so what are we uh going to check
out it's
[Music]
mystery a young lad discovered this in
1880 and then in
1933 an archaeologist by the name of
Frank
hibbon took a look at it and he thought
it was
genuine
but that's I won so has anybody
actually decoded this and knows what it
says no I have no
[Music]
idea
[Music]
so most of our favorite things we always
find at the end of these kind of dirt
roads so what do we uh going to check
out it's mystery
literally okay I'm
[Music]
intrigued
[Music]
a young had discovered this in 1880 and
then in
1933 an archaeologist by the name of
Frank
hibbon he took a look at it and he
thought it was
[Music]
genuine
[Music]
not far to go all right surprised at
how warm it is can hear the train yeah
oh wow it stopped look at the
train
yeah it's uh it has got
[Music]
hot
this looks like the end of the road so
here it
is I don't uh the mystery Stone so this
is the mystery Stone but it is also
known as the decalog stone and the
Commandment Rock oh somebody's poured
some sort of oil over it it looks like
but here it
is and you can see the top line has been
graffitied out
yeah for what purpose I
wonder because they're mentally
am I allowed to say
that but that's I so has anybody
actually decoded this and knows what it
says no they have no idea they think it
could be something to do with Ten
Commandments
um there's loads of theories behind it
they don't even know whether or not it's
genuine some archaeologists say it is
some people say it isn't right it's kind
of like America and Earth I'm always
looking for like the hooked the hooked x
x and I know it's not but some of it
kind of also reminds me of like Russian
like this word right
here well they say
Hebrew right from right to left and I
was was chatting to a gentleman earlier
and he was saying if it's Hebrew they
wouldn't write
up uphill so to speak so what his theory
is is that The Rock was up at this angle
and they wrote and over the Millennia
it's collapsed unfortunately this is
still showing yeah well that makes sense
cuz you look up this Ravine and you can
kind of see you know the Rocks looks
like you know you know water would have
come tumbling down so this the way
everything's kind
of well said
they estimate one archaeology
archaeologist estimates it between 500
and 2,000 years old but another theory
is that Solomon when he was sending out
his people to spread the gospel spread
the word that this could have been
possibly a river and the ship came up
the river and one of Solomon's people
came up and carved this who
knows anything's possible and that's why
it's called the mystery
