Welcome back to my channel, I am so excited for today's video.
We are going to be making 7 different easy and healthy breakfasts that you can try.
I am a breakfast girl through and through and I'm the type of person that wakes up and
is hungry.
But, I feel like a lot of people wake up and are in a rush getting out the door and then
they say they don't have time for breakfast, so for this video I'm gonna keep all of the
recipes that we make under 10 minutes, if not under 5 minutes to save you time, to help
you nourish yourself, to help you eat healthy in your day to day lives, and to also help
you spice up your morning.
I'm also gonna make sure that all of the recipes that I create in this video are balanced with
protein, fiber, and with healthy fats.
The key to balanced hormones, to balanced energy levels, and to supporting your body
and to staying nourished and energized.
So let's get started, today is Wednesday and I am actually going to a workout at noon,
which is a little bit different for me because I tend to wake up and work out, so usually
I'll wake up, I'll have a banana and an espresso and then I'll go do my workout and when I
come back I'll have a bigger breakfast.
But because today I'm working out later, my routine has just been a little bit different.
I'm still eating breakfast, I'm still nourishing my body and I'm so excited for day 1, so let's
go.
I'm actually gonna grab my phone so I can set the timer and we can see how long this
is gonna take.
Alright, so for today's breakfast I'm gonna be making a yogurt parfait.
I went to this really amazing coffee shop in the West Village this past weekend called
Saint Jardin or Saint Jardin and it was so freaking delicious.
They made the best yogurt parfait of my life and I recreated it the day after, literally.
Super easy, we're gonna do yogurt for protein, chia seeds for fiber, as well as granola and
berries and then we're gonna add a little bit of almond butter as well for some healthy
fats.
There's also some healthy fats in chia seeds.
For my berries, I'm doing strawberries, blackberries and then I'm also gonna cut up a bit of an
apple.
One thing that saves you a lot of time is just having your berries already cleaned,
so I basically just take my berries and I soak them in water with white vinegar and
then I rinse them and I lay them all to dry and then I just throw them and they're ready
to eat and clean.
Let's dive in.
I set a timer for five minutes.
Let's see if I can do this under that time.
Ready?
Let's go.
Starting out with half a cup of Chobani Greek yogurt, spread it around, now I'm gonna cut
my apple.
I'm gonna take half of the apple.
This part I'm gonna cut into like little thin slices, trim the edge, also cut this in half.
We're also gonna cut the strawberries, just trim the edge of it and then I slice the strawberries.
Three strawberries.
Strawberries are in there, handful of blackberries as well.
Take the chia seeds, one tablespoon, throw them in there, granola, also a large handful.
Ah!
Ten seconds.
Now we grab the almond butter, small tablespoon of almond butter and we're done with 12 seconds.
To spare!
Woohoo!
We did it!
So pretty.
La la la.
Looks so good.
Okay, breakfast is ready.
As you guys saw, it was so quick and we got all the goods.
I'm gonna give you guys a close up shot of it.
Yum!
Mmmm!
Taste test.
Good scoop with apple, granola, chia seeds, yogurt, everything.
Mmmm!
I've sat down to eat and my little routine has become to eat my breakfast and while I
eat, I fill out my little manifestation magnet journal, which is a five minute journal that
I created with my friend Sloane.
I just thought I'd share this because it's really cute.
So when Sloane and I created this journal, basically on the top of every page, we have
a quote for the day and the quote today says, I don't have to chase extraordinary moments
to find happiness.
It's right in front of me if I'm paying attention and practicing gratitude.
Hello my beautiful friends.
It is now 10.30ish p.m.
I'm going to meal prep my breakfast for tomorrow, so that'll be breakfast number two.
I am meeting a friend for matcha at 9.45 a.m. and I also want to go on a run, so I know
I will not have a lot of time in the morning to make myself breakfast.
So I'm going to meal prep some overnight oats.
