A few days ago I told you about this meeting,
a meeting that I have to say is getting more and more fantastic,
it has more and more magic, and also how this meeting happened,
but I will tell you about it in another moment,
because I would like to focus the attention instead on what I have seen today
and on what we are going to discover.
Thanks to Evelyn Mialdor.
Ok? Ok.
You know my name.
Is this better?
Yes.
Is this better?
Ok.
So, I was saying, I want to make you discover what I have discovered.
Today, seeing this wonderful meeting,
we will talk about the fundamental concept,
how the attacks that are taking place,
on the part of the local community,
and all that is happening.
But let's go one by one,
because we are looking for the possibility,
which was kindly lent to us,
for the translation,
of this fundamental concept,
which, as I said,
not only helps us to identify ourselves,
we are not big,
we are not massive,
we are not people.
I want to tell you that we are people,
especially volunteers,
who have decided to make this place special
and to give it life.
So, everything respects the Byzantine style,
the style of the trace,
of the Bulgarian life.
And it's all done by us,
in short,
by the people of the place.
I can tell you that
here everything is done by hand,
by local people,
all the products are organic,
everyone works the land,
and that's it.
I pass the word to our journalist,
with the questions.
First, before we translate,
Ivelin, what did we say?
Because otherwise,
maybe she thinks we sold it to her,
but it's not like that.
Ok, perfect.
So, after I tell you,
she talks about you,
about how beautiful this place is,
which she saw,
and she gave her word to me.
I said,
why is this place so special?
You produce everything yourself,
a new life is given to this village.
This village,
which was literally left without people,
is being reborn.
And what is so beautiful,
that people voluntarily decide to help
and to contribute,
whoever can,
for something,
to come back to life.
Yes, in general,
we help over 30 villages,
with what we produce,
and we have the potential
to bring back
Bulgarian tourism,
from Bulgaria to Montenegro,
which was killed by COVID-19
and the war in Ukraine,
because the main tourists here were Russians.
Yes.
What I would like to say,
is that we are giving work
to over 30 villages,
which are located around here,
precisely because we want to bring back
tourism,
which was going down
after COVID-19,
and above all,
with the war in Ukraine,
because the majority of our tourists
here in Bulgaria are Russians,
we know that,
so this has created a lot of inconvenience.
Let's go in order,
then we'll get to you.
I would like to understand first,
how your idea was born,
which, if I may use the term,
is a bit crazy,
to start from nothing
to create this immense park.
I would like to understand,
to start from the beginning,
how your idea for this park was born,
because this idea looks a bit crazy,
so many problems,
so many obstacles,
how do you deal with all this?
Well, first of all,
I am a person who grew up
in the two buildings in Bulgaria,
there was a transition here,
we went from socialism to capitalism,
and this was a big shock
for the whole country.
In the beginning,
we all wanted to make more money,
this was the main thing.
We thought that,
when we are already in Europe,
in a new environment,
everything is fine,
everything is fair,
the only thing we have to do
is to make money.
He says that it was born
in a time when Bulgaria was divided,
first there was capitalism,
then socialism,
so he says,
we had this idea
that money was everything,
so we all wanted to get rich,
we all wanted to make money,
this was our idea,
in a sense of freedom,
to create something new,
but then I found out
that this was not the case.
When I was little,
I grew up with my grandparents,
they took care of me,
because my parents were not
Bulgarians.
They loved Bulgaria,
they were teachers,
they taught me history,
they fed me with love
to Bulgaria and to my family.
I grew up with my grandparents,
they taught me the values of Bulgaria,
my parents separated,
so I lived with my grandparents,
my grandfather was a history teacher,
and they were the ones who taught me
the love for Bulgaria,
for its culture, for its art,
for everything that concerns our country.
And in my desire
to make money,
I stopped looking at the state,
I focused on
making money better.
At one point,
when I made enough money,
I saw that the people
around me had no children.
At first I tried to make money,
but I succeeded in this attempt,
but I realized at the same time
that when I made money,
I left my country,
so I no longer had an eye
for my country.
And in all this, I realized
that people no longer had children,
there were no more prospects here in Bulgaria,
so there was some problem
that went beyond the economic point.
