Luxury Living In Hawaii: Stunning Ocean View Home With Infinity Pool

Aloha everybody. What a day! I am out here in Iolani checking out an amazing listing by Julie Wetstein and Dan Palmino over at KW Big Island. A big thank you to them for letting us bring this one to you. We have a beautiful luxury home and as you can tell we have an amazing view and pool behind me. Great home inside with a lot of nice woodwork. I think you guys are really going to like it in a well-established prestigious neighborhood here in Kailua Kona Hawaii. Great elevation. I mean this is going to check all the boxes for a lot of people. I'm going to show you the inside. I'm going to show you the outside. I'm going to tell you my three favorite things about the house and the one thing I would add or change if this was mine. Let's get started. So I'm starting out here outside at the front. The first thing I notice is if you want to keep it closed you have a gate. So like you go out of town close the gate and you're all set. Boy I mean as soon as I walked towards this house I knew we were in a good one and there's a there's a few reasons. Number one they took the time and care to do something and finish the the driveway which is great. We're in Iolani and Iolani has some really strong building standards in here and one of those things that they require is no asphalt shingle roof. I think they also have no metal roof. So everyone has these like hundred year concrete tile roofs. Like I said they're like hundred year roofs which is really great. You'll never have to deal with this thing hardly ever. Super high-end construction on that. We have wonderful landscaping out here. Those are like the tallest flame palms I've ever seen and flame palms are kind of expensive I gotta tell you. So usually you'll see one or two like right at the corner there for some splash of color but these guys put in a bunch of them and it looks gorgeous. Wonderful landscaping around this side of the house. We have masonite on the top. I guess that's two-thirds of the side of the house and then really wonderful job with this lava rock on the like about 36 inches up or so on the lower section of the house and then they went to the trouble of doing the mortar with a dye so it's black and it looks really really good. We have a two-car garage. The paint on the exterior of the house is in great shape. We're fully guttered. Nice attention to detail like over here on this gutter you notice they change they came and changed the gutter color on this lower section so it doesn't stick out and just your eye doesn't catch a big you know light colored line going down there just sort of blends in. Really really nice job on that. We have a breezeway connecting our two-car garage to the house so you know if it's raining or whatever you don't have to worry about it you won't be getting wet and then inside they got some storage in here but just showing you guys two-car garage painted floor and we're a little bit deep so you have room for some tools and some work benches and stuff like that there if you need we have our solar hot water heater we have a water filtration system really really great and then some more landscaping over here on this side you do have access it's fully gated of course because we do have a pool in the backyard and they use the aluminum style wrought iron fencing so what did I just say there aluminum and iron are two different things well you like this wrought iron style but iron will just like totally disintegrate in our environment here within like five years so you actually need them to be aluminum I have seen wrought iron fencing out here it is a massive massive mistake because it just cannot possibly last so really good job that they had the aluminum um that will last much much longer and another little thing they did is the pool pump is way back here so when you're in the pool area in the house it's not against the side of a bedroom or something no one's going to hear the pool pump with it being way back there so that is a super nice touch and you know spending the extra money to run that plumbing all the way down the side of the house because it's the right thing to do for the ownership experience is really really smart and then right before we head inside we have a wonderful entry right here and even standing here I think you guys can see it you get a view of the ocean right through the front door so you know you're going to see something special really really great job this is a wonderful home fully furnished inside which I mean just bring your toothbrush and you're ready to go let's get inside now hey guys if you're liking this video so far give me a like like button hit the subscribe button be a number one fan okay walking in the front door I mean you immediately know you're in a wonderful home this is kind of that classic look that you have here in our Kona resort style homes we have a large pocket door on the other side of the front door leading out to that spectacular view I gave you a tease of that at the beginning we'll get back out there don't you worry but for this quick moment I want to stay here at the entrance of the home and the main room the great room that we have here and kind of go over it really nice job that they've done on this boy when you're at the front door you got a double door entry glass door up there and then this wall that extends out and separates and creates a dining room for you and then they've wrapped this wall in a nice fabric wallpaper that looks great a wonderful entrance when you come here let me back up for a second a good amount of space you see we have 18 inch tile on the floor we are placed diagonally the grout looks absolutely clean this is a well cared for home we have looks like about six inch wood baseboard throughout the home