Carnival Paradise Live Sail-Away from Tampa! | Sailing under the Skyway Bridge Live!! #skywaybridge

Hello, hello. We just began our sail away and we're starting to move. Yeah, we got some good weather today. No rain, not too terribly hot. So we're going to try to see if we could, um, have the sail away go until the bridge, Skyway Bridge. We're not sure. We shall try. So let us know if you've sailed away from Tampa and how you like it. I mean this is like pretty awesome. We've got the ship back here. It says yeah, American Victory. And we are recording this live for our vlogs. Stay tuned for the vlogs. American Victory because it looks like it's like a self-tour maybe. You can just go on board and check it out. Hey Will, thanks for tuning in, working and listening. Hey, nothing wrong with that. Look at the ship right here. Yeah, we're wondering if you could tour it. Andrea said she thought she saw people on board and maybe touring, but got a nice Tampa skyline right here. Weather is great. No rain. Our last, I think our last sail away or maybe two sail aways ago was all rain, but this one just fine. Yep, nice Tampa skyline. I say it was super easy parking and getting through the terminal here in Tampa. So if you've never cruised out of Tampa and you were interested, uh, everything was so smooth and easy to get through. So, yeah, so far so good. No issues. Yeah, parking right across the street was only $63 for a four day cruise. So for the convenience of being able to just walk right across the street, right onto boarding the ship, I think that was worth it. That was cheap. And we just got a call from a room service right before we left. We found out that our chef's table is actually going to be on the last sea day. So day three is when we'll be able to enjoy it. We'll take you all along with us for that too. Yeah. And we do the year time dining. So I think between five 30 to nine or nine 30, all you have to do is call or reserve a table on the app. And then it just tells you when your table is ready. Super easy. Here, I'll try to turn this around a bit. Yeah. Oh, so we got two channels. We got this big one right here and then separate channel. That's cool. Florida aquarium. Yeah. Let us know if you've sailed out of Tampa. Um, how long until you get to the Skyview bridge? Hopefully, you know, we'll still be able to maintain the live stream. If not, we'll record it and we'll share it on our pages. But I don't see a bridge. So I'm starting to think Andy lied to me that there's actually a bridge we go under. There should be a bridge. But yeah, it looks like we got to go down this way, all the way. And then around the bend and out. Maybe. But we're actually in the serenity area in the back of a ship. So very apt area. There's a hot tub, which I think they say was added last year during the refurbishment. I don't know. But it does now have a hot tub. This old gal is just checking along. We only have one port this trip. It's Cozumel. So that'll be so tomorrow is a sea day. And then the following day is Cozumel. And then another sea day. So I believe that second sea day they captain's table. So that's pretty fun. But Cozumel, we're going, if you've seen previous vlogs before at Cozumel, we're going, walking towards the Royal Caribbean port side. And we're going to have lunch at Snack Bar Mandy. We have some gifts to give to our favorite staff there. And then we may show you a new resort if we're able to get in there. So stay tuned. We will definitely keep you posted on the resort if we get to go there. It is called El Cid. It is walking distance from the port. There goes the secrecy. No, no secret needed. If we go, we go. We're not really positive. But yeah, we'll show you that. We never been. We did get a tour of it back in 2021. An hour. An hour. Okay. We'll be a very long live stream if it does take an hour. But we will see what we can do. No, we're not staying out an hour. You never know. I don't have. I don't have that much to say for an hour. We could take a nap and come back and see the bridge. That's right. Or yeah, I could. Yeah, we have a front facing cabins. I could go there, set up a camera going front. Yeah. Cool. Thanks for joining, Amy. I like this little view here. That way. Oh, and so apparently, yeah, I guess we're going to be doing a turnaround because we're starting to turn and we are going backwards. Thanks, Amy. Yep, it'll be a four day, four day cruise. So we will be back to pick up the pups Monday. So nice, quick little cruise. We'll be back home in time to be able to do a FaceTime with our nephew's birthday. It's going to be the big one five on Monday. So there we go. We get to have a little phone combo and very excited. So we weren't sure from our note, but when we first got into our stateroom cabin, we had decorations. We had goodies. So my sister and her family and my mom and dad as a little late anniversary, we got some goodies. So thanks for all