What a Flash Flood Nearly Destroyed

I mean the road we've been on we've been following what was the actual road we are the only footprints on this I mean it's still going to be cool to see cuz somebody lived here somebody did live here okay I think this is one of the worst cabins I have ever [Music] seen once again deep in the heart of the desert and believe it or not it may not look like it but we are standing at the junction of two roads I guess more aptly what used to be two roads which then now continues up that way to a surprise so we've had to ditch dto a ways back yeah and we don't even know how far the surprise is we're just going to hike it I've downloaded a I've actually my my phone's just gone into service but I did download uh an offline map so we're just uh following that so we'll have to see and away we go and there we have it so we've come all this way for that a tiny cabin well like I said with this road being completely washed out we even looked over this way into the wash yeah that's how much the wash and it's just look at the amount of Devastation in that we only seen some footprints in the wash I mean the road we've been on we've been following what was the actual road we are the only footprints on this and the wash has washed out even more of the road yeah I don't can't even see where the road is actually in here yeah I just see like some animal footprints there might be human Footprints in there too yeah looks like there's a couple boots so we'll uh clamber over see if we can make our way to the front door here's another look that was also part of the road that's totally gone now Andrea just stepped back on the road you can see just across the way where it ended that's it so a huge flood massive massive massive flooding I don't think this cabin is going to get much use from now on but but to be quite honest I don't think it was worth the effort yeah cuz that's a throw around the termit cabin this is like a little Shack I mean it's still going to be cool to see cuz somebody lived here somebody did live here there's the spring you can see the the group of trees so that's uh that's the spring coming up from the ground this is where they got their water from yeah very peaceful and there it is let's look inside oh Yak oh wow that's uh pretty disgusting yeah and I mean there's rodent poop and Wei and and it's all fresh you can see it's still has dried so this is where we have to be very very careful and then when we get back to the car disinfect everything yep okay I think this is one of the worst volunteer cabins I have ever seen yeah it's in pretty bad shape and it actually says welcome to this cabin we hope you enjoy your stay there's absolutely no way in a million years would I stay in here oh you couldn't you'd need to definitely antivirus antivirus so this is where the log books are oh 2021 Sunday March 7th so when was the hurricane or the wash that um I'm going to put our card in there I think it was last year wasn't it or the year before we got a magazine here or a graay sporting journal from 2021 yeah 2021 Wild Bill 1978 good on your bill and this is cool though the old cantens and then pots look at the rust and everything on them I look at the old kettles JS and the uh that's a is that a spatoon or is that a p is that a potty I think that's just a pot it could be used as a potty afterwards old ladder up there I mean again it is neat because somebody did live here was eing out of life way out here trying to find somewhere to put the card let's clip it to those ones there we go nice okay long journey back to tea yeah just how we found you [Music] [Music] let [Music] [Music]
