I can't believe the media and the fallout between Manchester City and Arsenal. I can't call it a
rivalry until we claim some equal trophies, people. Whenever we play City, matter of fact,
Mikel Arteta and the various culture stars seem to be getting into it. The players get into it
and there's many talking points on the pitch, let alone the handbags off it. And I'm happy with this.
People said they wanted the old Barclays Premier League back. They wanted handbags,
they wanted fighting, they wanted antics, they wanted all of it. And I'm not going to lie to
where Arsenal and Manchester City is concerned, where Arsenal are concerned, I always say I want
boring games and Arsenal winning, like I'm sure every football fan would want. But typically,
when I'm doing my watch-alongs that don't concern Arsenal, big up you lot, make sure you're tuned
in, people. I always say I want good football goals, entertainment, tactical spectacles and
VAR and referee drama. And that's everything we got with Arsenal and Manchester City. Liverpool
were once the guys fighting City, now we are. Now the difference is City might have won the
against Liverpool, but Liverpool won a couple of battles. They claimed their first Premier League
trophy in 30 years and they've obviously got to a Champions League final and won it.
And I might be wrong about this, but Pep Guardiola currently at Manchester City has
been to two Champions League finals, evidently when they won the competition and I'm sure they
played Chelsea in the final. Klopp's been, he's played Spurs, they won it. I'm sure he's been
to at least two, so it's equal. So part of me actually feels Klopp's been to three Champions
League finals. I could be wrong on that. But yeah, people, apparently even the directors are
getting into it where Arsenal are concerned. Obviously at the time of making this video,
Arsenal will be playing Bolton people. The fixtures are coming thick and fast. I'm saying
it from now, I could be wrong. I hope to see Lewis Skelly and Ethan get minutes.
Ethan Dunwary is going to score tonight and we've been linked with Wurtz and Vlahovic. I know,
people, it's irrelevant as the market isn't open. Apparently Wurtz is a long-time target.
Vlahovic is someone we're looking at doing in January. We did hear Jocorez was one in January,
but enough waffling, people. Let's crack straight on. As you can see, Arsenal chief
stormed out of director's box and refused to shake hands with Man City execs after John
Stone's 98-minute equaliser in the Gunners' fiery draw at the Etihad, which I like. We're all in
this together, but we do talk about a touch of class and I feel Manchester City and Arsenal
and the various people that are connected, away from what I like and the drama and all of that
stuff. Sport is about winning and losing. You have to be gracious and not do what you saw
Harlan against Arteta or, in this case, our director. So it seems like the fight is off
the field and I wonder what that means with the way we're looked in the media, well, we're looked
by the referees, where you look at PGMOL. Apparently clubs are lining up to report us.
Obviously, you know, Manchester City are facing 115 charges and you'd imagine Arsenal are one
of the clubs that are lobbying against Manchester City in general because, again, I think you need
to get away from the tribalism. You know, I think there is a lack of morality in football. Where you
look at the big shots that control the game of all clubs and all league executives, I think morality
is in question. But where you look at Manchester City and Arsenal on the field, everyone wants to
be like them. Off the field and what they quote-unquote represent, you could argue they're
two very different things and Arsenal kind of hate them in that regard. Tim Lewis reportedly
stormed out of the director's box at the Etihad and refused to shake the hands of his Manchester
City counterparts after the Gunners' hot-tempered draw with the champions. The feisty Premier League
clash ended in a stalemate. Blah, blah, blah. We know that. But the route of the Gunners'
post-match irie and the reason for the second half's total imbalance came when Trossart was
shown a second yellow. According to The Sun, Stones' late leveller enraged the Arsenal executive to the
point that he stormed out of his seat and did not shake hands with his host as is customary.
Respectfully, Tim, any man that can see his hairline is gone and he's still trying to
survive it. This doesn't look like somebody to trust, let alone someone to want to fight.
So big up, Tim Lewis. He's a madman. Keep doing what you're doing and I might beat you. You know
what? You're my guy. The report goes on to claim that fellow members of Arsenal's board were left
to apologise for Lewis' absence and mingle with City's top brass. The incident is yet another
example of enmity between the two clubs, both on and off the field, people. You all saw the
obviously what we're referring to now and you saw the various handbags, but
it's football. It is what it is. Mikel Arteta has spoken on Miles Lewis-Skelly and he said
he showcased on his debut he's a competitor. He is because he's got a yellow card without stepping
on the pitch. He, in brackets, Lewis-Skelly is a competitor. You look at him in every
drew he goes. The way he reacts with his teammates, you speak to him. It's constantly eye contact.
