XAVI SIMONS - BACK IN THE BUNDESLIGA 🫵😄

Powerton, and... Oh, it's spectacular from Xavi! What a magnificent goal from a special player. Xavi, shoot, shout the crowd, Xavi trying to go all the way through. Turns, fires, scores! Xavi scores an absolute marvellous goal. Pass, great control from Xavi. They're through here, Seshko, can he get his first Bundesliga goal or will he lay it off? Oh, he can get his goal! Xavi, the outside of the boot, what a pass. Openda! What a pass this is from Xavi. Magic, another moment of marvellous magic from the Dutchman. Openda, Xavi's there! The opening goal for Leipzig, and it comes courtesy of their new wonderkid. The interesting thing is they're training on an artificial pitch, but I hold the thought because Openda with a chance to make it two. Well, here's Xavi for Hendrik Saw, Openda, it's Openda! Oh, wow. Chance here, played in, Xavi Simons, he can make it five. Neubauer with the save, it's still loose. Simons again! Amazing! Lovely little flick from him. There's Xavi, that's the goal that they were looking for. He's shown how good he is, once again. Xavi, that was dazzling play. Xavi, great vision. Lovely. Xavi is enjoying himself out there, bypass for Openda, lovely turn. Oh, my words. Now the crowd are on their feet as Xavi leads the charge. Baumgartner's there with it, into Baumgartner. How do you stop him when he can play football like this? An eye-catching talent. So fast, so precise. Xavi, chipping it through towards Benjamin Xescu, who's come on, and Nikolas. Speaking of Xavi, his first effort is a good effort. It's brilliant, in fact. That's a young player who is monstered. Xavi, so there we got the shrug off the ball, brilliantly away. Now the options go both ways. Openda, should be three. It's into the arms of Schur. What another lovely break that was. To their strongest eleven, and that's well worked. Xavi running through. This young man has lit up the Bundesliga. Xavi, they've given him a lot of room. This is Xescu, doesn't need much at all.
