(Laliga 2024/2025): Highlights LAS PALMAS - ATHLETIC CLUB

A game in which they were very much alive in, and yet Alaves was still able to score a goal in both halves to secure a vital victory for Luis García Plata's men. Here is Moledo, who's shot is just kept out by Aguirre Zavala. Kiryan can't help it over the line. Passing the space now for Williams. Plants it back across for Gudu Theta, who lets the ball run for Ojan Samtic. And that is very well worked from Athletic Club. Seven minutes in and they take the lead. It's probably their best player. Last long enough to create anything dangerous, as now Iñaki Williams plays the ball back to Ojan Samtic. Finds the bottom corner. But the flag is raised for offside. It did look like it was an illegal position. Long ball here now for Iñaki Williams. Cillessen is a long way off his line. His header is met by Nika Williams. It's now Iñaki. Back to his younger brother. And it's a lovely finish. Nika Williams is back, ladies and gentlemen. He's found the bottom corner. The Williams brothers hadn't caused any danger in front of goal before this game. And they've only gone and combined to make it 2-0 here. Moreledo. Threads it through brilliantly now for Kiriak. And it's just kept off the line. That is a brilliant move, defensively speaking. Kiriak with a lovely ball there for Sandro. But it did look offside. And it's going to be a red card. It's Sandro. What a goal that is from Sandro Ramirez. He wins the free kick. And he scores it as well. Half an hour left to play. And it's game on at the Estadio de Gran Canaria. Alex Munoz again. Plays the cross in. Silva gets the header. And what a save that is from Aguirre Zavala. To the corner taker, Berenguer. Who plays a lovely ball in. Iñaki Williams got the touch. And then Aitor Paredes puts it over the line for a simple tap-in. He looked over, expecting to see an offside flag raised. It doesn't look like it's going to come. Teammates in yellow in the box. Kiriak lobs it in towards the back post. The header. And it's in. It's the halftime substitute. Alex Munoz. Game on again. At the Estadio de Gran Canaria. Las Palmas 2. Athletic Club 3. To bring the proceedings to a close here at the Estadio de Gran Canaria. Athletic Club have held on despite going down to 10 men. They've had to play half an hour in this second half. A man down.