He's nudging. He's asking questions. It's a special character and I've said this before.
Obviously, Lewis-Skelly is playing for Arsenal because he's a good, young, talented footballer.
All we could be here waffling about him. He's clearly intelligent because he's
an organic central midfielder. He's playing as a left-inverted left-back. Obviously,
you look at how he got the yellow card. Mikel Arteta sent him and Jorginho to do a bit of a
job and he showed character off and on the field. He's clearly a good person and that's a testament
to how his mother and father and family members and people around him have raised him. So big
up to him. He's a great person in that regard, people. He did say he can play in three positions,
basically. As a left-back, as a number six, as a number eight. He's very versatile. He adapts
from there. He can occupy different spaces. He's very adaptable. That's the good thing about Miles.
He's very intelligent, very thorough. He has some unbelievable questions every time you
ask him to do something and he has the competitive edge, which I think is demanded at this level.
He really wants it. So where we are going to use him in different positions. If you've got
the mentality, you're attentive. You've obviously got the ability and you've got the intelligence to
undertake what Mikel Arteta demands of you on the football field. You've got it all, really. You've
got all the tools and you've got the opportunities down to Miles and Lewis if and when they get their
chance. Sorry, Miles and Ethan if and when they get their chance to take it. He said the two are
really pushing, really demanding. They want everything. For Lewis Skelly, he played in that
2-2 draw against Manchester City, albeit for a couple of minutes, and the same said for Ethan
So, yeah, man, hopefully their time comes and I'd love for them to get a start.
Speaking of young players who could potentially start, 16-year-old Jack Porter,
who's highly rated within the academy, could start today because there's issues around
Raya and there's issues around Ryan. Obviously, Neto is cut tight. I don't expect to see that,
but I'd support all the young players getting their opportunities, man, and who wouldn't want it?
Apparently, Man United are considering a summer move for Ivan, considered an Ivan-Tony move in
I only mention that because why is everybody in the Premier League, including Arsenal,
so turned off Ivan-Tony? Moving away from that, people. Arsenal are planning a move for Juventus
striker Vlahovic next summer as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his attack, sources have told team
talk. Now, depending on where you read, some say we're trying to do this in January. This is
evidently said we're trying to do this in the summer. Obviously, we tried to get Vlahovic.
In the January that led to us trying to get Vlahovic, we obviously signed Gabriel Jesus.
We obviously know a number nine is what we want. You look at Vlahovic, he has a contract until
2026 and just by reading certain things about Juventus, they wanted to take a wage cut
potentially and sign extended terms. So is it a case of the fact that we want a striker? We've
gone for this guy before. We didn't bring in a striker and the contract stuff at Juventus.
Arsenal obviously wanted him. Things can change and profiles can change,
but could this be something to go after again, people? Apparently, team talk sources say Vlahovic
is on Arsenal's list of targets too and there's a good chance he'll be on the move next summer.
I must admit, Isak would be the top target for me. The club did try to go for Cesco,
so there could be that. And you could argue Jokerez is probably, well,
you'd imagine Jokerez's profile in the world for casual football viewers is on par with Vlahovic,
probably even more now due to him basically scoring for club and country every week.
I think Jokerez is probably a better fit of, yes, goals are what we want from a striker,
but all the other facets Mikel Arteta demands, people. So it's a new name every week, people.
Apparently, the North London club closely tracked Vlahovic in January, but Juventus had no intention
of allowing him to leave the club at the time. Vlahovic's contract is set to expire in 2026
and negotiations with Juventus over an extension are currently at a standstill. Therefore, they
could be forced into selling him next summer, but they'll still demand a high, a big fee.
Well, to be fair, they've probably got 18 months because, what, the summer of 2025?
Ooh, in fact, yeah, no, no, no. Yeah, summer 2025, you'd have to make him cut. Apparently,
Vlahovic and Jokerez aren't the only players or strikers Arsenal are keeping tabs on.
We've been linked with Jonathan David of Lille, which we have been for a few years,
Benjamin Cesco, and apparently Inter Milan's Marcus Turan, people. We'll have to see.
Simultaneously, Tommy Assu is linked with Inter Milan and also Juventus, people.
Hasn't kicked a ball this season for us yet, but still linked. Real Madrid hold an interest in
Saliba, but Arsenal have no intention to negotiate the possible sale of the defender, which is new
to my ears. Modric apparently is moving closer to leaving Chelsea in January, so will we be
bargain hunting in Chelsea's sale list, sale transfer things again? I'm not sure, but you'd
have to look at that. We've also been linked with Aston Villa's Duran, who keeps scoring.
