Hey everybody, Brooks from Drag Times. Last month I had a great opportunity to be co-pilot
on the Fuel Run Miami. This was an awesome rally, a bunch of great people, a bunch of great cars.
One of the stopovers was Palm Beach International Raceway, which of course I love. I got to set up
a bunch of really cool races. First up we got Lamborghini Urus versus Ferrari Speciale,
and then we also got some other races. 720S versus modified GT2RS making 850 horsepower.
We got AMG GTR versus the Lamborghini Performante Spyder down the quarter mile,
as well as a modified Porsche making 800 horsepower, 850 horsepower versus 720S as well.
And I also ran another stock 720S down the quarter mile and a modified one both in the
nine. So if you want to see the rest of these videos, make sure you hit the subscribe button
and we'll keep them coming. Thanks for watching. If you want to get on the Fuel Run next year,
come out and join us at fuelrun.com. Thanks a lot. Brooks, what's the excuse, bro?
So what happened, dude? Yeah, well the track was stickier. Uh-huh,
so you just got beat by... This guy's got more red lights than a brothel.
So manually reach out and over. Yeah, just hold that before you get out.
Hey, one more.
Oh my God. Hey, that's your 458. That's your 458. What happened?
Uh, beat Alex. Brooks beat Alex again. Up, up, up, up. Oh shit, hold on. Up, up.
She's going to pop a tire. She's definitely going to pop a tire.
Hey, I think the tires are hot. Woo! Fire? Yeah. Let's go.
Yeah, I should.
So what happened, dude? Yeah, well the track was stickier. Uh-huh,
uh-huh. So you just got beat by the Urus? No. Twice? Three times? Twice. Twice. I'm pretty
sure it was twice. Let me see. What do you got back here, Alex? Oh, yeah, hold on. Oh, oh. Oh,
Jesus. Wait, so we have luggage and we have that and that. Oh, okay. And it's what, like
3,000 degrees out here? Oh my God. Brooks, what's the excuse, bro?
Hey, you've never driven that car. Oh, you know what the problem is? He's a master driver. It's
a Ferrari. But Johnny Valencia, amateur, has never driven this car before. Did it two launches,
11.2 twice. That's right, that's right. An amateur. So he said, so Brooks, basically what
Fred is saying is that you're a bad driver right now. I did what I could, buddy, you know.
He went, his friend went 10.2. Listen, I saved his car from coming down, so. Yes, he saved, yeah,
he saved me $400,000. There you go. There you go, we got super unlikely matchups, especially LA
wrapped up. I think it's got exhaust work in tune. Is it modified? Full IP exhaust headers.
And a tune. And a tune. It ran 10, no, 11.2 earlier in the day. Track grip kind of went away
and he started egging me on to race the Urus with all-wheel drive. It's the family. Here we go.
And me in a Ferrari. Not my car, but whatever. It was, it was, I beat you once. Just once,
but you lost two times. You lost twice. On 24s. Oh yeah, that's right. Let's show that.
Can we show that? I think we have previous film of like probably 300 pounds worth of stuff in the
back. Might've been back there. But the two first races were close, both 11.9s. Then we bumped it
down to 11.6s. And then I went to try something else with the car and spun and logged. And I
could just beat the country. Even though coming to the top end, this thing's just insane. Insane
off the line. Everyday car. You got a bunch of stuff in the car. Bunch of stuff in the car,
all factory 24-inch wheels. Stay tuned for the next round of when it has full exhaust and a tune,
because then we're really going to beat this. But it's never going to sound as good as this.
I don't know. These sound pretty good though. Man, this thing's unbelievable. The downshifts,
everything in this car is just on point and amazing. Full IP, titanium headers,
cab bypass, and exhaust, which makes the 488 a four or five-inch screamer.
Well, there you go. You got Speciale modified versus the Yaris stock on 24s.
It was fun. I'm going to get you next time. But actually, you'll see another race, him and I.
And Brooks loses again. No, I won.
He won because I red-lighted on the last one, but I still won faster.
And I red-lighted by 0.102. This guy's got more red lights than a brothel.
All right, so this is Brooks.
