WE GOT A PUPPY!!! 🐾 | BRINGING HOME OUR 8 WEEK OLD GOLDEN RETRIEVER

today's the big day we are if you can't already tell by the title and haven't already seen my instagram post we're getting a puppy i have known about this for what feels like forever honestly i think um well we knew we were getting up happy pretty much end of november beginning of december so we were on board to get a puppy from this litter this particular breeder for um a while before the puppies were actually due we knew that if our gender was provided our little baby boy then we would be able to pick a puppy and bring him home and i am so excited if you can't already tell this was definitely not a spur-of-the-moment decision if you've been a regular watcher for a while you know that i go on about puppies all the time i am a dog lover always wanted a dog and never had a dog and been set on a golden retriever i want to say for at least a year or two and before that we were toying between a golden retriever and a german shepherd love german shepherds as well this is our first puppy together i say first because i'm manifesting too within the next several years maybe we'll see how we get on with one first um so i'm not gonna ramble too much in this injury because let's face it you're here to see the little man himself he is called barney and i actually did a fun little q a question box thing a while back now of puppy names as i was trying to think of like puppy names and i was quite set on barney but i thought i'll ask you guys dog name suggestions and a few of you actually suggested barney so i was like it's set it's set and everything about finding our little pupper just felt right it fell into place there were loads of breeders i contacted but this one just felt right i can talk about more about that in a different video or whatever but anyway i am that crazy dog mom that has already set up an instagram for little barney so if you do want to get updates of his growth his journey i'm not going to spam this channel and my other instagrams too much because i appreciate dogs aren't for everyone animals aren't for everyone i'm obsessed with them but not everyone is so if you do like the pup stuff then um i have a instagram setup for him which is at barney the great golden i will leave it linked below and i have also set up a tick tock so who knows maybe we'll start doing some tick tocks as well so again barney the great golden let's go pick him up i lose my breath whenever i see you you stole my heart what is it that you do my life was great till you added colors like the moon needs to sum we don't care about the others you set my world on fire you're my heart's desire [Music] run free round three look at that i saw a little tail wag what's this yeah get it get it get it [Music] yeah what do you say simba's favorite is my favorite i'm gonna rip apart teddy room because simba's my favorite that's your toy good boy so we had a bit of a cry at the beginning didn't we when we first set off i think he was a bit unsure of the car journey this one's yours as well yeah get it get it oh yeah big strong man what's it like cuddle on me once he's playing with it and then we had one pit stop so it was about an hour and a half journey home and he did go for a wee outside the car apart from that he was fine he's one of ten puppies in his litter oh he's loving simbra and teddy whoa so the breeder actually used to give them these like empty toilet rolls so i've been saving a couple with the thought that he might kind of be a bit more familiar with it but you can just obviously tear it apart and not be too precious about it and i thought that'd be the case i thought you'd like the basket more so than the oh who's that who's in that mirror i thought you would like the basket more than the toys i think this will be us for the foreseeable just a lot of poppy cuddles pop your play time puppy food so whilst tom is just playing with the pup i just thought i'd show you we did get a little puppy pack which is so cute look at this tote bag it's even got his color on it he is yellow little bunny bear and then we have a blanket which every pup got which has been rubbed against um the mother's firm and kind of been left in the pen to smell of the scent so i'm actually going to put this in his crate and then also a toy the little lantern oh my god cuteness so cute so it's going to be his at dinner time now so just kind of unpacking oh careful look he's playing with you wow that was a big growl like any spoiler put this in his crate so this is his food oh and he's right by my feet what else did we get his fat book a couple of little treats oh look poppy dental care someone's just saying do you think we neal we'll need to get him happy dental care awesome salmon with herring you'd like them and then this is the puppy wet food that we mix in with the dry so this is what he will be on four times a day until he grows into a big boy oh and look what she's included his christmas card his first christmas so obviously he was born he was born 22nd of november oh my god so cute is this your dinnertime is this water look look it's here it's here is he yeah now he's found it are you giving them kisses that's your new toy your tenth new toy he's got enough tidy you like climbing on you doing it i think um yeah i think he's probably had a lot of time for kids but the kids have been rolling around with which is a good thing oh you're so cute huh i know where that torments me get him he's like get off me dad i want my mom yeah hey there's a little bit of food left what is it look he's going he's exploring his crate all the toys we've bought you this is his fave i know it would be that's not a toy that's not a toy munchkin we are obviously supervising him but it's this bit that he keeps chewing on no switch it round yeah there you go we say hello barney we love you so much already i feel like he's getting a little bit sleepy he's been having a play around we missed a timing of a poop so we'd have one accident but it's okay because you're just a pupper you're just a papa so welcome to barney this is our little golden retriever eight week old puppy any questions feel free to fire away okay i'm getting sleepy already so yeah we're going to sign off i know this is just a real quick video oh in fact i was going to show you he is a little puppy he's such a cute little puppy i was going to show you something that keels sent over which is so kind of them heels are very kindly sent over some doggy products this one is like kind of a dry shampoo in between grooming we put this on your coat and it's called cuddly coat cleansing spritz that's for you and then they also sent over the cuddly coat grooming rinse which is like a bit of a wash for your dog's coat so i feel like we could maybe give him his first bath tomorrow right we're going to go to the sofa and have a little snooze but thank you for watching so we'll see you soon and if you want to follow what i get up to then you can follow at barney the great golden yay he's like mom i just want to sleep okay let's go snooze you