the goodies. We will definitely have, we got four cookies and it's probably supposed to be. Yeah, that's not going to last. We have lanyards. I don't know how to hold this. This way. Got people way over there. This is difficult to hold. I just want it to be level. We're doing a spinnerama. So I'm trying to get the spin, which I usually like to get, get that shot. Yeah, that should be it. Andrea's manning the camera. Yeah, you should see us spinning. Well, I know it's very slow and I guess then we're going out that way. So skybridge is probably that direction. Yeah. Because we kind of did the same thing now that we found Snack Bar Mandy because we've been to Cozumel so many times that we just enjoy grabbing a good lunch. But yeah, so there is a walkable resort in Cozumel, walk to get there. So we're going to try to show you that resort. So that'll be a little different this time. So we're definitely multitasking and trying to get our shots to for the video. Yeah, Andrea, just for one moment. Just trying to get all the shots here for a great weekend, a wonderful trip. Hopefully, yes. It's been a little while, but definitely a smaller ship. And they were saying that the last ship that we were on was Royal Caribbean's Icon. So we were wondering if, I guess they, you can do like a self tour or you can check it out because I did see people on the ship and they look like they had like little pamphlets like they were touring. Yeah, so I wish I just had a mount for the camera so I could just leave it but we don't have that. Oh, Amy, how does the tour work? Is it self-guided or do they tour you around or let us know how that works because it does look very interesting. We would do it. We have one port. We, so we have a sea day tomorrow and then we are, we have a sea day tomorrow and then we're going to Cozumel and that is our only port. So we're gonna have lunch there, check out Snack Bar Mandy, see our friends and maybe check out a new resort. Okay, we're coming down. Oh, back to back on the magic. Oh, nice. That will be fun. Yeah, we definitely like the magic. All right, self-guided. So it's almost kind of like maybe what we did in, what was it, Hawaii when we got to go. Oh, what was it? That was one of the World War II ships in Hawaii, Pearl Harbor that you could go on self-guided. Just take a look around. But we're almost completely swung around, I think. Yeah, here's the victory. Good shot of that. Looks like a fine ship. We're almost swung around here, but not quite the 360 yet. We're almost there. And we see like 14 people on. We also do Disney, Universal, and all other adventures. So check it out. I don't think... It's not too bad. There's like, I think there's 2,100 passengers. It doesn't seem too crowded. There's certain areas that are crowded, but not overly. Yeah, so far, so good. No rain yet. There are clouds, which we do welcome because you watch the sailing way, there's really no shade. Yeah, the weather's been great so far. No rain, no nothing. Oh, so you're fellow Missourians. Awesome. We're thinking of doing a vlog around downtown St. Louis and taking a trip into the arch and letting people see that. Well, except we were worried a few weeks ago when one of the cars got stuck. So I don't know. Maybe we'll wait. Carnival Sensation from there and also the... Oh, nice. We've never been on Yeah, that's one of them that there's still several carnival that we have to get. We're trying to cruise all lines that we can and trying to get as many ships through. We're trying to get as many ships in different lines as well. So yeah, and we do see the Florida Aquarium right during the victory. So I did comment earlier that that looked very nice. We get to try that too. Looks like a lot to do in Tampa. Yeah, and then there's neighboring St. Petersburg with all their nice white sand beaches. I think one day we'll have to take the pops for a little trip over to St. Petersburg and find a pet-friendly beach or a pet-friendly restaurant, you know, right? Ah, beer cans now. Is that what they do with them when they're scrapped? Turn them into beer cans? But yeah, it doesn't seem that crowded probably because it's not a jumbo ship. Yeah, so we said 2200 was the capacity. I don't know what percent they're at today. We should have asked for guest services but a lot smaller ship than we've ever been on Yeah, so I'm a little nervous. All right, there we go. Yeah, you can point us to a good eatery. We look for a good seafood place maybe with a water view. Dog-friendly if possible just so we can all spend the day together. But yeah, yeah, we'll give you a shout the next time we're in the Tampa area for sure. I think we're completely going down this channel. Hopefully you can see that okay. So we got a ways to go. We didn't realize that it was such a long way to the Skyview Bridge. Skyway Bridge. Skyway Bridge. But we'll try to hang on as much as we can. There's what we're leaving behind.