And then I read that in Bulgaria
the population disappeared very quickly,
and I asked them why none of them
have children,
so it is possible that Bulgaria
will disappear as a nation,
and it turns out
that the young people
do not know what Bulgaria is like,
they have no love for their country,
and this surprised me a lot.
I came to a point
where I started asking
people around me
why they don't have children,
why this development
is no longer increasing
our population.
And I realized that
not only this was the problem,
but also the young people
do not know our culture,
they are totally disinterested.
And then I decided
to do something.
I thought that Bulgaria is a country
in the European Union,
and I believed that the European Union
has values, in which we have
a fair judicial system,
that people have rights
when they do business,
and I saw that people
do not believe that Bulgarians
can do big business,
they do not believe that Bulgaria
can do something big,
and they did not like the country itself.
And I decided to do a project
to show that we can do big business,
we can make them love the country again,
and to do so
that it will develop
the local economy.
At this point,
I started asking for help.
I realized that Bulgaria,
being a country that is part
of the European Union,
could develop, grow
much more.
The problem was that no one
gave us this help,
and we realized that we were
literally depopulating.
Who did you ask for help?
The European Union,
or in general?
Which country did you ask for help from?
The European Union?
I know that in Bulgaria
there is a very strong mafia,
and in order not to take money from them,
I decided to do it
without the European Union,
without the state,
so that they would not say
that I am taking money from them.
Because in Bulgaria, the state mafia
and the oligarchs are used to
that all the money is theirs,
European and state.
And I decided to do it
with ordinary people,
to unite ordinary people,
to do it without taking
any state,
municipal or European money.
I decided to do all this
with local people,
with people close to me,
precisely because in Bulgaria
the mafia prevails,
so that everything that is
of the European Union
is in a certain sense
also of the mafia itself,
so that the oligarchs
and the mafiosi here
think they have everything in their hands.
And in order not to have
a kind of something
that could be twisted against me in the future,
I decided to invest everything
and do everything with my means
and my money and people close to me
and not ask for help from the European Union.
So, the model
is a very particular model,
what you have chosen.
We would like you to explain it
so that people
could somehow
understand it.
They really like your vision,
they really like the way you work.
Would you like to share the idea
for more people to be like you
and to use your way?
Yes.
I believe that if people
want to be free,
they need to learn
how to live with their money
and to create their own good.
This makes them free
and gives them the opportunity
not to depend only on the rulers,
but to be able at some point
to form their own destiny.
In Bulgaria,
there is a similar moment
when we were under the Ottoman Empire.
We have no education
and the Bulgarians themselves
organize an educational system
as all ordinary people pay
and the Bulgarian children
become one of the most educated
in the world without having a state system.
He says
that his idea was to
inspire me a little
to how our ancestors were
during the Ottoman Empire
which was more than 500 years
under the Ottoman Empire.
During that period,
the Bulgarian children
had no education
and they paid for their education
and were able to become
one of the most educated in the world.
And this is the same model
that I use. I want to do everything
with my strength and the people
who are close to me, but this is possible
only through the intelligence
of the person and his ability
to give the right value to money.
We must be people
independently of the goods we have
and of the free and autonomous
means from the mental point of view.
We have seen,
thank you Tonica
and Elie.
Guys, be patient,
I can do it.
We have seen the park
and we will show it to you
in the next video.
We have made all the recordings
because the park is huge
and all the extraordinary energy
that is breathed inside
this park.
You will also see the majesty
of how everything has been
taken care of
in the smallest details
until you really find yourself
traveling through time.
Then, all around
there is also a part
that is still under construction
with houses that will be
future accommodation
for tourists.
And in this particular moment
we are inside
a restaurant
that has been created
inside a village
that is actually being reborn.
It was a village that was practically dead.
And from here,
thanks to this model
and above all the model
of mutual aid
I will show you later
when you have to translate
mutual aid,
you have the possibility
to create everything
starting from the small buildings
and even without
wasting anything.
They are even being able
to recover the
material bricks
used.
So, no waste, no waste,
but revitalization
of what is
the presence
on the place. They are giving life
to a country that was dead.
Go!
You are giving life to a village
that was practically dead.
Right?
Yes.
The fact is that
you are creating here
something very unique,
in every detail.
