All right, so welcome to the Mondo Tour.
It's a very highly anticipated video.
We've had a lot of people ask for it.
This is the first one that we've built.
It's 10 feet wide, 32 feet long.
So in this video, we're gonna kinda take you around,
show the outside, show you the inside, what it looks like.
Yeah, so here we go.
All right, so real quickly, on the front of this home,
you'll notice that it has a cedar siding,
which is locally milled, and it has the LP sheets.
Now, for the most part, in the future,
we're gonna actually switch over to a metal siding,
which is a 40-year product.
You get to choose the color.
We really like it because you don't have to worry
about repainting it, recalking, or anything like that.
But if this is something you wanted for your Mondo,
the LP sheets and the cedar,
this is something we could do for you.
When you look up there, you'll notice that this home,
just like all the other new homes
that we're building for our Model Tiny,
have a dual roofline, and we do that for multiple reasons.
The main reason we do that is just because
it looks really nice from the outside and the inside.
And we use black metal, 29-gauge metal roofing,
which we absolutely love.
We think that looks good.
And you can see we also have the black vinyl.
So when you mix the black roof with the black windows,
it has a really good modern look.
If you notice on the window, it's a 36-inch entry window.
Now, this customer wanted a blind
that is built into the door.
So if that's something you wanted, we could do that as well.
Really nice modern light above.
Really love this aesthetic.
We think it looks good.
Okay, so now we're on the front of the home.
Now, this is where the bedroom area is.
You can see there's a very large five-feet wide,
four-feet long picture window.
Now, that is an optional thing.
So if you just wanted a regular window
like you see on the rest of the homes,
we can do that as well.
When you go to a Mondo versus our other homes,
you go from a 12,000 BTU mini split up to an 18,000 BTU.
And this one is actually dual zone.
We'll show you more of that when we get into the house.
But this is a very, very nice unit.
If you come over to this area,
you'll see that this particular tiny home
is going to the mountains.
It has an anti-freeze protection,
on-demand propane hot water heater.
So the great thing about this is
you get an unlimited amount of hot water
as long as you have propane.
All right, so now we're on the rear side of the home.
You'll notice that this is where the sewer gets hooked up,
the water gets hooked up,
and the electric gets hooked up.
This is the rear side.
This is the living area.
And this is another five feet wide,
four feet tall picture window, which is optional.
Totally up to you if that's what you wanted.
You can see it's got taillights.
So this thing goes down the road,
believe it or not, as large as it is.
And it's available anywhere nationwide and also in Canada.
So that's pretty much for the exterior.
So now let's go inside and take a look.
All right, so now we're on the inside of this Mondo.
Again, this is a 32 foot model.
We're also gonna have a 40 foot model.
And I'll explain the difference of that
really quickly here in a second.
But right now we're in the living area.
As you can see above me,
we have a loft that expands the entire length of the home,
which is 10 feet wide.
Now in this particular situation,
you don't see rails because the owner
did not want to use this as a sleeping loft.
There's no egress window up there
because she wanted this to just be storage.
And believe it or not, just have her cats up there.
If you wanted the two bedroom model,
which goes from 32 feet long to 40 feet long,
it would mean simply that this back wall
would be a wall between the bedroom.
Over here would be a door,
and then would lead to another eight foot long bedroom.
So that would be kind of like a guest space
for if you have children,
or if you needed a separate office,
that would work out really perfect.
So then you'd go from 320 square feet to 400 square feet.
Well, 399 is the maximum we're allowed to build.
So it'd be 399 square feet, separate bedroom,
and then there'd be windows in that bedroom as well.
So this tiny home is actually going to Mountain Haven today,
which is our tiny house community in the mountains of Virginia.
As you can see, there's plenty of room here
for a nice little couch, side tables,
and there's a place over here
to put your entertainment center if you want.
You can put a desk over here,
and you can mount a TV on the wall.
All right, as you can see,
there are a lot of windows in this home.
So it's full of natural light,
and also the door's full glass.
And if you look over to this way,
there's a huge picture window, five by four,
and there's two of those in this particular tiny home.
Those are optional, so if that's something you want,
or you want to be able to see,
bring the outdoors in, that's a really good idea.
So everything about the tiny house is built around quality.
LVP waterproof flooring, cabinet-grade plywood walls
that are nickel-gapped.
