Hi everybody! It's me again, Crazy Bag Lady!
So it's just 8 o'clock. I've just got room to the bus. I've literally got like no make-up on.
I've thrown yesterday's clothes on and taken her to the bus stop. I'm so tired.
Obviously we did all that gardening and stuff yesterday and I ache from head to toe.
Are you ready for some more gardening today Miss Donaghan?
I was about to call you Winifred.
Are you ready for some more gardening today?
You look very excited, don't you?
You love it when we do gardening because we get to be outside together all day.
Why are you not moving?
Why are you frozen?
Why are you not moving? Funny little thing.
See?
Winifred.
Anyway, beautiful day again. Lovely sunshine.
So we need to make a cup of tea, finish my make-up,
tidy up a little bit and stuff and then get on with a bit more gardening.
Where are you going to move today?
I've no idea why she's being a tattoo.
Right. Hair done. Make-up done.
Still got my old clothes on but it doesn't matter because I'm going back out in the garden.
Weather. Ta-da!
Beautiful. Morning me.
Beautiful Flora. Pat Peggy and everybody.
Little Bubba. Very cute.
Freddie Flint's laugh and positive potato. Big hugs if you're struggling.
I know quite a few of us are at the minute and I don't know why.
It's just sometimes it's the change of the seasons and I don't know.
But big hugs if you're struggling.
Don't forget you're not alone and we definitely understand on here.
I know some people don't even comment but they do relate.
So big hugs even if you're a person that doesn't comment.
We are all here for each other and I think it really helps to know
that you're not the only one that's sometimes a bit nutty.
You can't explain it but sometimes you just are and I totally agree.
Sometimes I am and I don't even know why. It's horrible.
But big hugs. It really helps to know you're not alone.
Right. So calendar of the day. Yesterday's was lovely.
So we've got pick a mantra for today.
Write it here and return to it when you need some extra motivation.
Yeah. Remember you're not on your own.
You can almost write your name there couldn't you?
So don't worry be happy.
I've even got it ready.
Right. We've got don't hurry, don't worry
and be sure to smell the flowers along the way.
That's so lovely isn't it? We didn't have that one yesterday did we?
I think we might have done. Hang on.
Yep. We had that one yesterday.
Shows how bad my memory is.
So what are you going to do with this brand new day?
We're going to get rid of some weeds.
Right. So let's turn the radio down.
Baby Yoda. Are you ready?
Oh happy Tuesday everybody.
Breakfast. Breakfast this morning.
I've got banana and yoghurt.
I was so naughty last night.
I sat there and had crisps.
So I've managed to eat some like tougher stuff now.
So I sat there munching and I thought what on earth am I doing?
But it was so lovely but I've been naughty.
So I thought Jane get your head back in gear please.
I've been so naughty this year.
Right. So yoghurt and banana.
And a bran fleek for my friend.
The only friend that's here. It's Lawrence.
Here you go my darling.
Nobody else has come. No one else is bothered about a bran fleek.
Right. It's exactly 9.01.
So I'm going to put the pots in to soak.
And then I'm going to get myself outside I think.
Here I am.
Right. So I think we're ready to go outside.
I'm looking outside thinking it looks a bit chilly.
I've only got a t-shirt. Perhaps I need to find a jumper to throw on.
Well somebody's excited that we're going outside.
Is it exciting?
It's really not that exciting Jolly.
In fact it's a bit chilly.
We made good progress yesterday didn't we?
It looks lovely.
It's all nice.
It's better.
It's better isn't it?
It's a bit damp and a bit chilly out here.
Well you can see where I've got to.
So I've got to go all the way around the grass.
There's so much trimming.
I desperately need a pool.
I need to put some stuff along here.
It's exciting.
It's very exciting.
No you're not having my gloves. They're mine.
I've still got some serious work to do.
Look at him.
He's a big one isn't he?
Fat slug.
No leave him.
No. Leave the slug.
So that's the edges done.
Now I need to weed.
Right.
I've just been right down there.
Cleared it up and it was bloody horrible.
I think a net was stuck in my face.
So if my face swells up later on I'll know why.
Look at this.
Look how big it is.
It'll grow me a hand some time.
I'm now wondering if I can fix the head of my flamingo.
Obviously a gardener came and leant on it and snapped her.
So she's headless.
Her head is over here somewhere.
We fixed her.
What do you think?
Dolly.
It's alright.