And what I like is that
with the help of all the people
that are around you,
you are helping to reborn
a village that is literally
without people.
Yes.
And this amazes them.
They just can't explain
how all this is possible.
A person with what effort
can do all this.
It sounds almost utopian.
And this is a very good feeling
in the park itself
when they were there.
They really like,
as I told you before,
the feeling they had.
Somehow their soul is at peace.
Yes.
I am Orthodox.
I believe in God.
I believe that
God has given
the greatest gift to man
– freedom.
And I believe that
all people should be free.
That is why I am looking
when we are creating the park
and the places
to have one basic thing.
To give people the opportunity
to be free and to express
their creativity.
I am a believer.
I am a Christian.
I believe in God.
And this is my idea.
I like to leave people
with this state of mind,
of peace and meaning
when they come to the park.
I want everyone to be free
to express themselves,
to be able to create
and to give life
to their imagination.
I think you are doing
a great job.
And I think
the institutions should help you
and support you in this.
What I understand
is that not only you are not coming
but they are even attacking you.
You are doing something unique.
You are creating amazing things
from nothing.
Shouldn't the institutions
support you
in this?
Yes, this is
what surprised me.
When I was planning the park
I was planning
the Bulgarian state.
The Bulgarian state has
the Ministry of Culture,
Ministry of Tourism
and Ministry of Education
for which they pay
7.5 billion euros per year
so that the ministries
can do something
to preserve the culture,
to attract tourists
and to educate the children better.
I did this for free.
I didn't take their money.
I did their job.
And I thought that they would
advertise this thing
because they need to show
that they are doing something.
And this is the opposite.
At the beginning, when I created
this project, I was convinced
that I needed a country
by my side.
All the institutions,
the Ministry of Education,
the Ministry of Tourism,
the Ministry of Finance
and all the ministries that could help me.
Instead, none of this was done.
I did everything with my own means.
With the means I had.
Because this was not possible.
No one could help me.
Here, they spend
4.5 billion euros per year
but no one came against me.
In fact, they tried to
beat me up.
Did you ask yourself why?
At the beginning,
I didn't understand it
but later I understood
why these things happen.
In Bulgaria, the mafia
plays with the state.
Initially, I couldn't answer
this question.
But later I understood
why the mafia and the state
in Bulgaria go hand in hand.
The mafia wants to take everything.
It takes
all the key facilities.
It buys all the hotels.
It gives the Black Sea
the right
to manage the beach.
It gives the opportunity
for tour operators
Whatever the business idea is,
everyone has to rely on the mafia.
The worst thing about our country
is that the state
gives a hand to the mafia.
The incentive.
So, everything you see
in Bulgaria,
especially on the Black Sea coast,
it's all around the mafia.
Hotels, hotels.
It's all in their hands.
So, it's really hard to deal with all this.
Everyone depends on the mafia here.
And because I did something,
the big business
in Bulgaria
comes from
privatization.
After communism fell,
everything was state-owned here.
And the mafia
takes the hotels,
the business,
all the buildings.
It takes all the institutions,
the right to build
and do everything.
And so, the mafia
steals from the people
everything that the rich people
and the Bulgarian politicians have.
After communism,
everything was privatized.
And it was privatized by the mafiosi.
All these institutions,
institutions, hotels.
Everything that belonged to the Bulgarian people
was taken from them.
So, they actually stole
everything we had.
She's making a very important statement
and also dangerous.
She's not afraid to say it.
You're saying something very important
but at the same time very dangerous.
Aren't you afraid to say these things?
Well...
Because I'm a person
whom God gave me freedom,
I don't believe that the mafia
can take it away from me.
And because I'm a person
who believes that God gave her freedom,
I don't believe that the mafia can take it away from me.
And because of this reason,
I'm ready to fight
against the mafia,
because they are trying to take away
all the people
who want to do good,
not just me.
And what they did in the beginning
was to send me
the criminals
who are people from the underground.
But later,
when they didn't succeed
because of them,
they started to kill me
through the state and state institutions
and the media.
Initially,
they sent me
the suspects,
the mafiosi, to threaten me.
Later, when they saw that it didn't work,
they started to do it
in a bigger way,
through the institutions of our country.