flat panel on that looks great a wonderful sideboard this house is being sold furnished guys so the price which you can see down in the description below I'm gonna get people saying hey what's the price it's in the description guys always have it there or I even have a link to a page which will give you even more information so we always have that information there for you I don't always tell you the price because you know prices can change and I want this video to be you know applicable whenever so I don't want to often say a price anyways nice large mirror here that creates a wonderful view just keeps it looking nice and large we have a very light gray on our walls looks wonderful 90 degree corners in here let's get in some of these details yep looks great we got wood trim going around all of our doors as you can see there a good amount of space here in this main living area a nice three foot high tray ceiling up there on the vault and ceiling with god that looks like a 14 inch 18 inch piece of wood that goes around and trims it all out really accents it really well brings everything together from the top down to the baseboard down below and then they've done some wonderful choice made some wonderful choices on the furniture that they have here so things blend in really well so you come in here to this main living space like I said this is huge some people are going to put a dining room table right here where I'm pointing at right now some people just going to keep this nice and large maybe create even two separate living areas a little bit more of a tv area there and a separate seating area over here to our right then they have the dining room table at the end you could easily put a larger table there and hold six no problem this is a three-bedroom home so you have a lot of space in here you could entertain you know you could easily hold six people without even breaking a sweat really good job on this so I think I'm going to start back over here now the one thing that's really unique about this and some people are going to love it some people aren't and that's fine you do homes differently guys not every house is the same this one the kitchen is towards the back of the house and not towards the view but it's a really large kitchen they've done a nice job I love the wood that we have here on our cabinets and then our bamboo style looks like bronze some sort of metal bamboo style on our pulls really wonderful and then our quartzite countertops are Taj Mahal this is a popular stone that people are using you're going to see it for years to come it does a great job of blending with both gray and brown color palettes so that's one of the things people love about it's so versatile we got a wolf glass top cooktop over here with a vent cladded in the wood up above really great looking at nine and ten foot ceilings here in the kitchen recessed led lights nice wood framing around these windows these are great windows I'm not sure of the brand but these are solid you can see how they use the crank there on the right side that opens the window up and you got a latch here on the left side to lock it in a dual basin one-third two-third sink I haven't seen this one before I like it a lot it's a Kohler looks really great you got your garbage disposal button on the left and your soap dispenser on the right over here we have our dishwasher also in great shape that's a Miele incognito nice high-end brand so we got some really great finishes in here and then we've also put the panel on our refrigerator here so refrigerator up top freezer down below this is a sub-zero I mean we're just knocking it out of the park with the appliances appliance choices here wonderful amount of cabinets lots of space yes we got the pullouts you all know I'm a huge fan of that really really good but wait there's more we come around the corner there's our service door access the breezeway that I showed you connecting the garage to this kitchen or the house I should say through the kitchen and then talk about a pantry I love that we have drawers and pullouts right here and shelving on top really nice job very well thought out stay with me guys as I spin all the way around back here to a utility our washer dryer a nice big deep sink if you're going to do some hand washing cabinets at the back for some more storage even more pullouts and shelves over here I mean a lot of stuff and it almost is like a doubles as a butler's pantry because you got a second refrigerator over here that's really great so you don't have to make so many runs to Costco ceiling fan in here tray ceiling as well dual ceiling fan let's check that out and then I love it we got our woodwork up here and then as we continue on over into our dining room we got that wood trim up there and then into our main living area wood trim up there they did such a good job looks really really nice I really like what they've done let's continue on to this side of the house we have a storage area over here to my left looking good everything that you need I like that we have a pocket door here so it's an efficient use of space keeps it nice and clear when you're not using it and then next we have a powder room our toilet and our sink and a nice mirror setup right there and then into our our second suite this is our junior primary suite for a lot of houses I mean this is this is great this is your primary but this is actually the second best bedroom guys a lot of space in here I mean you can put a whole nother bed on this wall to my right and fit in just fine I think we got a queen-size bed there obviously you could hold a king-size bed no problem you see the extensive woodwork or wood going around we have it on our baseboards we have it going around our pocket sliders around our windows matching perfectly with our door