(Laliga 2024/2025): Highlights VILLARREAL - ATLÉTICO MADRID

And Ilhas as well, picked up a medal for Morocco, a bronze medal. A fantastic summer of football, Jadon Hernandez as well, the under-19 European. Decision to go with him or just stay and then make space for Soto. And Danjouma's got there first. Hasn't quite got in front, but he's still got the ball. He's feeding, he's scored! Well, what a way to mark your return. Danjouma scores, Villarreal take the lead. The loanee back at the Ceramica and back in style. Well, he may not be here by the end of the month. So much talk about Atletico Madrid having had the best chance of the game now that, before that goal, now find themselves behind. How will they respond? Llorente. Llorente goes for goal and scores! Well, a brilliant response from Atletico Madrid. Llorente's whipped over a couple of crosses in the first 90 minutes of this game. On that occasion he thought, you know what, maybe I'm just going to hit this. And he nearly took the roof of the net off. Diego Conde has beaten Llorente. Have a great break on here, it's three against three. Gerard Moreno, Jeremy Pieno, Jeremy Pieno, Danjouma! And off of Witzel. Well, that was a fantastic opportunity. It comes back out to Alex Beiner, back into the area. The goalkeeper's missed it, he's been turned across his own line by Koke and Villarreal are back in front. The captain puts through his own net. Chaos in the six yard box for Atletico Madrid. Oblak may be at fault, we'll have a look at the replay in a moment. But it's Villarreal 2, Atletico Madrid 1. Llorente into Barrios, he's up against... Cross comes in, there's a chance for Scholl and he's scored! Well, there's no celebration. Well, a little bit. He sticks the finger up, the forefinger, to celebrate the fourth goal of the game and the second time Atletico Madrid have levelled. The whistle's all around the ground. Let's see what he can do up against Jano. Oblak strikes it well and... I think some dream start in an Atletico shirt. Iozzi's going to come on for Villarreal to take it. And he goes for the top corner, it comes off the crossbar. Back into play. He gets there ahead of Femener, rolls it back to Barrios. Barrios clips that one well wide in the end, despite the dive. Satisfied with a point from the game? Absolutely, I'm sure that they are satisfied being the first one with alternatives, options for goal. Good actions tactically in the first half, extraordinary in the second one.