I haven't had overnight oats in a while, so I'm super excited and we're gonna make it
protein oats for those extra gains.
We're gonna get started.
I'm gonna set the timer, so let's do it.
We only got five minutes to save the world.
Forget that reference, you're the best.
Our protein powder, oats, chia seeds, peanut butter, and then I'm also using these little
measuring cups.
And I almost forgot, but we're also using coconut milk.
Half a cup, whoops, one fourth cup, another fourth cup, a scoop of it, chia seeds, adding
one tablespoon.
Mmm, that's such a creamy peanut butter.
Pretty much one tablespoon.
A little bit less than a cup of coconut milk.
Now we're gonna cover this up, gonna carefully shake that up, and it's ready!
With one minute, 20 seconds to spare.
I'm gonna put this in the fridge.
So, this just goes to show that it's worth it to prepare breakfast for yourself because
it takes literally no time.
And do it for your future self, your future self will thank you.
My future self will thank me.
So I will see you tomorrow in the morning, in the a.m., after my run, for toppings and
to eat this delicious overnight oats, overnight protein oats.
Today was a little 40 minute recovery run, so I ran like four miles in a little bit,
and it was great.
And my future self, aka myself right now, is grateful for Carolina from last night for
prepping overnight oats, because I'm meeting my friend in 15 minutes downstairs to go get
matcha.
I'm not gonna have time to like make myself a crazy breakfast, so let's go get the overnight
oats and let's go enjoy it.
Ooh!
Wow, it's thick.
Yum!
Oh my goodness, this looks amazing.
Mm.
You guys, this is so good.
Oh my god.
Mm!
This is like perfect on its own, but I wanna add just a little something on top of it.
You'll see.
Pop it with a couple of strawberries, I'm just gonna cut these up, and a little bit
of yogurt.
Got my strawberries.
When I'm lazy, I just cut them on top of the lid.
We got our oats, we're gonna layer these on here, and put them really cutely for the video.
And now we're just gonna add some of the yogurt.
I'm gonna top it up with just a little bit of cinnamon.
Oh my goodness, this looks fire!
Guys, it's time for the official taste test.
Mm!
Mm, mm, mm.
It's so good.
Oh my god.
As always, we're going to eat while we do our five-minute journal.
Good morning, my beautiful friends.
Today is Friday!
And what time is it?
It's breakfast time, baby!
This is a really good, healthy breakfast that you can have.
I'd say if you have a little bit more time, because it's not so much on-the-go as, for
example, the overnight oats, but it's still delicious.
So today we're going to be making toast two ways.
I went to Whole Foods yesterday, and I picked up some sourdough bread, and then on one half
of the toast, I'm gonna do a savory toast with avocado and eggs, and then another half
of the toast, we're gonna do probably almond butter with a little bit of bananas or berries
or something like that, and like cinnamon.
It's gonna be so good.
Every time I have this breakfast, I'm like, why do I not make this every single day?
I feel like this one's gonna go a little bit over, but we shall see.
Let's go.
How pretty is this?
And I'm just gonna cut a fat, good piece of bread.
Now we toast this baby up.
Bread number one.
In the toaster we go.
It's time to make our eggs.
There's something about making your scrambled eggs with butter instead of olive oil that
just is honestly superior, so we're gonna go with, it's kind of a lot of butter, but
we deserve to eat butter.
Using the Trader Joe's pasteurized eggs, we're gonna do two eggs.
A little half for extra protein is just adding a little bit of egg whites.
Just kind of mix it up straight in the pan, picking it up from the sides a little bit.
Looking yummy.
Timer is just going off, there's four seconds left.
This breakfast I would say is more like a ten minute breakfast than a five minute.
I'm gonna just now set a stopwatch just to see how long it's gonna take me for the rest.
Now we're gonna plate everything up.
I got my toast.
Praying that this avocado's good.
Just like take off the top part of it, like this, like the nasty part on top.
I'm gonna take like a big scoop of this, like one large like tablespoon.