into the bathroom and our closet doors it just looks absolutely great this is that if you like that wood look this might be the home for you plenty of space for a tv over here and a true pocket slider so the the glass door is already into that wall and we got a screen right here so we got wonderful airflow I'm telling you guys this is the hottest part of the year and let me see it's 11 52 right now it's getting to be the warm part of the day it feels great up here so this is at a wonderful elevation you get lots of air flow airflow through those big windows and you know when your guests wake up there's the view not bad but it wouldn't be a junior primary suite if it didn't have its own bathroom and this has got a wonderful bathroom we have a pocket door coming here into our bathroom toilet on the right service door going outside so if someone wants to get out let's open this door they can come right here and walk out sit there too if they want for whatever reason we have a single basin sink on a wonderful granite countertop and we have that same wood that we've seen in the kitchen pretty much throughout the home this keeps looking great a nice large deep tub over here on the left side and then as we pull back we have a zero threshold shower go right through nice wide doors I'm not going to say it's ADA compliant or anything like that but there's a lot of space here so this could be quite functional for people at a number of different stages in their life a ceiling fan in that room as well oh my I just ran into a table I'm trying to back up instead of spin for you guys so you don't get so dizzy and so sometimes I'm running into things we have another guest bedroom and the primary bedroom over there but I know you guys like these views so I'm going to come outside here real quick and take it in plenty of space out here for table and chairs and lounge and holy cow what a beautiful day here absolutely outstanding I like how they have this pathway leading right straight into the pool and then the notch in the pool I mean the whole thing just says come to the pool come to the pool I'm almost going to go in guys I'm I'm closed as normal you know the deal guys you buy a house with the pool with me that you see in one of these videos and we're jumping in on closing day um we have a colored plaster bottom this has been recently redone with nice turtle tile mosaics you see we got the solar pool cover on here which is really nice we have an infinity edge on the far side with looks like three inch nice blue tiles on that comes together really well we've got tile on our coping right to the grass I love it great natural look I'm going to show you a little bit behind the scenes here so when you have an infinity edge you have to have a basin to catch the water on the other side so we got that here but down below on the lower section of the property those black mats there water goes through little lines in there and heats up from the sun and that's what keeps the pool warm in the winter time and believe or not it gets cool in the winter in the pool out here like it gets pretty chilly okay let's talk about this view we're about four lots in from Milwaukee street so you might see cars going by every once in a while right there but I'm not hearing anything great you can see way off in the distance there try and keep my hand out of there uh you can see the Outrigger Hotel see the rocks out in front of Kahulu Beach Park uh you see a little boat there that's in front of Lyman's Bay oh no that's in front of where Magic Sands is I take that back and then you got Lyman's Bay coming into the center of the screen now and then all the way into town Kailua Bay the point the airport all the way super wide unobstructed unobstructable coastline shoreline view so this is as good as it gets guys now I've heard some people in some of my videos and listen I read all the comments and I try to write you guys back a lot if I heard someone go oh gosh look at all those roofs of houses well you live in a neighborhood you're either going to see the side of a house or a roof I'm going to take the roof over the side of a house any day of the week because I'm looking at a roof it means I'm looking at a nice view beyond so yeah we got some roofs in here and then just a wonderful home okay let's keep going we have a 18 inch elevated hot tub and that is lined up with the owner's side of the house really really smart there so you can have a nice little hot tub dip before you go to bed at night and go right into the bedroom really well set up I think they've done a great job you can see more of the awesome landscaping like we saw up front you can see that in back now they've done a great job did I say did I tell you guys this is furnished like bring your toothbrush and you're ready to go this is really good let's check out this I guess this is the third bedroom and then we'll finish on the primary and get to my three favorite things wonderful louvered door right here at our entrance now they have this set up as a office with a day bed over here to the left you could you could do it like this or you could just convert it just bring it into bed and and make it a full bedroom we have our still our nine and ten foot ceilings we have our tray our recessed led lights our wonderful wood trim going around the windows and over there on our closet door as the camera rotates over there on the right side playing space you can fit a king or queen bed in here no problem but you know if you're not entertaining a lot of people I could see you making this as an office or an exercise room or a yoga room and just kind of keeping this whole side of the house as the owner's suite so we come through this door and then here into our owner's suite I guess we'll start over here first so immediately to your