[Music] welcome guys today is a super special video because it is a challenge with alex art since when we had this idea of doing a challenge but it was never done until now now there are 6 and I am going to tell you each of us chose three materials, two materials as normal to paint and one extra as a surprise, valentina gave me the goal and when valentina said the goal and I said [Music] well I'll tell you my materials were valentina pen and marker with as copy and watercolor we decided to also put percentages one It was 50, 30 and 20 but this is going to be chosen at random so here she is making my papers to make my manual raffle and the theme she gave me was magical forest so it was a very nice challenge the truth is here I was moving moving moving Let's see which one I was going to play so when I spoke I only put watercolor 1 pen another valentina another and it's time for the revelation in valentina I got 30 percent I think destiny was nice to me because it could have very well been 50 percent valentina and 50 percent was from the marker and 20 was obviously watercolor in an ideal world I would have chosen 50% watercolor 30 marker and 20 valentina to do a challenge so we had to do it as such so we also chose these colors It was blue, black, green, purple and pink and they were also going to be random. That part did scare me the most because what if they don't match by themselves, I think the colors, I don't know, it's like they scared me by themselves and I said how is it? I can combine that with Valentina but well in the end because everything was going to be random and I was very very afraid of how all this was going to turn out so well I was already doing my little papers very calmly I think what I was thinking the most was how I was going to solve the thing about the forest, the magical forest, so well, here at random, I started to choose the pieces of paper and that's how I said, well, I'll never open them, so in this one, which was the watercolor, I got the color pink and I said for a moment, ok. pink and valentina and in the pen at the end it came out black and well I also said either it's black or it was black basically reddish orange and pink so I said well well then whatever it has to be we're going to do this challenge or know how we're going to solve it And well, that's how my percentages were and the things I was going to choose. I started working on the girl's face. When she told me a magical forest, the first thing I imagined was a girl with a forest of brackets. Previously, years ago, I had made a girl with a forest in the head and not long ago I remastered that illustration for a tattoo so I said I think I can already imagine it so these things that they are putting on it are like spirits I always say that they are like spirits of the forest those smoky things that They come out because then they tell me that they are ghosts, so they are not ghosts, they are spirits of the forest, so I began to do as I did, as I looked in this girl's head, and at the same time, I did, like this, what Mother Earth is like, of course, then when I eat some sense in which I was a woman no [Music] a [Music] ah a and [Music] and well as many of you already know what my process is anyway I put them for people who are new since I have my sketch I transfer it to the iPad to clean it is something that I really like to do because since I'm on the iPad I can see what I change or if I leave things on it or if I make it bigger or so, then I do all this to have clean lines as you can see here and Now the only thing I do is transfer it to the watercolor paper with a pencil, usually it erases, I use the prismacolor ones but they erase and in this case it is a mechanical pencil that also comes with a sheet that erases and in a terrizo I really enjoy the I don't know if it's a tedious process but I really enjoy it, from the sketch to cleaning it and then finally transferring it to the watercolor paper and it's very relaxing i and [Music] i [Music] and it's ready for us to put some courage and a little color but I have a problem because she told me that I had to put a comic or there is one she has kopic but everything but I don't have copies black so I'm going to have to look for another color the other color I'm going to have to look for another type of pen so you can do this because this is the one that I more or less think can give you like the tip of the cop and let's see if the good one comes well here I already have the valentina this one touched me at 30% so I'm going to pour it and Let's see what comes out and the pink watercolor is one that I'm going to choose from this palette and it's this one so well let's start [Music] and well as you already know first I started with Valentina La Brass I wanted to start with this one first because the girl Today, and I must tell you that I was very surprised, I was expecting a reddish color, like brick red, and when it came time to put them on, I already knew that I was going to use it on her hair and that they were going to be like the eyes of trees or things. like that, not like that, like I said, well, there's a second dagger and the moment I started to put on the bravery I said wow wow wow so I liked that a lot because I really thought it was going to be a total disaster and in the end it really wasn't like the police. watercolor or not for the very strange but it will be having spent especially because the palentina was not very pigmented until I used a brush like that medium well even if it was not professional because it chooses that it is like that it is very tough and what did happen to me was that it had like little dirt so I started to remove this little dirt that I had because it did feel kind of strange so well I was scraping and in the end it was removed and it looked like watercolor and I put a little bit as another layer to see if it got a little darker and if so a Once I said Valentine's Day is over, I started with the watercolor, which was 20% of it, so I only decided to put it on her like in details of her skin and parts of the flowers and leaves that I had put in, so the fact that I got pink I think it was also luck since I said at least he can give his little badges a slap on his lips. I always make his ear look red so that's how it looks and that's how it was when I only had the valentine and the watercolor what followed was the marker on the 50% and now I think that if my coconut was not the valentine, friends, the down was my coconut because the truth is that the tip did not fit me, it is similar to the copy but it is like and ugly because it had like little hairs and it did not do with a super thin line which was what I was looking for sometimes in some parts and it stressed me out a lot, I think this was what stressed me out the most about the challenge, the damn pen and then I said let's see if the pen was also like a brush finish because those who have an opinion on what they have As a finishing brush I said why it's not a pent because those are like very very very thin but I said good and cheer up then this pen defended itself because more or less I didn't quite settle in I think that was my super coconut so what I decided to do with From the beginning I said, I already have it, I'm going to do like all the lines and originally I didn't have the black box on the back but really if they only did the lines it wouldn't look like 50% of the illustration was going to be black I better make the line and then I make the background a cut-in- square background and I fill it in black because really, yes, no, I really don't feel like it was going to be like 50% black and the rest is like that, so I tried, I really tried. It was like the percentages that we had said so well in the end yes I liked it I felt very very happy I even sent a message to the ideas and I am happy because when advertising I was very stressed like that but if you want I will change it no no this It's a challenge so then obviously, as you know, I'm a dramatic person in this bigger cylinder, I don't know what to do and I don't know what to do in the end, look if I'm very happy with the result and with the contrasts they gave because I really I didn't imagine it, those are the real colors, not especially because I didn't know if the valentine that was going to result, but this was the result.