Bit of black stuff.
I don't even know what this is.
Found it in my husband's garage.
Mammoth tape for mammoth tasks.
And flamingos.
There we go.
They're together again.
And meanwhile in the house Florence has been a woman on a mission.
Squashing her face through the cage.
Pulling at all this to get to Dolly's breakfast that Dolly had left.
She's been very busy by the looks of it.
So I've come inside and put the kettle on.
Spot the problem.
My hair is full of bits.
So before I go anywhere this afternoon I'm going to have to shake my head outside.
So, my beautiful hydrangeas.
I love hydrangeas so much.
This one's been absolutely massive.
It's never been this big before.
But I have cut some of it off because I can't get round the side of my conservatory.
I've put some in there.
I've no idea if it's going to survive.
I have already shoved some in the garage to dry them out.
I hope they might dry in there.
They probably won't.
But they need to look pretty.
Back inside for dinner time.
And Dolly's been in her little cage.
And has reorganised her food so that no one can see it.
It's so funny.
Anyway, there's my dinner.
So I've got a dinner to be at Hoops.
Off to enjoy them.
My Hoops were lovely.
Everybody's disappeared.
They're not even bothered about a treat.
I think Fawn and Dolly have been outside all morning.
So, lipstick of the day is Avon Precise Lip Stylo in Feisty Fawn.
I can't wait to try some more of these.
They're so lovely.
Obviously I've had the red one as well.
But this one is my favourite.
It's so nice.
So easy to put on.
And it doesn't come off, but it doesn't set like concrete.
It's so lovely.
Right, so we're going on a little mission.
We're driving across to my favourite charity shop, the Brickarat one.
But before then, I'm going to pick up a rug.
Somebody was selling a real sheepskin rug.
And it's a really nice one.
I thought it would be lovely for Florence to sit on because it's really soft and warm.
So I'm going to get it for Florence.
It'll probably be too nice to give to a dog.
But we love a blesser.
And it's quite a good price, only £10.
So let's go and collect that and then make our way across to the charity shop.
Oh, and I've swapped my clothes as well.
So I've put on my different trousers.
Little clog shoes and my T-shirt.
Let's go.
Mission rug complete.
So it's for two.
Or both.
It was a brand new house and it was absolutely beautiful.
Right, now let's go for a little rummage.
That's a jolly.
So, yeah, this is what I think it could be.
I think it's a tin.
Right.
Oh, I love that.
I've got matches.
Right, did you see that?
Oh, right.
A jolly.
It's not fair, is it, Dad?
It's not like this one.
I don't use it.
It doesn't look bad, does it?
No, it looks good.
It's the same as what I've been doing.
Back in the car.
It was a good rummage and, yeah, they have bought some cushions.
And they've given me a nice bag to put my stuff in.
That's cool.
Right, anyway, we need to get home.
I'm home again.
So I'm home and there's my rugs.
So I've got this one and this one.
They're very soft and floofy.
They're nice, aren't they?
Too nice to give to the dog, really.
So I had an idea earlier on when I was driving home.
I thought I could paint my clothes prop in this pink colour, same colour as my gate and stuff.
But I don't know if there's enough left.
There's only a tiny bit left.
So we'll see if we've got enough to paint it.
So top half done.
Just the bottom half should hopefully just have enough.
I've done it.
I literally just had enough paint to do it.
So I've done it.
And then tomorrow when it's dry, I'm going to re-bound this with some more fancy string.
So it's easier to get hold of and push the prop up in the air.
It's very cute.
It looks white on camera but it's not.
Same colour as the door.
We're friends.
It's for Florence, not for you.
Excuse me.
It's for Florence because you lot can get in bed.
Little Florence can't.
It's for Florence to sit on.
I can't bring myself to leave it on the floor.
So for this moment in time, it's on my chair.
And that's the other one.
You can wash that one.
It doesn't matter.
Is that nice?
If you lay on that, we won't see you, will we?
I've just done my tea prep.
So for tea tonight, I've got my little fake pizzeria stuff that I've made.
So it's sourdough bread with cooked chicken on it, a bit of mozzarella, a bit of chorizo sausage stuff,
barbecue sauce, and the chicken and the cheese.
I've already said that, haven't I?
But it's delicious.
I'm so excited to have this.
Obviously, I'm going to have to eat it slowly because of my polyhole.
But yeah, very excited to have this later.