Now,
in this particular moment,
do you have any impediments from the institutions?
At this moment,
do you stop
your activities as institutions?
Yes.
They have been doing this
since 2019,
when we opened the park.
The state,
the politicians and the mafia
keep all the media in Bulgaria.
And these media
start a negative campaign
since 2019
against us.
They started to do this
since 2019,
with the opening of the park.
Obviously, the mafia
holds all the media,
all the political power,
but also the journalism.
So, they do whatever they want
and they make a kind of negative publicity.
So,
they use all the cards.
We don't know anything.
Yes, we don't know anything.
We know something about this.
And then,
they send me the police,
they send me the services,
they hire agents
to work here,
to give different statements,
to send signals,
to do something wrong.
Or they try to confirm something,
to make a statement,
to compromise us.
But so far,
they haven't been able to do this
for more than 5 years.
They try to put you in jail,
not only by the police,
but also by people
who show themselves as volunteers
to work here.
Actually, they are spies
and they not only give information
about what is happening here,
but they also give false information
to cover up my image.
And when they do this
all the time,
they say, for example,
that we are a sect,
that we are Orthodox.
The most famous thing
that they say about us
is that we are actually a sect.
This is the most popular statement.
Scientology.
Yes, Scientology.
And we are Orthodox.
But we also have Muslims,
we have Buddhists.
We also have Muslims,
we have Buddhists.
We accept people like you.
We definitely don't have Scientology.
But there is definitely no Scientology
here in the sect.
The idea is that we would not
somehow expel them,
but there is none.
But even if there were,
we would not send them,
because here we accept everyone,
but there are none.
Then they say that we are bandits and criminals.
Then they say that we are criminals.
Then they say that somehow
we can expose people,
that we can bribe them.
They also say that we can steal people,
steal their money.
They say that a stone is not a stone,
it is a stereo port.
They say that a stone is not a stone,
but another material.
You saw what in the park.
And there are all kinds of lies
that people are afraid of.
They say that if we go there,
nothing will happen to us.
Lies of some kind that reflect on people,
because they start to be afraid.
They are afraid that something can happen to them.
It is forbidden to work with us
Tour operators are forbidden.
For example,
tour operators from abroad
They say that we want to bring people
to the historical park,
but there is no such object.
They have forbidden all tour operators
to operate with us,
so every time they are called
here from abroad to be able to visit the place,
they answer by saying
that there is no historical park here.
We fought to attract tourists from abroad
and that's why we contacted hotels
that have mineral springs,
mineral waters.
And when they saw that we started
to develop this thing,
the owners of the hotels
that if we don't stop working with them,
we will take the hotels.
They have also threatened
people from hotels abroad
that if there are minerals,
they will contact us.
Our enemies
have threatened
the owners of the hotels
saying that they would take them
literally
if they had the intention
to cooperate with us.
These people call us
at 11.30 p.m.
to ask if we can get rid
of our contacts.
These people called us
at 11.30 p.m.
asking to remove
all their contacts from the official website.
But the biggest problem
came when the managers
of an international company
and gave them a bribe
to build a park here.
It doesn't matter that they didn't do it
touristically, they wanted to destroy it
by putting big wind turbines.
The biggest problem
came when they wanted to plant
wind turbines here.
Even without our consent,
this was the biggest problem
for us.
According to the law,
at the municipal level,
it is forbidden to have such wind turbines
because the municipality has the right to refuse.
According to the law,
the territory can refuse
and everyone has refused.
For example,
the prices of the houses
have risen more than 10 times.
When we are here,
the prices of the houses
have risen more than 10 times.
And all the people got rich.
Everyone who has a house
can live 10 times more expensive than before.
Anyone who has a house here
can sell it at a higher price than 10 times.
There is zero unemployment.
There were a lot of services here.
Everyone was in the city.
There were everything.
There were gyms,
restaurants, massages,
better education for children,
Here people have everything.
It's like being in the city.
They have the weight room,
they have schools,
they have education,
they have restaurants,
they have gyms.
There is nothing missing here.
There is a post office,
schools,
we have also seen
a bus station.
In Italy, we dream of a bus station like this.
There are also public services,
TV, everything is open.
We even wanted to make
bus lines
from here to Varna and back,
but the state did not allow us.