I'm gonna put it in one of the toasts.
Almond butter for the other toast.
Boom, okay.
Taking a banana.
The camera's not properly focusing and then I'm losing time on my timer.
The banana coins on top of this toast.
I'm gonna add a little bit of cinnamon.
And then on the avocado toast I'm gonna put hot honey.
Just a small drizzle.
Some crushed red pepper flakes.
Just a couple.
Now we're gonna move this over to put our eggs.
Okay, so in ten minutes we were able to craft today's breakfast.
I feel like eating good is just gonna set me up for the day with success.
Let's go do our taste test.
Finished product looks so beautiful, oh my god.
Okay.
There's something about eggs and avocado toast.
It's just like an unmatched combination.
Now it's time for the sweet toast.
Love sweet toast.
Wow, perfect.
Let's go eat.
Good morning.
Today is Saturday and it's a beautiful sunny day.
So I ended up waking up and going on my long run for the week for my half marathon training.
I ended up running six miles.
And it was a really great workout.
I'm feeling kind of lit up by the endorphins.
And now I'm gonna make my breakfast.
This is probably my favorite breakfast.
I mean, I love all the recipes that I'm making throughout this video.
But this recipe has been my favorite in the last month or so.
It's packed with a lot of fiber and a lot of protein.
And because of that it helps me go to the bathroom.
It also helps me hit my protein goals.
And just start off the day feeling fueled and feeling energized.
So what we're gonna make is a little chocolate mousse.
The texture is like absolute perfection.
So let's set our timer and start preparing.
And 1, 2, 3 and we go.
So I'm gonna be using strawberries.
These leftover blackberries and yogurt.
You can use any fruit that you like.
A chocolate protein powder from Be Well by Kelly.
Hot oats.
And we got chia seeds.
You're gonna grab a little bowl.
This is my recent favorite yogurt.
I love any Greek yogurt.
But this specific one is very, very, very creamy.
And it's absolute perfection.
Half of a cup of yogurt.
I'm gonna kind of measure it out.
But you can eyeball it.
Put the yogurt in there.
One scoop of the chocolate protein.
Put it in here.
Just spilled chocolate protein everywhere.
Now this is the part where you gotta trust the process.
Because it's gonna look very powdery at first.
And you just kind of have to mix it around.
Very, very consistently.
You might make a little bit of a mess at first.
But it's fine.
And the protein powder is gonna give the yogurt the best mousse-like consistency.
Now we're gonna take one tablespoon of chia seeds.
And one and a half tablespoon of oats.
Stir it again.
Check it out.
I'm gonna use the leftover blackberries that I have.
Put them right in the middle.
Blackberries.
Do my little trick where I cut them on this.
I'm just gonna cut a few of them.
Ready!
And we got five seconds to spare.
Here's the finished product.
How beautiful.
Stunning!
So good.
It's Sunday morning.
It's 7.57.
And for today's quick and easy breakfast,
we're gonna be making a smoothie.
I haven't made a smoothie in forever.
I feel like it's just funny how we go through phases sometimes.
I've been in smoothie phases where I was just having smoothies non-stop.
And it's definitely one of the quickest and easiest breakfasts ever.
And it's gonna be so good.
Also, apologies if I'm so zen right now.
I went to bed earlier yesterday.
I was so tired and drained, honestly.
So I went to bed at 10.30 and woke up at 7.30 today.
It's Sunday, so I don't know.
It's just my sleep routine is so regularized now
where I'll wake up at the same time.
It doesn't matter if it's Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, whatever.
Ready?
1, 2, 3!
Okay, we got the blender.
A whole banana, frozen.
One scoop of chocolate protein.
One tablespoon of chia seeds.
One tablespoon of almond butter.
This much.
Just like a drizzle of almond milk.
I'm gonna put a little bit of water also.
Okay, now we blend this up.
The timer is about to go off.
We have 20 seconds left.