And I've saved a bit for my friends.
Right.
Are you ready, ladies?
There you go, Dolly.
Florence.
Lovely.
Winifred.
We'll get Winnie's in a minute.
Right.
Are you ready, ladies?
A bit more for you both.
Right.
Ready?
Dolly?
Florence?
Lovely.
Right.
Let's go and find Winnie.
She's not daft, is she?
You know where the new beds are, aren't you?
Or where there's something nice to sit on.
There you go.
A bit of chicken for you.
Eat it quick.
Quick, before your friends come.
Lovely.
Lovely bit of chicken.
Ooh, yeah.
A bit more there, look.
No, that's not yours, little monkey.
That's Winifred's.
Lovely, jubbly.
Right.
Cup of coffee.
So, I don't know if I've already said this,
but when I got home, my husband was already here.
It really surprised me.
So, that's fried my head,
because he's never here early, but he's here early.
So, I've made him a coffee.
And one for me.
Right.
And can you...
Hello.
What was that?
And you can tell from the noise,
we're going to see Pat.
It's not that exciting.
Yeah, you like her, don't you?
Yeah.
No, the bloody cornflakes are in the yogurt.
And a piece of a beef sandwich I started.
What are you doing?
Part two.
I'm very slow, strong.
Hey.
We're home.
Finally, home.
There's my tea.
Obviously, I've got to eat it very slowly,
but there's my tea.
My little chicken petri thing salad.
I haven't added any tomatoes or anything like that,
because I haven't turned any of my little seeds in.
And some little pub chips.
Off to enjoy it.
Oh, my tea was lovely.
I love that tea so much.
It's one of my favourite teas.
It's so tasty.
It is.
Yeah, it's lovely.
Right, Winifred.
Thank you, Winnie.
And last but not least, little Dolly.
Let's go.
Curl back.
Right, there you go.
Right, what did we buy?
So, we bought today these cushions.
They are only IKEA ones,
but they've got the softest feather inners in them ever.
You can use them either side.
I just thought they were absolutely lovely.
So, they've got, like, bird sort of shapes on them,
but I thought the colour matched my doors
in my sitting room and stuff.
So, I'm not sure where I'm going to put them.
I think I'm going to put them on my sofa,
but I loved them.
I got some more fabric.
So, I've already got some of this fabric
that I did buy from that charity shop,
and I thought it might be quite good for pumpkins
or anything else you want to make,
but it was, like, so nice.
So, I bought it.
And then I bought this little bit as well
because it was in 20p,
and I thought it was, like, my favourite shade of pink.
Not my favourite shade of pink,
but, you know, like in fabric,
I love, like, pink velvety stuff.
It's so lovely.
And then I got a little denim jacket,
which was slightly more than it should have been, really,
I think.
It's only a Primark one,
and it was £6,
which I thought it would have been about £4,
but never mind.
But I really wanted, like, a dark denim jacket.
Obviously, I've got a blue one,
but I really wanted, like, a washed denim-y one,
like a black one.
I did want a cropped one.
This one's not cropped,
but I thought by the time I get round to ordering one,
it'll be too cold to wear them,
and I want one I can wear now.
So, I thought,
I'll just put my local charity shop and get that.
And then, of course, I got a bag.
Ta-da!
How cool is that?
So, they put the stuff in this bag,
and I think this bag's cool.
So, I got a bag.
And this evening's entertainment is brought to you by Dolly,
who has been throwing her jellyfish round and round her head.
Who said jellyfish?
It's like an octopus thing.
I've been throwing it round and round and round.
You're clever.
Go on then, show us how clever you are.
Go on then.
Oh, you're clever.
Go on then, show us.
Say, I'm so clever.
I don't think Forrest wants your jellyfish, does she?
They've all come to join in the fun.
Don't pick Winnie's leg up.
You're supposed to be picking the octopus up.
Oi!
You keep Winnie's leg alone.
Terrible little fluffy thing.
You keep Winnie's leg alone.
That's it, get your octopus.
Jellyfish, whatever it is.
Go on then.
Show us what you can do with it.
I think it's a bit big for her, really.
Right, my dears.
My husband's very busy, look.
I'm going to love you and leave you.
So, many thanks for joining me again today.
I hope you've enjoyed it.
It's a bit of real life with its ups and downs.
My arms feel like they're going to fall off.
But I think we've done a good job.
So, thanks for being there with me.
