in my online account already as the new white gold design.
Alright, that is the show for today. Don't forget if you want a deep dive into all the new benefits
versus the new $325 annual fee to figure out if the card is worth it for you. Do check out this
video on screen now. If I have a referral link with a good bonus, it'll be in the links below.
There's also a link down there to sign up for Rakuten the shopping portal where you can earn
either cashback or Amex points on top of what you earn on your credit card on some of your
favorite stores. It works great if you have Amex cards and you can get either $30 cashback or
3000 Amex points whatever you choose to redeem as when you sign up and use it for the first time too.
Please subscribe if you're new and we'll see you in the next video. Bye bye.