We also wanted to open
bus lines that would take
buses from here to Varna.
But of course,
the village put the poles between the wheels.
For our cost,
and they did not allow us.
And when the wind turbines came,
because we refused
at the municipal level,
all the people
who live in the whole community,
they are 10 villages,
they refused.
Then they said that they would send
inside and someone would die
if we did not agree.
The situation is so serious
that when we refused the proposal
to plant the wind turbines here,
all the 10 villages
that are here in the province
refused the proposal.
But we received a threat
where they told us
that there would be death
for those who create these problems.
And because we are organized here,
people are not afraid of them.
When there is no fear,
the mafia
stops having power,
because there is no one to threaten them.
They have to fight
and something can happen to them.
And this thing
makes the mafia
turn to the state again
and say, help us, we can not do it here.
What is our strength
is perhaps our courage.
Because when a person is afraid,
it is obviously much easier
to hurt. We are not afraid,
we are not doing anything wrong.
We are confident
and when the mafia
sees that we are not afraid,
they go back, because they know
that something could happen to them too.
And at that point, when they fail
in our confrontations,
they ask the state for help again
to put us in trouble
in some other way.
So the real problem
was born with wind turbines?
The real problem, when was it born?
With these wind turbines?
No, it is from the beginning.
The real problem has always existed,
but it has become more serious
with the wind turbines.
Because then
the mafia in the state
is used to
doing whatever it wants
and the people do not support it,
they do not have an opinion.
And they have such structures
in every regional city,
every big city in Bulgaria.
There are also such mafia structures
that deal with drug trafficking,
with smuggling,
with prostitution, with crime,
with murder and everything.
And they are the people who actually
secure the votes for the politicians.
In every big city in Bulgaria
there are institutions and mafiosi,
they are real structures
in which inside there is drug trafficking,
prostitution,
drug trafficking
and all the most illegal things
in this world.
Obviously they manage everything,
they make a lot of money,
at this point they turn to the state
to be able to do whatever they want.
And when they sent them,
and then we drove them out of here,
and then they got scared
because they have not met
such an opponent so far?
Obviously they were surprised
and in a negative way
they were almost scared
when we told them
that they could not do
what they wanted here
because they have never had
the opportunity to confront
people who refused.
And then the whole country
turned against us.
And then the whole country
turned against us.
And we decided that we had to
withdraw the party in the parliament.
And we decided
that the only solution
to save us from this problem
was to establish a political party
within our party.
And we managed to do it.
And from there
it became
a real war of life and death.
And since then it has become
a real war.
And now what do you think
you should do?
Now there will be elections
in Bulgaria.
We started to defeat them
when we started to reveal
the mafia structures
in every part of the country.
We started to stand against them
when we started to show
the people all these mafia institutions
that were in our country.
We started to show in every area
in Bulgaria the people who are still suffering
because many people lost their children
because of drugs, they were killed,
they were expelled abroad.
And these people don't have
anything to live for anymore.
They are ready to fight,
even if the revolution has to rise,
but these people can't
torture the country and the people anymore.
We started to have the support
of people who lost their children
because of drug trafficking,
children who were killed
because of drugs,
because of the mafia.
They are people who have nothing to lose
because they lost their children.
So they are ready to defend themselves
with the sword and to help us
in any way.
And so we prevented the creation
of a government that would
torture the people in the same way.
And so we prevented
the creation of a new party
that could trample
the rights of the people again.
And we challenged new elections.
Now there will be new elections in Bulgaria.
And thanks to this,
there will be new elections in Bulgaria.
They stopped all the banks
from working with us.
Because we build nice houses
and sell them,
there are a lot of people,
because there is zero crime here.
We have a very good education,
a very good business environment
in which people can focus
on development,
to truly develop their human
and divine qualities,
and not to worry about
how to survive in the city.
And a lot of people decided
to move and live here.
A lot of people decided
to come and live here
because the crime rate
is zero here.
We are all safe here.
There is education,
there is a mentality
of equality,
of helping each other.
And this, of course,
is not convenient
for the political
and mafioso institutions.
Let's go to the closing.
I have the last two questions.
I will ask you a political question
and then I will ask you
a more technical one.