The ceiling is made from shiplap, locally milled pine lumber,
which is really, really nice, has a nice look to it.
But this tiny house is all about openness and spaciousness,
and when you look around,
you can see there's lots of natural light.
All right, so now we're in the kitchen area.
As you can see, this is a very, very long countertop.
This is actually 10 feet long,
and our customer elected to go with stained butcher block.
You can also go with white quartz
if you want for the countertop.
Large, deep stainless steel sink.
Three-burner gas cooktop, so this thing runs off of propane.
There's a hood up here, plenty of storage.
Double window that kind of goes right here
so you can see out.
And also, it hangs over the end,
so this could be used as a sitting area, a work area.
You could put some benches there.
All right, so really quick,
I want to take you to the other end of the kitchen,
because you couldn't really see it that well,
but we have a floor-to-ceiling pantry.
As you can see, storage all the way down.
This customer elected to have an air fryer down here
with storage beneath.
So this is what they call a microwave cabinet.
Works really well, because it's kind of built in.
Then you come a little bit farther down,
there's more storage here.
Apartment-sized fridge.
And also, the thing about this one,
most of our tiny homes only have one unit
for the mini-split.
This is a single unit with dual zones.
This thing is super insulated,
so you can put it pretty much in any climate
in the United States.
So yeah, I just wanted to show you
the other end of this kitchen.
And as you can see, this is a very, very functional kitchen.
You can prepare just about any meal you want to out of here.
So when you look over to the other side of the house,
this is the bathroom area,
which we'll take in there in a second.
But above, there's a large storage area as well.
So not only is there storage for the loft,
if that's what you decide to use it for,
or a sleeping area,
but there's a lot of storage up in this area.
So now we'll just take you into the bathroom.
All right, so now we're in the bathroom area.
This area has privacy via a pocket door that slides,
and that's how you close off the rest of the area
from the bathroom.
So this is a very large bathroom,
especially by tiny house standards.
This is the biggest bathroom we've ever done.
But this is a four-foot vanity and a flush toilet.
Now, this particular customer wanted it this way,
but the way we would typically do it
is move the vanity over here on this back wall
and have the toilet there,
which I think is a little more functional,
but this is what the customer wanted.
So the shower is a little bit larger.
It's four feet wide,
which fits the width of this tiny house.
And we use our standard PVC tiles,
which we absolutely love.
You can pick those in multiple different colors.
And another thing about this bathroom I should note is,
like all of our other tiny homes,
there's an outlet down here.
So that means if you wanted to put a compost toilet in here
that uses a fan or uses some sort of power,
you could put that here instead of the standard flush toilet.
But again, this is going to Mountain Haven in Virginia,
which has septics.
And again, this bathroom has a humidistat, which is perfect.
You set it to the level that you want,
and when it reaches that humidity,
it'll kick in instantly.
Like this bathroom with the rest of the house
has flush, canless lighting,
which is really nice, and you can dim that as well.
So now we're in the bedroom,
which is 10 feet by 10 feet,
which is a pretty big bedroom.
It's a whole 100-square-foot bedroom.
And the great thing about this particular bedroom
is it has a huge picture window.
Now again, this is going to Mountain Haven.
She'll be able to be in her bedroom,
look out, and see the blueberry patch,
which will be really nice, that grows behind her.
Full closet, which we haven't installed the wire system
or the hanging system that goes here,
but that'll be there.
And sliding doors.
And also, in the Mondo layout,
you have your washer and dryer in the bedroom,
which is really nice.
So if you're hanging out in the living room,
you can close this barn-style door.
You won't be able to hear that or whatever.
Or if you're just leaving your house for a little while,
go ahead and get the stuff running,
and it'll work out really great.
But this, as you can see in the video,
this has tons of natural light.
And lots of privacy.
And the thing is,
this one also has another mini-split unit in it,
which works out really well
because you can condition this room
to a different temperature if you want
from the rest of the home.
And the layout of this bedroom,
it actually accommodates a queen bed very easily.
Now if you're a single person,
or if you only need a twin,
that's even more room for you.
And the privacy for the bedroom from the rest of the home
is done by a sliding barn door,
which is really nice, it looks good.
All right, so that concludes the tour
of the 10 feet wide, 32 foot long Mondo.