He's got five goals in 250 minutes played. Don't think Aston Villa is selling mid-season,
but you never know. Manchester City, owing to Rodri's injury, apparently are looking at Barella.
Ederson of Atalanta, who's been linked with us and is quite tenacious and we saw him play against us.
Martin Zubermandi was linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayern Munich.
City have been thrown in there. Could Pep Guardiola tempt his fellow countrymen?
And Adam Walton. I love Walton or Crystal Palace. I do think one thing he needs to improve on
is when you're playing against a bigger size like against Manchester United and you don't
have time. I think he gets dispossessed quite easily, but he's a fantastic player and Crystal
Palace are laughing. Now there's a lot of stuff going around about Wurtz going to Bayern Munich
and equally Jamal Musiala's future at Bayern Munich. I would love Musiala at the club.
Let me know your thoughts. Don't forget to smash the like button, by the way.
Bayern Munich want to pair Musiala and Wurtz next season and will make a move for the latter in the
summer. Real Madrid and Manchester City are also interested. Arsenal have also joined the race for
Wurtz. They've already scouted him during his youth days in Cologne, which we have.
When he leaves Leverkusen, Wurtz wants to join a team with a realistic chance of winning the
Champions League that also offers him the prospect of winning the Ballon d'Or. I don't know if you
could say that is or isn't Arsenal. Leverkusen have an asking price of 150 million. So I think
that's a myth for us. Mikel Arteta spoke about dark arts people, which we're going to get into
because we're going to look at his press conference ahead of the Bolton game. Big up Bakayo Saka,
his latest assist equals a Premier League record, people. Best runs of consecutive assists in
Premier League history. He's now up there with Bergkamp, Perez, Reyes, apologies RIP, don't know
why I got tongue-tied there. And there's actually Thierry Henry as well, people, and many others,
Lombard as well. So every day Saka is making history and we're happy to have him at the club.
Mikel Arteta has spoken. Obviously, he's already going to speak about the recovery our players
made from Sunday's game. He's not going to get drawn into old wounds. But on the reaction from
the game against City, we had to play the game that we had to play in the first 10 or 15 minutes.
We couldn't. 11 against 11. Then we got much better and obviously were thrown into a very
different context. Every team does. They played 30 seconds with 10 men. Look at what they did.
It's normal what they did in 30 seconds. We had to do it in a different way. We learned from the
past as well because unfortunately we've been in that situation three times. One was with Granit
after 37, 38 minutes and we conceded how many? I hear it. On Trossart, he said he's reflected.
He's got the same reaction. Of course, he wants more consistencies from the referees.
He's not going to get that. He said he wants to move on. He did speak about pride on the hunger
of the results, of the emotion, of the physicality of reacting to setbacks in these last three games
because even if we lost against Spurs, God forbid, at Atlanta and City, it would play a part in the
season, but there's still a lot to play for. It weren't perfect. I'm taking four points off Spurs
and City. I would have loved six, 100%. Atalanta would have loved to kick off the Champions League
with three points, but considering everything going into our club and we haven't been at our
flowing best, I'm happy with that and I think they're right.
I always prefer the facts than words or supposing things. So let's see who's available tomorrow.
Then we could talk about Dark Arts or these pigs. Arteta's getting peed off with these.
Unfortunately, there'll be a few players who are not available. I wonder who that is, man,
and even with our defensive options because, you know, Califuri hasn't played that many minutes
and he pulled up with cramp. Timbers obviously had a big seven days and he's coming back from an ACL.
Benjamin White had to be used despite an injury. Tomiyasu and Zinchenko are still out
and there's probably a couple of other fitness. I think we can be very top heavy against Bolton.
I think there's going to be needing to find some creative solutions in defence. Even Lewis
would love for him to play centre midfield, would love for him to get experience against a men's
league one-side playing as an inverted left-back. But if you can play an inverted left-back being
right-footed, you could play right-back. Is there some flexibility there? You might have to rely on
certain things and even that game, people, for me, there's question marks over who's in goal.
But if Raya's fit, I'm going with Raya. I'm going with Raya. I think Sterling deserves a star. I'm
on the right. So it gets a bit techy, isn't it? On the right, who do you play? Saka could play,
but you don't really want him to. Do you just run Martinelli, try and let him get
his first goal of the season? Maybe you have to run Martinelli for a period.
Defence is where it gets tricky because if Benjamin White, Timbo or Califuri have passed
some fitness tests, then there are obviously options really. But could you do a thing,
you might have to rely on a Saliba to give you 45 to an hour. Maybe the same goes for
Benjamin White. So it's the defensive kind of things where you're looking and thinking,
oh, what's going to go on there, people?
