Top Snowboard Women Lines of the 2024 Season
Welcome back to the Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance with Snowboard Women
and we are heading back up to the top for Estelle Rizzolio.
Lots to play with on this. They're catching some air there, catching the grab and riding
out really strong. She's still got more action below her. Now Estelle with a jump turn. That
tells you how steep it is that you have to toss the board in the air to even get it around and
clean through that section too. As Estelle makes her way now through those goalpost rocks,
there is a feature here. She's going to slash instead. Now coming down over another chunky
rock section. Got some more to play with here. She's lining it up and riding out super strong,
straight lining towards the finish. Head back up to the top for our next rider who's going to be
Anna Martinez. Coming in, dropping goofy on that toe side, working that ridge,
coming into this cliff section and boosting it. Stomping it, staying in control. Great start to
the top of a run. Working the corners of these cliff ends is awesome and stomping it again.
From riders left to right across and stacking the features up. Anna Martinez put more features in
I think than we've seen from anybody else. Another little ollie there. She comes down into
this low powder field. So strong from the young French rider and a really, really good statement
here. Hope that they can just keep it together through the finish arch. Back up to the top,
our next rider, Spanish shredder Nuria Castanbaron. She is starting her campaign with an air that she
went big on. Finding a second air right off the top. Checking up her speed, getting control,
and into the gully. Nice and clean so far for Nuria. And it looks like she got that grab as
well. Little bit of a shifty. Some air into this gully. Doubling it up. Yeah, popping out the
bottom. So Nuria making the most of that terrain as she just plays with the sun shade line. Having
I think a bit of an advantage going toe side across there and pulling back in the same little
exit gully we saw Tiff popping through. Kneel side under the arch and that is Nuria's run
wrapped up and complete. All right, well we are back to the start gate for Rosslyn's Erin
Sauvé as she kicks things off on a title contending run. Dropping in from start one there,
hopefully she's been able to scope some of her takeoffs and landings on that hike up.
Stomping that one and really good board control. Yeah, that was beautiful. The way that she
executed that turn after landing is definitely something that speaks to her technique and how
she can read a face. Now that she's going into the next zone, I think she's gonna
hit another pretty big feature lining that one up perfectly. Going huge there.
Still not done though. Erin lining up another feature underneath this long block cliff. We
saw a lot of play on that one early on in the season from Ski Women and Erin Sauvé clean with
some chunky features in that run. She knew coming into this that with a win and we've got the Yeti
cooler jump there in the finish area. Erin Sauvé finishing with a flourish. Erin Sauvé becomes a
world champion.