So I'm just gonna blend this up,
which will be an additional, like, one minute.
Put a little straw.
This is perfect.
Already taste tested it, but it's really good.
Perfect, like, blend of banana, berries,
the yogurt added a really good texture
and, again, probably took, like, 6 to 7 minutes.
I'm gonna go grab my book.
I think I'm just gonna sit and read
and drink my smoothie.
Sounds ideal.
Hi, you guys!
For recipe number 6,
we're going to be doing another meal-prepped recipe.
I'm gonna be making some chia seed pudding.
I love chia seed pudding.
It's so full of fiber.
It's delicious.
All you're gonna need is a little container like this.
So let's get this started.
And it's rolling.
So all you're gonna have to do
is take your container,
get heaping tablespoons of chia seeds,
and put it in the bowl.
We're gonna add 2 3rds cup coconut milk.
Then we're also gonna do 1 tablespoon of the maple syrup.
Combine it really well together.
I've found that these Tupperware containers
that aren't so deep
make for the best type of
container for some chia seed pudding.
You'll have a minute and a half remaining,
so this is the fastest one, probably.
Close this and store it in the fridge overnight.
Good morning!
It's Monday and I'm in such a good mood.
I woke up to a sunny day
and I went on my run
and I went to the gym
and did a little bit of arms as well.
Now I'm back and I'm ready for breakfast.
So we're gonna take the chia seed pudding from the fridge,
add some toppings,
I'm gonna add some Greek yogurt for protein.
Let's go make it.
A little sip of water.
Chia seed pudding!
How cute!
Some blackberries.
Kind of like in a blackberry phase
where I've been loving blackberries so much.
And I'm gonna use this bowl
because I want it to look cute
and so you can see the layers.
Yogurt goes in first,
make it into a full out layer.
This is what it's looking like.
All the layers.
Now we're gonna take a little bit
of creamy peanut butter
and cinnamon.
Okay, let's taste test it.
I'm gonna make sure I grab some of the yogurt
from the bottom.
Oh!
I'm glad about all the recipes that I've made.
This is one of the best for sure.
Hello you guys!
And welcome to the last day of
Easy Healthy Breakfasts.
For today's breakfast we're gonna be doing another little toast combination.
So basically what we're gonna be making
is a cottage cheese toast.
Now I know this one might be a little bit
controversial because there are some people,
I don't know why, that just don't like cottage cheese.
I personally love it and I grew up eating it
and I just enjoy the taste, the texture.
I like how it has a lot of protein in it.
If you don't like cottage cheese you can probably use
ricotta or you can
just make any of the other recipes.
So this is just some extra inspo.
We're gonna be using some sourdough bread. I'm gonna pop this in the toaster
and then we're gonna top it up.
So let's go make it!
And it is on!
I just got back from the gym so
this is gonna be my little post-workout breakfast.
One piece of sourdough bread
and I'm gonna pop it in the toaster.
So in case you haven't noticed, sourdough is my favorite kind of bread.
I'm also gonna have a little bit of fruit on the side.
I'm gonna take some
of the cherry tomatoes
slice them
and then I'm also gonna trim the ends
of some strawberries
and cut them in half.
We're gonna be out of time a little bit
but it's fine.
I ended up burning kind of one side
but it's fine. I'll open the cottage cheese
and we're about to be out of time
so I'm just gonna set a
stopwatch and we'll see how many more minutes
it's gonna take. A few big tablespoons
of the cottage cheese and I'm gonna
pop it in on top of the toast.
I kinda like a lot.
Some everything but the bagel
seasoning
the tomatoes
a little bit of arugula
that's
crunchy
strawberries
put all these blackberries that I have
Wow
7 minutes and 15 seconds
and here's the final result
time for the taste test
I could also add some balsamic vinegar
to this
a little drizzle of olive oil
a little bit
of balsamic
try it again
definitely a must try
oh yeah
gonna eat my fruit too
alright you guys that was everything for today's video
