Secret Cenote in Mexico [Vlog 30] Chucumaltik

Back at the hotel room. Am I ever soaked. Welcome to vlog number 30. I'm in Chiapas, Mexico where I just visited the infamous waterfalls El Chiflon. If you haven't already, go back and watch the last vlog to see this utterly insane waterfall and today I'm headed to an arguably more insane site. Okay about to take off here from Cascada Chiflon is where I am now and I'm gonna head to Chucumatic which is a cenote and apparently gorgeous and then from there I will go up to Comitán. Thank you. Goodbye. Is that Chucumaltic? Yes. Is there a copper? Yes, it's 30 pesos. Okay, perfect. Hello guys. Hello. Is this your dog? Yes. It's 10, right? Yes. Okay, and 30. Thank you. Chucumaltic. That is a cenote. Everybody calls it cenote. It seems like the line between lake and cenote is very thin. I already see the color of the water. I have never in my life seen water this color. Holy ----. Okay, there's a mirador over here. I just remembered that I forgot my bathing suit. Holy hell. Oh my. I have never seen anything like this. I don't know if the camera can see the color. It is literally the most aqua blue I have ever seen. It looks like someone put cotton candy in the water. Can you see how blue that is? No idea where this path goes now. I am so in awe. I have never seen anything like this and then when you look over the cliff it's like mesmerizing. You know what's insane is that so many people are going to that waterfall which is also but it's here. I feel that it's just off the radar a little bit. One of the most magnificent places I've ever seen. I wonder if I was a local. I don't know. I feel like people would experiment jumping from here. I wonder if they do. Obviously I won't on my own. I don't know enough information but I'm blown away. The water is even see-through to this platform over here. But just look at this. I cannot get enough of how cool this lake is. Sonote, Lago, whatever it is. Path goes on. It's very foresty so it's really overgrown which probably means a lot of people don't come here. Oh here's another uppity. So beautiful. So cool. Too cool. It's very overgrown this path. I feel like no one has walked here in a long time. Which way? There are multiple ways. Oh never mind. It's blocked off. I think this might be blocked off too. Oh I wonder. Yes. You know what? This is not gonna go where I want it to go. I don't know where this is going but it's now going way away from the lake and there are these barbed wires here. You can't go back in towards the lake so this must be some local path. Now I just got all these pricker spurs all over. It's a nice little adventure though in the woods. So I'll go to the platform where the tourists go. You know what? Oh no. I thought that was the plant that moves when you touch it. A lizard and a snake. So amazing. Have I said that yet? I don't think I will swim at this one. My swimming streak. It might rain. One of the coolest places I've been. I love it so much. It's literally like a little paradise. That's exactly what it is.
