1000 consecutive sit-ups. No breaks. Enjoy :)
Hello everyone, I'm about to do 1,000 consecutive sit-ups.
I've never done more than 200 consecutive sit-ups, so this will be interesting. I don't even know
how long it's going to take. I don't know if it'll take an hour or three hours. This is something new
for me, so you'll be as new to it as I am, and I'm just gonna hunker down here and hopefully
knock it up until I have completed 1,000 reps. So here we go. Okay, so I'll be doing it on this mat,
this sticky up mat. I got some chickpea, protein chickpeas for snacks, some water, some cream for
sore muscles, and then my computer. I will be Netflixing, chilling while doing the sit-ups.
So there's not much else to say. I will start soon. Okay, the time is 10 24 in the morning,
and I will be starting right now. Here goes, I'm about to 50 down, which is nice, but
to think I have 950 more to go, it's a little bit of a scary thought.
So I'll start recording now, and I'll get back to you when I'm at least past 100.
That is 100 down in nine minutes. So at this rate, it'll take an hour and a half,
but it'll probably slow down after a couple hundred, so we'll see how long it takes. But
feeling pretty good after 100, no damage yet, so just keep it going.
That is 250, one fourth of the way there,
being 20-ish minutes. It's going better than I thought, surprisingly. So I'll see.
The first 250 is going to be the easy part, so it really only, I'd say, starts getting tough
around now. I'm all the way up to 500, so I don't know. I'll probably be in extreme pain in
another hour, but for now, I'm doing good.
It feels right.
It's all right, it's all right, it's all right.
That was 400, so what, 600 more to go, but it has been half an hour, so 400 in half an hour.
So at that rate, I should finish in an hour 15 or so. So I'm getting along, doing well.
I'll see you in a couple hundred.
It's 500, halfway there. It's been just over half an hour. Been pretty good so far. No
extreme pain or soreness or anything, so I'm just going to keep going out, getting that done.
At this point, my neck is really starting to tense up, repetitive movement,
so a little cold beanbag thing here to wrap around the neck feels pretty good.
That was 600, starting to get tough though. My neck is really starting to tense up,
and the abs are starting to feel it, but 60% of the way there, so not too much further.
That is 700. It's been 40, 45 minutes.
700, that is at least double what I've ever done. It's pretty crazy what you can do if you
just try, but it's funny. My abs actually are feeling pretty good.
It's not anything bad. I got over a hump at 250, and after that, it hasn't been any extreme
discomfort or anything, but I'm getting physically dizzy going up and down,
and I'm getting a headache. I don't know if that's from the sit-ups or just not drinking
enough water, but my abs are feeling the best out of my situation right now.
Only 300 left, but I'll just keep going. Should finish up by 1145 if I keep going at this pace.
800, so 200 to go. I'm going to eat something fresh.
That was 900. 100 left, but really, my abs are pretty fine. There's nothing wrong there.
But then, my neck is tight and just itching, and I'm feeling really dizzy. It's going up and down.
I get a nauseous feeling. I think it's just the repetitiveness of it is getting to me,
but it's only 100 left. It has been one hour and 10 minutes, so 100 left. I should
finish up in the next 10 minutes, hopefully, but we'll see. We'll see how it goes.
This is the final stretch. Nearly there. Somehow, nearly there.
950. 50 left. I'm going to go as fast as I can. No breaks. Here we go.
Oh my God. Okay. That was 1,000 sit-ups.
That's pretty crazy. I honestly didn't know if I could do it or at least do it without
substantial breaks in between because really, I've never done a quarter of this amount
consecutive, but somehow, I did it. This shows really if you put your mind to something,
you can do it. I was really surprised actually because you'd think doing 1,000 sit-ups,
your abs would be on fire the whole time, but really past 200, 300, my abs were fine.
There's obviously a little soreness, but it's really nothing bad. It's just my neck and
I'm so dizzy right now. I don't even know if I counted those last 30. I did a couple extra at
the end just to make sure, but it's like I just went on a roller coaster and went around a bunch
of circles 1,000 times, but I got through it. That was the video. Thank you guys for watching.
