Arsenal vs Leverkusen 4-2 - All Goals & Highlights - 2024

Roman Berkey and the starting 11 for the MLS All-Stars. What a season Roman Berkey has had for St. Louis City SC. The former Dortmund keeper coming over to the United States for this season and has led an expansion team to the top of the West End. Now starts against Arsenal for the MLS All-Stars in the 2023 All-Star Game. League soccer and Arsenal Football Club, the All-Stars. Alvaro Barial coming forward. Barial wins the first for FC Cincinnati this year. Now a corner for the MLS All-Stars. Glessas tried to flick it on, makes it towards Ricky. If he's not involved. Saka into space, Barial chasing. Trossar in the middle and Keptya as well makes its way to Jesus. Chipping it to the back post. What a fantastic team goal this is from Arsenal. But it all starts from Jorginho who is press resistant because his technique is fantastic in tight areas. The ability to find the right pass in the right moment. Saka makes the perfect run to now stretch the back line. And it's an All-Star. Put on a show. Gabriel Jesus did exactly that. I mean it's just absolutely disgusting the finish. But give credit to Saka because he keeps that play alive. And I would take it even one step further than Jorginho. The composure that Gabriel showed. And Keptya bringing it down. Vieira was there. Ricky Pooch slides it to Benteke. And the touch lets him down. Luciano Acosta just scooping it into the box. Bawanga knocking it back. What a wonderful goal. Lines in Keptya. Gets it back. Oh, and Keptya. Right in that six-yard box in front of Berkey. Berkey the punch away. Saka tried to play it back. It might be at times at Nashville I think. Bawanga was trying to chip Ramsdale. I won't say it's easy to come into a league. But you come into a league. Ricky Pooch now. Ricky Pooch. Really. Asking some questions of Arsenal in their build-up. Over the last 16 months. Barrio. For Arsenal. Benteke the defensive header. Saka knocks it back in. Benteke on it again. Emelas was trying to get off and running. He might be able to now with those. Saka spinning away from Barrio. Sliding it. Trossar. For Arsenal. Leandro Trossar doubles the lead. It's 2-0. And listen, we can't give this man, Bukayo Saka, enough credit. We've talked about his age. We've talked about his intelligence. Well, we see his full capabilities on display on this play here. He checks back first to create that little bit of space in behind. But then he has a composure here. His head is always up. He sees his options, Taylor. And it's a good ball across. Trossar does well. Get it back on his stronger right foot. And then just picks that one out. Just a brilliant combination. Pace, skill, control. But patience in the final third. Trossar is putting on a show exactly where he loves to operate. In between the lines. Howling said defending for Emelas. Trossar again. He's got plenty of time. Serves it to the back post. And wide. Wonderful opportunity for a second for Gabriel Jesus. Trossar is just putting on an absolute clinic. Body position, turns, technique, the ability to open up the game for your teammates. Then to come back here. Over to Luciano Acosta. And too far in this country. Ramsdale caught a little bit and sends it out for a corner. Oh, and by the way, this excitement is before he's even walked onto the pitch yet. Right. So can you imagine how things are going to get amplified even more when Friday comes? Lionel Messi's donning that number 10. And we get a final opportunity for some of these guys. Oh, makes it a right. Howling's head. And it's one World Cup and the other hasn't. Almada's hitting this. It is Almada indeed. And it's not far away. Jesus Ferreira comes forward for Emelas. Has heel. And Espinosa arriving. It's Carlos Hill. Just continue to do the same thing. Espinosa settles. Trossar to his left. And Kecha keeping it himself. He's pushed down from behind. It will be Trossar. Oh, and it's just wide. Knuckling. The technique. Listen, Sasha Klesh is at the desk, right? He will claim that he's got that in his bag. And to be fair to him, I've seen him hit it like that a couple times. But the technique to just get caught on this back post, he's got to be careful here. Trossar said he's going to click this to the back post. Another run here from Gabriel Jesus. Just gets into a dangerous area. Then a little bit of unfortunate from Tim Parker. But referee Ted Unkle. Tyler Miller waits. And then sending Tyler Miller. A little bit the wrong way. Frozen. And it's 3-0 for Arsenal. Two minutes into the second half. It just freezes you as any goalkeeper, right? That little hop right before he takes it. All he looks for is any kind of freeze. What a tough time this is for Tim Parker. You come into the game in 13 seconds. After rejuvenation of your career at St. Louis City, he's been a huge part of their early success. Ball off Martinelli. Floating it. Vieira. Leaves it for White. John Gallaher. Ben White heading forward. Jesus to his left. Slides it to Jesus. Touch around Miasga. Miasga recovers. Expectations. And now we get a glimpse. Now in Arsenal. Corner goes to the back post. Miller the punch. Fouled for Arsenal. Martinelli coming forward. Trying to get around Schwannier. A league that's obviously very athletic. It seems like. As El Rayon sends Budegard. Tries to get it through to Havertz. Ferreira trying to find Jordan Morris. Budegard. Parker there. Budegard. Marquinhos. Havertz unable to handle it. And then over from Martin. He had. For Lawson. Legal. Well, what's best for him, Taylor? Oh, what a call. A lot of room for Martinelli. Miasga backtracking. Martinelli might be in. Martinelli scores for Arsenal. Ready to go. An impressive showing tonight. In the MLS All-Star game. To think at 15 from Norway. Real Madrid paid a little more than 4 million. For Odegaard. And he struggled. Is what everyone told me. And yet at 24. He's been named captain of Arsenal. And I think Arteta has unlocked. What this player right here. Can really be. Captain's armband. But the technical ability. The vision. And what a fantastic calm finish. From Martinelli. But give me that ball 10 out of 10 times. From Odegaard. The vision. The technique. Exquisite. This is why Arsenal win the league next year. Now. ile. We'll. Comme des. So when we use it, it will be less harmful to our hair. So I want to tell you to use it when you have dark circles because it really saves a lot.
