Hello friends, welcome to my channel Dinesh Sir. Today we are going to learn about Pythagoras. We always learn about Pythagoras. But do you know about Pythagoras? So let's start Pythagoras's life. Pythagoras was born in 570 BC on Samos Island in Greece. Pythagoras's father Nysarchus was a rich businessman. His mother's name was Pythais. Pythagoras's teacher Thales who was a great mathematician started teaching Pythagoras in his school. Since childhood Pythagoras was very interested in Mathematics. As Pythagoras completed his schooling his interest in Mathematics increased. Pythagoras went out of Greece and wanted to know about Mathematics which was being taught in other countries. That's why he started searching for new rules of Mathematics and started travelling to other countries for studying. For about 22 years he travelled to different countries of Europe and started understanding the nature of Mathematics. After that for about 12 years he travelled to different countries of Asia. Till now he had understood the basic principles of Mathematics. After that at the age of 50 he came back to Samos. But he was not interested in Samos. His companions were no more. That's why for the publicity of Mathematics Pythagoras went to Croton city of Italy. Till now Pythagoras had come out as a famous mathematician. In Italy a man named Milo welcomed Pythagoras and kept him at his home as a guest. Pythagoras used to publicize Mathematics at the public places of Croton city of Italy. At that time women were not allowed to go to public events in Italy. But mostly women used to come to watch and listen to Pythagoras' events. Later Pythagoras founded School of Pythagoras in Croton city. This school was like an ashram. Whoever wanted to learn Mathematics used to take shelter in Pythagoras' ashram. This was the rule of Pythagoras' school that in this school all the rules and formulas will be known by the name of Pythagoras. In Pythagoras' school many concepts and theorems of Mathematics were discovered. And all were popularized by the name of Pythagoras. Out of which, Samkond Tribhuj means right angle triangle was very popularized. The followers of Pythagoras, Milo once protected Pythagoras while falling from the roof and saved his life. Milo, who had a beautiful daughter who used to serve Pythagoras was influenced by Pythagoras. Her name was Theano. Pythagoras married Theano and both started running the school of Pythagoras. The children of Pythagoras were Telugu, Arignote, Maya. At the age of 75 Pythagoras died around 490 B.C. Pythagoras was not only a mathematician but also a great philosopher, astronomer and music theorist. After Pythagoras' death Theano kept the command of his school of Pythagoras. Thus Pythagoras became famous as a great mathematician and philosopher of the world. So friends, did you see? The story of Pythagoras is very interesting.