right you can see we got two doors over here in a nice large window so what do we got we got not one but two closets wonderful built-ins drawers shelves places to hang stuff places to put shoes really good job on that and then as I come back we'll go and check out this other closet so nice two nice large closets now a lot of times people would make this just one large closet but you'd lose this wall here in the middle that allows for more shelving we put on both sides so you get a lot more storage with this dual closet design than you would with one large closet so that's something to keep in mind some people might like that and then come through our pocket door here into our bathroom now when I ran through the home real quick I was like oh I kind of would rather see a dual sink over here but it's such a big bathroom yeah you got dual sinks they're just further apart because you've got so much space in this bathroom wonderful looks great we got that same that same look like we had over in the kitchen with the Taj Mahal on our quartz countertops the nice wood the bronze or whatever kind of bamboo style handles that we have there just such a great job on this recess sinks both on the left side and the right side the same baseboard that we've seen throughout 18 inch tile the grout still in great shape zero threshold entry into this larger shower oh I had been saying um hey ladies you get this step here to shave your legs you know right up there and then I realized so I was at a shower that had this and I was like this is actually a lot easier for me to wash my legs so uh yeah guys it's for you too um I guess that's on me not really thinking about it and then a mirror the nice full-length mirror I know the ladies are going to be saying yeah you need that you got to have a full-length mirror right here at the closet check yourself out make sure you're happy and then we're going to finish up over here into the owner's bedroom lots of space huge uh that looks like a 10 foot pocket slider I think it's the same size as the other one if not a little bigger it could even be a 12 footer uh well I guess let's count tiles these are 18 inch tiles right so we got one two three foot six foot nine foot 12 foot yeah so we got 12 foot pocket sliders here really big and uh here's the bed and it's a king-sized bed lots of space let me center us up here there we go this is what you wake up to if that's okay with you um I actually know someone who might like this home who likes some woodwork who's talking to me about these types of homes so interesting all right time for my three favorite things uh boy and the one thing I would add or change if this was mine I'm gonna have a struggle on that uh favorite thing number one is going to be this view now yes I bring you a lot of good views but there are different levels so you know first you got ocean view right okay you can see some ocean uh what you also want to have is a nice wide ocean view so that's a that's a bonus you could certainly got a wide ocean view here I mean really like truly darn near if you would actually run like a compass from that point over to there you would be darn close to 180 degrees so that's a bit of a bonus and then to have that sweeping view that also brings in the shoreline now a lot of times you don't have shoreline view or complete shoreline view so that's something that puts this up at another level and then the final thing is is it going to be obstructed in the future well look how much lower all those houses are we're completely built out your view today is your view you might get a couple palm trees here and there so because of those factors this truly is a spectacular view above all the rest that you're going to see out there little details like that matter especially when you're going to live here for a very long time so number one is the view you can add the pool in there too absolutely outstanding number two we are in Iolani this is one of the great neighborhoods here in Kailua Kona Hawaii high building standards as you look around and pan here back to the left you'll notice we have concrete tile roofs throughout no asphalt shingles very high end throughout the home none of the garages the garage doors point directly at the road so you're not seeing just giant ugly garage doors little things like that that are in their building design codes I think they each house has to have a hip roof and I think there has to be a minimum of six different hip lines can't just have like a square house so really high design standards up here in Iolani does not allow short-term vacation or else I don't even think they allow rentals of any kind if I remember right so they've really got just a really great sense of community out here so being in Iolani is absolutely special favorite thing number number three on this house is going to be the extensive woodwork throughout the home on multiple you know ceiling treatments on the wood baseboard how all the cabinets and different pieces of furniture match up with the wood I just think they've done an outstanding job on that so really really great choice one thing I would change or add I'm having to go to things I would always list on any house that doesn't have it because there's really nothing to change here they've done everything absolutely perfect if a house doesn't have an outdoor kitchen I just want to add an outdoor kitchen but that's on every house that doesn't have it so it's not like there's anything wrong with this house it's just something that I personally would add and that's because I'm going to be spending all my time out here you know you buy this house you spend all your time outside because this view is absolutely spectacular all right guys I hope you like this video I got more for you in the corner see you again real soon
