Best Snowboard Men Lines of the 2024 Season
Our first category today is going to be snowboard men.
We're going to see the next man in the gate, Holden Samuels, another one out of Bozeman, Montana.
And dropping in from start two. Taking his first air and heading over to find the next one.
A big air through that close out Faschner air.
Now taking this one off the toe side with the backside.
Holden looking strong here, laying out the backflip, perfect landing.
Just looking so smooth through that whole run, that was incredible.
We see back up the beautiful start gate at the top of Kicking Horse, we've got Michael Maughan.
He is so technically proficient in challenging snow conditions and that's something I've
witnessed in person. So I'm so excited to see what he has coming into the top section.
Making quick work of those sharks and a nice three off the top over the bench,
shutting it down, staying in control, popping again.
Another three stomping it.
Michael Maughan showing us what he can do in tough snow.
Next rider in the gate, Timmy Schroeder.
So Timmy Schroeder on course. Also dropping in from start two there.
Taking a bit more speed across here, looking smooth.
Hitting into that feature with just a single turn above.
So not afraid of the speed, going over to this same
rider's left side that we saw Hugo go to and going big off that.
Already on the edge and making his way over into this relatively untapped zone with a 360 above
exposure. Timmy Schroeder white rooming himself.
Timmy Schroeder with a backflip, perfect landing.
That was epic.
Really making a strong claim here in his first ever FWT run.
Liam Rivera from right here in Verbier is on the back.
And the snow is pretty good in here. I think some of the sluff is being cleared out, so
still have to be conscious of that, but he's managing it well.
Taking some air there, catching some speed.
As we pull back, Liam, there's nothing under him but ginormous cliffs.
The Hollywood Cliffs straight off the nose. Liam Rivera stomps it.
Enormous air and just getting that speed under control.
Liam now still not letting go with a backflip, bringing it around to his feet perfectly.
Liam Rivera showing that he is at home in his backyard with an incredible display of freestyle.
Incredible run there from the local rider.
As we head back on up to the top, another very dangerous man on this face, Jonathan Penfield.
This is his home. I cannot wait to see what he brings to the back.
Jonathan with a huge 360 to enter the dogleg. What a move.
Well, Jon Powell now on the heelside and going way over into an area that we haven't seen much
action, airing over that rock section and stomping clean again.
So Jon Powell linking up a huge number of big features on the Bec d'Eros.
And even that small area, look at what he's doing it above.
You cannot overstate another big one from Jon.
For him to cross the line safe and sound, Jonathan Penfield through the gate.
Victor, as always, looking for the inspiration from the mountain.
Bomb dropping off the corners and starting things off with a double.
He is our 360 making his way down through Beauty Turn, finding another 360 and
just sneaking underneath that rock.
Yeah, just redirecting there. Victor De La Rue now coming into this lower bed.
Backside three, another perfect stomp.
Three 360s in and he is now setting up above this exposure.
Victor De La Rue coming into another big feature.
Backside 360 stomps it.
What a beautiful run, finding some air on these wind lips,
enjoying that unbelievable snow.
This man is on fire.
