Traveling 25 HOURS to Dubai with a baby

We're going to Dubai! Okay guys, we are so excited because we haven't done a big trip like this as a family. Since our honeymoon. Or even just in general. Well, we went to Europe together for your- Oh true. But I was pregnant. So Skye technically did come. This is Skye's first big trip. First trip out of the country. We have a lot of flights to catch. The first one is we are going to Seattle and then we have a- Is it a 16-hour flight? You guys are going to come travel with us, see the way we're traveling. We are- With a baby! And we're going to explain why we're going to Dubai and what's going down. Let's go. The hardest part of leaving is saying goodbye to little Topper. I wish we could take you everywhere with us. Goodbye, baby. Topper, you be good for Aunt Fiz, okay? Loading her up. She's ready to go. All right, Josh, you'll be loading up the Uber. You gotta start the time. Full effect. I'm gonna start the time in the car. Now this is airport dad in full effect right here. And the timer has started. My airport dad was kicking in in the car. I almost recorded a second ago and I was gonna be like, oh wow, Josh should be in airport dad mode. I'm not that much of an airport dad, it's just- No, he's not. It's just I feel like every, you know- Our flight takes off at 10.55 and it's like 9.15 right now. Our Uber driver was probably going 20 under the sun. Which is better than speeding, I guess. Better safe than sorry. Security check. I feel like when you travel with a kid and then when you go to travel by yourself, it makes traveling so easy, you know? Oh, I agree. This is like, obviously she's really easy to travel with, but it's like you gotta bring all her stuff. Somehow, on my reservation, they had me as a child as well, so. He does love his cake pops. You just always travel with your man child. I do. The disrespect right now from Katie B is so real. I mean, to call me an airport dad, we're at our gate 10 minutes before we board. That is what I call perfect timing. That's not airport dad. You ready, Skyway? Oh yeah. Katie B is feeding a wild chomp right now. The best is the little hand that comes out of the chimpanzee. Sometimes she'll just grab my face, or she'll literally like just grab random things. You just see like this little fingers come up. She's got 24-7 entertainment with little Sky. She will not let go of the bag. Look, now she wants the camera. What are you doing, girl? She loves this thing. She won't let go of it. Look. All right, we're boarding. We're boarding. We're boarding our first flight. Let's go. Okay, so we are in our seats right now, which is so weird being in business or first class, like because normally it's like we're cramped. Yeah, we're not used to being up front, but for this trip, we did get to go in business class, in first class, so that's really, really exciting. So first class, I don't know if this is called considering. We have like 50 hours of travel. With a baby on our lap. Yeah, that would have been hard, but I mean manageable, but we're just really excited and grateful because look how much leg room. We're about to take off. We're going to do our family tradition. You know, we always hold hands. I don't know if you do this cringe, but now I say a prayer in my head. Okay, first flight is done. Skye actually was really good on it, but now we're in the family bathroom. We're going to change Skye and then we have a three-hour layover, so we're just going to be hanging out here for a little bit. Are you guys wearing the lounge right now? What's total travel time? We really do feel bougie because we always see these like lounges and we're never a part of any of them because well, you know, we're just normally not. We're just not. We're just not cool enough, but this time. What's total travel time, tell us. Total travel time is six hours and 38 minutes a day. Hey, you're going to get us kicked out. I'm trying to convince Josh to do a TikTok with me. I just want to let you guys know, all the TikToks that you guys see, it's because of me. It's because of me. Shh, Josh doesn't like doing them in public and I'm like, it's okay. We got to send it. That's all we got to do. I'm making him like kind of dance here. No, what Josh doesn't like is Katie watches these dance videos all day, every day. Knows them perfectly, practices them and then like I never see it and then like puts me on the spot. It's like, yo, let's film this real quick. I'm like, I don't know how to do that. But I'm going to figure it out. You guys see, head to our TikTok, go watch it. If you follow any influencers in the wild account, we'll probably be on there very soon for that TikTok that we just had to do because we're like, wait, we should show them our moves. That's a lot of work. We got to show them. Okay, Josh wants me to show you guys the setup because this is what we did for the TikTok because I didn't have a tripod and it wasn't high enough on the table. So I placed the phone right here. Um, are we kidding? Like she's innovative or something. I'm so innovative. All right, guys, we're going to show you what we just did. Back her up. Oh my God. These were the moves. We did this. Oh, it's getting warm in here though. You know, after the dance, Josh is like, okay, that's enough. Guys, they hooked us up on this flight too because they gave Skye her own seat. Oh yeah. Are you vibing? We got a seat for little Miss Skye in the center, which is going to make nap time a lot easier. It's going to be interesting. We'll see. Excuse me, miss. Would you like anything to drink? Would you like anything? Any water? Milk on the tap? Okay, so we're just chilling right now. We boarded early and Skye is definitely very tired, but you're not supposed to eat that. But she's just playing on her seat, which is nice. Are you having fun down there? She doesn't know how to act. But to be honest, neither do we. Yo, so doing TikTok in public might have paid today because someone that worked for Emirates actually came up to us and like, oh, you do TikTok, super nice guy. It was like, you guys are JD Vlogs, right? And then like, it was really sweet and they gave us an extra seat for Skye. So now Skye has her own little area, which is nice for when we like, go to like, put her to bed because like, she sleeps on us. If we move, then we wake her up. Then it's like a whole nother mission to put her back down. So it was really super nice. I feel like I'm still going to end up going to Skye to be honest, but we'll see. Emirates is so bougie. I just got my own. Do I do a little unboxing? Okay guys, today we're going to do a what's in my bag. Let's see what we got. Ooh, we got shampoo, conditioner, a brush, a toothbrush. Is this deodorant? Deodorant, okay. Literally all the necessities that you'll need, all in here. All right guys, so I'm over here feeding Skye and they hand us like, warm towelettes and Josh leans over and goes, he's like, what do I do with this? I was like, I think it's for your hands, I don't know. It's nice though. It's nice. Yoo-hoo. Guys, we literally are acting like kids. I got her to bed and we're about to take off and then she's going to be awake for a few hours and then we're going to get her back down to bed. There she is. She's got a little sleep mask. Look at you, look at you. Okay, so we have about, got some bread. Good job. You did so good. I'm so proud of you, you did so good. Oh yeah. She was so good on this flight, but we made it. We're in Dubai and we're super excited. We have dinner tonight. It's 6 p.m. right now. We're going to keep vlogging until the day's done and we're going to show you guys the hotel room too. Let's go. And time. Honestly, okay. I was going to say, honestly, we probably got here about an hour earlier, but we had to wait for our room to be like fully ready. So we went and got dinner. We didn't vlog it, but we made it. I look a little rough. You did so good, Sky. Man, we're so proud of you. She's excited to be in Dubai. We'll show you guys the room tomorrow, but I do want to show you guys just a little setup that the hotel did for us, which I think is so cute. How freaking cute is this setup? We have a crib for Sky and look at the bed. It's so cute. It's like a little honeymoon for us. A honeymoon with a little honeymoon crusher. All right, JD fam.
