Hello riders, you've arrived at this page and you've got this topic of motorcycle tours and for anybody that's wondering just exactly what is a motorcycle tour, well in the case of Ride Adventures it's actually a wide variety of services that are provided to make it possible for people to explore different parts of the world you might find otherwise difficult by motorcycles. So again, all based around the idea that these services are done on our rental motorcycles that's the first thing to understand is um you know shipping your own motorcycle and finding your customs brokers and freight agents and international shipping services and dealing with all that you might have to deal with and the risks involved and the costs and everything that go into sending your own motorcycle to South America or Africa or wherever it is it just it can't be nearly as simple as it is just using the motorcycles that we keep new and maintained and regularly inspected in between each customer available for exactly these types of services so again all based on our rentals within that we have what we call self-guided motorcycle tours or fly and ride packages we have guided group tours and we also have private group opportunities as well and each of those are explained here throughout the different videos on our website but you know a lot of this service revolves around the fact that we are experts in each area you see like so we either live there or we have lived in the the areas you're looking at we've ridden all of these countries we've ridden all of these routes in most cases many or multiple times and it's sort of if you look at these itineraries that are proposed on our website it really whittles it down to hey look this is the best that can be done given the time allotment that's there you know obviously some of these longer trips in a specific region are what we would call better than the shorter ones but if you have a certain time allotment rest assured that we have painted out an itinerary that is the best you could do in that number of days so hopefully you can max out whatever vacation time you have and enjoy more because there's a lot we want you to see in each of these countries but again the service that we provide is based around that that you've got local knowledge bikes that are already there locally and a lot of the guesswork is taken out about wondering you know where should I go you could spend a lifetime looking around various motorcycle forums and things like that trying to figure out what is the best thing that you could do for a ride in the Andes mountains or a ride in Africa or whatever it's like we've already got that figured out for you so rest assured you can rely on us for that and then again whether you want an actual self-guided trip where you know you yourself or just yourself and a couple of friends want your own specific dates you want to be left alone and you want to rely on us for the bikes or also a fly and ride package where the hotels are included that's your option if you'd rather be part of a guided group tour maybe you don't speak Spanish and you don't want to show up in South America and have to deal with those things on your own although you can without speaking Spanish get through South America quite well with just English you know that's what we are there for is a guided group tour we'll put a group of individuals from around the world together on a specific departure date and someone like myself as a lead tour guide or you know one of my co-workers or one of our support trucks actually with a driver and a truck will be following in these guided group tours showing everybody the way through these routes and acting as support and backup there if you need it if you need help with translation or currency exchange or flat tire a guided group tour is really a convenient way to travel and that everything's pretty much done for you you just ride and smile and twist the throttle and enjoy you know we also have a style of tour we call kind of a hybrid tour it's self-guided but truck supported we started that a couple years ago and it's been very popular because again some of you have that passion like I do it's fun to be out there on your own and forging your own path or just with a couple of friends but it's also smart in a lot of these remote places like Patagonia or Bolivia or Southern Africa or whatever remote places it's good to have backup and some somebody else in case something goes wrong out there we can be there on a self-guided truck supported tour to make sure that you're not alone in case something goes wrong but you know private groups as well motorcycle tours fall into the category of private groups if you don't want to be part of a publicly available group but you have your own little group of friends or anywhere from just yourself as a private group all the way up to you know 10 or 15 or more riders anything is really possible but this is the service we provide we've been doing it since 2010 with a long list of really great happy customers from around the world and we look forward to you know have a look through rental bikes is limited in each area shown you know you're looking at a peak season a specific time of the year when you can travel now you're competing with the rest of the world to get access to and reservations for these bikes so it's not uncommon for dates to be sold out six to eight months in advance so really if you're sure you want to do a trip get your deposits in we'll get you a formal quote and send you all the details and everything but we need to get deposits in so that only then and only then do we put a formal name and reservation together for your upcoming amazing adventure so
