Forgotten in the Arizona Desert - Abandoned Border Ranch

roof's pretty much [Music] gone yeah cuz it' be bizarre to have a lookout tower around [Music] here think that this could be where this is weird cuz it's actually underneath the crazy [Music] Paving so we got a little tiny trailer here it's not that tiny actually it's yeah it's longer than I [Applause] thought [Music] so what do you think would this be like Ranch hands quarters possibly not going in there though lots of wrap poop big time the tiles are all messed up you don't know what's hiding under this a lot of water damage the ceil ceiling yeah look at the ceiling cute little sink and then there's a bedroom through the back yeah and a huge fridge huh cool next stop look at this little suitcase oh [Music] wow so what do you think this is this one there's a huge water tank close by maybe a spot to put tractors or hay so maybe a a grain barn or a Feed Barn possibly I think a Feed Barn roof's pretty much gone now are these these are all Railway sidings aren't they these are railroad ties and they put Railway sidings you know what I meant yeah well railroad tires so yeah and outside you've got the Corral and you've got feed yeah F in with concrete now yeah would have been water and feet out here out back perfect place to they got electricity I'm looking around for a date but I haven't seen anything now this curious little structure with all this piping around the outside this might have been the pump house it had a uh stove electricity huh home for rats now sure is so this is just the Corral I found a date May 14th 1971 so I don't know a lot about this place it was a ranch obviously right abandoned believe in around the 2015 mhm dates back well that date said 71 yeah so it dates back a lot longer than [Music] that polka do building this is really strange the theme continues all the way through to these oh they party favors what are those I wonder if this was they made this into like a Wendy house cuz you've got the paint spots all inside and on the floor right either that or somebody came in afterwards with a bunch of time on their hand and extra paint but it is really solidly built like all the brick work and everything this is definitely a newer addition to the ranch not part of the original structures no it is still older and now this over here gosh just a a catch all okay there's the polka dot house and you can see there's a bunch of wooden remains over there and this cement pad which leads to this I think that this could be where they fixed Motor Vehicles or tractors or their trucks possibly so they could get underneath just for the simple fact that it's it's in a was definitely a building was here you got all the foundations mhm that's my thought anyway so another feed store or shop tack yeah tack yeah again the roof is completely just most of us laying on the ground yeah I don't know what this room is this is an add-on this was the main uh the main wall mhm this bit here is an add-on completely different building technique I wonder what this Tower would have been I'm not sure if that was just a play pen for the kids I thought at one point it could have been like a a swimming pool jump off all right yeah cuz it'd be bizarre to have a lookout tower around here unless he would walk up there and look out over the cattle that we're Grazing In This areas May that ladder doesn't belong there I don't think it does all right first entrance we come to we're going to be going into the kitchen and the floors actually looking to be pretty decent shape yeah main it's a Main Kitchen yeah traditional Farmhouse kitchen and then you had like a little dining area at the end yep I see that rock wall in the distance that's cool that's the fire place that's pretty cool bizarre drop ceiling in here lots of wrap hoop oh yeah treading very lightly oh we could have come in that way oh well so yeah I think the dining room would have been been here adjacent to the kitchen looking out onto the garden and then this would have been their main living area look at that fireplace and they've got rooms or like corridors down either side right lots of window l and a lot of light patio right let's go down this left side first so seating area no washer washer dryer yeah so that would have been the laundry bath oh bathroom Corner tub one of those corner shower tubs yeah that's pretty neat oh the toilet's off the but none of it is busted the toilet's not shattered neither is the tub or the Basin yeah it's pretty clean in here really as well maybe this would be a mud room that's uh a possibility yeah cuz it it just connects to the the the toilet and everything so take off your yeah and this has got yeah this is a bit of a bizarre layout yeah this must have been some sort of bedroom though cuz there's a little uh wardrobe in the corner closet yeah and then from the bedroom they've even got a doorway onto a massive [Music] patio all the windows are on this side letting all the light from this nice covered patio the whole yard and there's that other bedroom we walk past we'll have to go back inside and check this side out yeah it's kind of skimming through the perimeter so they had sliding doors here patio doors no remnants of them whatsoever so let's just do so this is the main living area with the fire place this must have been this must have been another bedroom yeah this is that other bedroom and a closet this must have been a nice hot room back down the hallway into the living room again it is a really really bizarre layout so you got two bedrooms through there another small hallway that's air conditioning the swamp cooler there yeah and this would be a main bathroom and wardrobe like an on Suite m that that is bizarre and the other thing that's all the ceiling tiles that are smashed up in here and pieces of drywall uh where they where did they come from cuz that's that's ceiling in the bathroom in in here is all intact well I wonder if this would have been another bedroom in here like the master and that would have been kind of like beond Suite yep so this is the master suite yeah I would that's what I would say yeah I would [Music] agree and we're outside just to show the scale of the yard and it's completely enclosed with that stone fencing it's just massive it's really cool isn't it it is they said the house has a bizarre layout oh hello Tanto and you got the washing poles here right the other one and then there's another outdoor fire pit which is on this side of the house mind you it's got kind of like a wraparound porch yeah and I guess so these were the bedrooms and the right like the mud room area yeah oh watch out for the lip on there the laundry room and then the kitchen and then you've got right the outdoor well you would also think it kind of makes sense that you've got the barbecue over here by the kitchen but what doesn't make sense about that is there's no no door yeah you would think there would be the sliding glass door over here to leave the kitchen to get out to this barbecue this is weird cuz it's actually underneath the crazy Paving we call this crazy Paving in England very hip in the 60s apparently and then you got all this I guess this is copper but it makes it really pretty yeah I wonder if it makes the food taste better too there you go a little outdoor fire pit could double as a grill very neat [Music] a [Music]
