the only thing I could find out about
this place was again it's like a
Tropical Paradise out
here there's a door at the end there's
some sort of
opening can you push it hang
on did you push it no I that's a Stein
pop
wow look at this bridge this is really
cool like this it's almost the Stillness
of it with the sound of the Rushing
Water does give you a completely
different
perspective underneath a bridge like
this and the span makes across the
canyon it is beautiful
absolutely
and it does kind of sit right into the
Blends in when you're down here I think
also the color yeah because they've
painted it green same color as the
surroundings pretty
unique how these steps have been carved
out into the Lim Limestone no sandin
down again it's like a Tropical Paradise
down

[Music]
here look at uh how the waters cared out
all the
holes oh wow incredible it's in
here so this is all natural spring
water this is very just really beautiful
it is it's like a Tropical Paradise
you're
right yeah and the other thing I really
like about these is all the tree routes
that go through the trail that we walk
over it's really neat
so this must uh have been the pump house
cuz this is all still part of the resort
yeah looks like I see a hot water heater
up there under the
stairs so they used to heat the water
and pump it down
and as far as I'm aware there should be
a little surprise just pasted here okay
so pump for like hot tubs yep so I read
that there's this used to be a hot tub
underneath the waterfall oh I can see
the pool where it is now Isn't that cool
that is
really that is something and then the
hot water pumps out and goes in
there boy this is like boot Leer's cabin
cabin definitely so cool all this oh
what do we got
here
looks like there's a little that goes in
a
bit you want to try to check it out yeah
all right I'm going to take the backpack
[Music]
off all
right I'll try to go first just
to
all right it's not too bad there's a
door at the end there's some sort of
opening oh yeah go up go up to the
opening oh I might need
your need you to get up here with the
light so I can hang on I just trod in a
load of mud this is filthy I'm going to
get filthy oh hang a little bit hang on
I'm a bit stuck here grab the to
can you see yeah I can see I'm just
trying not to get muddy holy
crap I mean I'm little I could do this
being a little bit little actually cuz
this is fairly dry here need 5' 3 and
1/2 and that half an inch is really
important as you
know oh that's dry yeah I kind of dry up
in
here oh this is exciting where it Le
this is pretty neat
okay I'm right behind you all right here
we go there is there's a door that is it
is a door but it feels like it's is it
blocked it feels like it's
blocked can you push it hang
on did you push it no I that's a
star oh my God what
[Music]
the have we
what is going on in
[Music]
here it's like a little hobbit hoog it
is am I going
to hey I made it
through it's very very
[Music]
attractive
how can I stand up yep just a couple
steps steps
forward look at that oh
wow what is this
place looks like it just was a a pump
room I
guess doesn't really go much
further we should have bought a big
plastic bag with us we could have taken
the rubbish out
yeah it's quite a bit but this is a cool
spot back here I bet people will come in
here and do rumpy pumpy
hang on I'll turn the camera
off love that this place just keeps
going on and on and I don't know how it
it was 13 acres uh the
original resort was 13 acres I don't
know how many hot tubs yeah I mean
they're not true it's not like it's a
hot spring they had to heat the water in
a hot water heater hot water heater
piped it to the
locations
and then of course rumor has it that in
the 70s or ' 80s hippies took over the
area oh I don't know whether theying
about
true look at
that the way the water just spills over
and creates these little caves is you is
there good way to get
down
uh
good
look at this place this is
amazing I think we should stop here and
yeah CU it's getting it's getting kind
of hot so uh where's your
backpack you left it up
there I'll be
[Music]
back
[Music]
you got
it
sorry it was still
there okay so what I think we should
do is walk through
now I've been told that there were three
hot tubs there might have been more but
I know of three
okay I'm going
to take this off now too it's
getting do you want me to carry it so we
don't lose it I'll remember
it
jeez I mean act like a
forget act like I forget everything all
the
time so this must also get quite High
the water
levels right this is pretty cool almost
looks like
a that must be another hot tub m MH it
is look you can see all the
pipes they just been filled in with the
water rushing down over it no I think
that's been deliberately filled in
hasn't it think can stand that could be
like a
shower okay I don't think we can get any
further no I think that's the end of the
road
there yeah cuz this is too deep
[Music]
it's really
[Music]
[Applause]
pretty
[Music]
it's the only thing I could find out
about this place was John and Mary Raj
now John was a Welsh coal miner he
bought 13 acres back in
1921 and then built the resort in
1925 there was a hotel there was a
petrol station and there was also some
cabins but apart from that I can't find
out when he sold
it or what happened to him or what
happened to the
resort
