This was the old Titan. It didn't work out, but it's okay. We're going to repurpose this project
and build a new ecosystem.
We're going to take this centerpiece stone and moving it to a larger tank.
I'm a little sad that this tank didn't work out, but I'm looking forward to what's next.
To bring your tank to life, you need to focus on creating the right ecosystem for your habitants.
You have to ask yourself, how would they interact with your design? These are very
important questions to answer in order for you to design the right tank for your fish.
Do some research because it is important to know the personalities of the fish that you
want to bring home and design accordingly based on how they are. Some fish can be shy,
some of them like to be more active. It's important to know how they behave so you can
create a habitat for their specific behaviors. If I'm bringing home a certain species that I know
are shy and most often like to hide, I do want to create caves and hiding spots for them
to have the most natural environment. For the non-shy species who like to swim around a lot,
such as schoolers, what I want to do is create a lot of negative space so you can enjoy
having these schoolers swim freely and it's actually very entertaining for you to watch.
Okay, so now this is the fun part. We're going to be adding some livestock to the tank.
We got some pygmy corys, green shrimps, mini red raspberries. Everything that I've selected
is considered a nano fish. I want to keep the size of all of the species in this project
to be around two to three centimeters and the reason for this is because you want to create
a sense of scale of a large tank through smaller species of fish. I actually had a lot of fun
filming this. However, this tank is still far from completion. We still have a few more months
before the tank starts to mature, including these fish that will reveal more rich and saturated
colors as we progress. To achieve the ideal ecosystem, I'm going to be adding more livestock
as time progresses to increase that biodiversity in this tank. If you guys have any suggestions
for a nano species that might be rare, something that you don't see often, please let me know.
Leave it in the comment section below. Maybe I'm going to discover something I've never seen before.
You might see it in the next video. Until then, I'll see you in the next one.
I hope you enjoyed this film. Thank you for watching.