On whether he has to remind his players not to kick the ball away or passing the ball,
you mean just leave the ball, don't touch the ball, we'll play without the ball.
On whether winning the League Cup can lead to something bigger, for sure. You look at what
Klopp and Pep did. Pardon me. Yes, for sure, we want to win the game tomorrow. We have to start
the first game. We have to understand what is the best team, the strongest team that we can put out
to perform the way that we need to be better than Bolton and beat them. And, you know, Bolton's not
going to be a walkover. If they win, it's headlines. If they lose, it's business as usual.
They're a League One side. It is going to be a very tough game. And you'd imagine with the changes,
not that we've been at our fluid best, but we'll be a bit disjointed.
He then said on changes at the moment, we cannot because we don't have another 10 players
available. So a couple of players you probably would have wanted to give the day off will
probably be in action. Obviously, he's going to say it's been a great or it will be a great
opportunity for young players. He's bigged up the partnership of Saliba and Gabriel.
On Raheem Sterling, he's probably going to get his first start. Very good. He's had a few minutes
already. And tomorrow he has another opportunity. He's ready. He's really hungry to add more minutes
and impact the team in the way that he can. And hopefully tomorrow we can see that.
Obviously, it's a sellout crowd at the Emirates. On Ryrie said, let's see how they are today.
We'll try to make a call on if that's a possibility. Of course, we enjoyed the battle.
We've covered this in a previous vid because one minute he's nobody knows what Arteta wants to do.
He just a person who puts cones out for Pep Guardiola. Then he's copying Pep. Then he's
copying Jose. I don't know. Two very contrasting styles, but Pep and Jose were both winners.
So if he's taking little bits and pieces from what they did and adding it to himself,
you could do a lot worse than that. We've gone over the E from comments people.
He's obviously big up the 21s. On can you measure success in terms of trophies?
In terms of trophies, is it success only if you win it? So again, the last two years don't
really mean nothing. Then by that logic, fighting for the league title, obviously.
Obviously, context has to be applied. How you measure success or associate that word,
we can have a much deeper conversation, which is true. But we are here to win. We are here
to win the big competitions and the ones people consider not that big. That's our duty.
On Zinchenko, I think he'll be out for a few weeks, unfortunately. So there's issues there.
On Martin Odegaard, I think it'll be a matter of weeks, but how long exactly, I cannot tell you.
On whether he'll play before the international break, he said we might get a surprise,
but I think that's unlikely. On accusations of dark arts against his team, I mean,
Mikel Arteta used to cry about teams doing dark arts. Nobody did anything.
So now people are just angry that we're doing it worse than them. Fair enough.
I wish we lived in a world where dark arts weren't a thing, but this is a necessary evil.
When it happens against your team, you're livid. When you do it, it's great.
It is what it is. It's opinions and that's it. Other things will be factors, but whoever says
what he says afterwards, we are not going to graduate his words. We will use the facts.
On what those factors are, if a team was fainting, if a player, if a playing, I think it means if a
player was fainting something, that means I will carry on. He'll be involved in the squad and he'll
play. On whether he wanted to make his squad more streetwise, I think all the managers want a team
that is happy and able to compete in any context that's been thrown out. This is what we want
to achieve as a team. And I don't think anybody can disagree with what the gaffer has said there.
Big up Ethan. This is just a think piece on, yeah, man, on how he's come up. Apparently,
you know, our 2025-26 third kit will bring back similar colours from 07-09. We really had the
third shirt for that long. I mean, fair enough if we're bringing it back. Really fair enough,
really. These Predators look amazing if they're rebranding them, but we're going completely
off-topic, people, in that regard. Carrying on, it's understood that the not-sustained
by Raya is not serious, though the keeper is likely to be rested for Arsenal's Kat
Yarabal third-round match against Bolton on Wednesday. He's expected to be back against
Leicester on Saturday. I mean, these are the one games you want to see, you want to be able
to call on somebody like Aaron Ramsdale. Newcastle have been planning talks with Anthony Gordon over
a new deal. Liverpool as well as Arsenal have been linked with him, people. And also we've
been linked with Isak. Whether that comes to anything is another thing. But on that note,
let me know your thoughts ahead of the Bolton game. Let me know your thoughts on Wurtz and
Vlahovic. Let me know your thoughts still on the Manchester City-Arsenal game and any other talking
points we've covered across this. Don't forget to check out the rest of the content. Like,