This question is about
how the European Union
thinks about maintaining
its own individuality,
its own freedom,
since the European Union
is giving the rights
to all the member states
and Bulgaria is also a part of this.
I have two questions for you.
One is from a political point of view.
How do you deal
with this European Union
that really dictates the rules
and you somehow
struggle to get out of them,
for the future?
How will this continue?
What I see is that the European Union
supports them and they are
in power thanks to the European Union
because the European Union
wants to turn Bulgaria
into a landfill.
They constantly want to build factories
to burn their waste.
There are a lot of illegal landfills here.
Step by step they want to expel people,
to build dams, solar panels,
to store all the waste
that they have here,
even though our territory is beautiful
because we have
very good soils, very good climate,
a lot of water, a lot of mountains,
beautiful nature,
but somehow the European Union
determines this territory
as a landfill.
I notice that the European Union
is trying to destroy our country.
Our country is a beautiful country,
rich in mineral resources,
rich in nature,
rich in landscapes, rich in mountains.
The problem is that these
mafioso institutions seem to be
supported by the European Union
that is trying to destroy us.
It is constantly creating and spreading
these waste-disposal factories
and it wants to turn our country
into a landfill
in the open sky.
This is what worries me the most.
I want to make sure
that the European Union
does not have values
such as freedom
and gives people the opportunity
to develop according to their wishes
which are in favor of the world
and not against it.
I want to make sure
whether they really do not want
to allow this
or there are people
who are not good.
If there are people
who are not good
and there are people
who want the freedom
of the European Union,
together I propose
to unite with them
to win the right
What I fear is that
the European Union
is trying to put us
between the wheels,
but I want to be sure,
I want to understand
whether the European Union
really has this purpose
or there are people
who want to do good
for our country,
people who are willing
to help us.
We are absolutely
available, we are ready,
we are here
and we fight the same struggle,
so we are on the same side
also because the model
that has created the economy
is a model that also in Italy
interests a lot,
also for greater autonomy,
so the possibility of having
greater autonomy
is linked
to the institutions.
We are fully
willing to help you
because what is happening here
in Bulgaria, Malta or Italy
first of all,
so we are very well aware
of what is happening here
and we can help you
and we want to do it.
We will be very grateful
to meet support
and to unite efforts
because if
the mafia takes power
like it did here,
it will become mandatory
and gradually ordinary people
will lose their freedom.
I am very happy about this,
I thank you and it would be nice
if we could all help each other
to cancel these mafia institutions
that unfortunately should expand
in every country more and more.
We thank you
at this point,
we hope to see you soon
I have seen that you have
a lot of projects
and we would like to follow
your projects.
We want to thank you
and we want to promise
to meet again in the future
because you have a lot of projects
that we would like to follow.
Yes, we also thank you a lot,
in 2016 in Italy,
in Cheredi, Bulgaria,
we put a monument
to Hanna Ocek,
he is the brother of the ruler
who founded Bulgaria.
So we have
family ties with Italy,
we maintain
very good relations with them,
we make festivals,
there is even a tree in the park
that was planted by the people
of Cheredi, Bulgaria.
So we are happy
to continue
the relations and to develop them
I am also very happy
and I thank you a lot.
We also have a kind of family
with the Italian people
because in Cheredi, Bulgaria,
we built this beautiful statue
that represents one of our
Bulgarian founders
and we feel really close
to you, to your culture
and we thank you a lot
and we want to tell you
that there is also a tree
planted behind our gardens
by the founders
of Cheredi, Bulgaria,
the ones who helped us.
Thank you, Ivan,
and I hope that at this point
we will be able to hear each other
without traveling,
but also from a distance,
to make an interview from a distance
and give us updates from time to time
on what is happening,
how it proceeds,
also from a political point of view.
Once again, thank you very much
and I will be very happy
if we can hear each other in the future
to make the interview, even online,
where you tell us what is happening
with you, how the relationship
is developing, and so on.
With great pleasure, I will do it.
So, let's thank Evelyn,
let's see what I say, Mihailov,
I am learning the alphabet,
but know it,
now I am slowly getting there.
Thank you, thank you very much.
Thank you, Evelyn, thank you very much.
Thank you, Antonia.
