How to Clean Glass Shower Doors LIKE A PRO + Remove Hard Water Stains! (best cleaning hack)

this is the last video that you will need to watch when it comes to cleaning your glass shower doors like a pro and so much more I have some of the best tips and tricks when it comes to the worst of the worst in showers I also have a surprise bonus at the end for you I run a cleaning and organizing business and I have four children so you better believe I've tried almost everything when it comes to cleaning your shower I'm going to show you how to clean your glass shower door so that it Sparkles like new I'm going to show you the best tips and tricks to keeping it clean I'll show you some ways to clean your shower track so that your door can slide more effectively and efficiently how to clean that shower head and remove those mineral deposits also removing mold and mildew and finally a little trick all items I talk about will be linked in the description box below and nothing in this video is sponsored make sure that you get yourself a good pair of cleaning gloves for what we're going to be using here today dryer sheets have you ever thought of cleaning your glass shower door with a dryer sheet with my friend these are super a effective helping remove that dirt grime along with hard water stains the dryer sheet is not too abrasive but it gently lifts whatever is stuck to that door I like to rub in a circular motion I find that it helps lift things more easily the key here is to let this sit for about 15 minutes when you come back I like to go ahead and just spray it down with some water if you have a detachable shower head that is perfect to use as well once you've sprayed it liberally with some water go ahead and wipe it down and you will see that your shower door is looking sparkly let's kick it up a notch shall we get yourself some Scrub Daddy power paste this works amazing not only in your shower but basically anywhere particularly your ovens it also comes nice with this scrub mommy the scrub mommy is a bit abrasive on one side and a little bit softer on the other you could use this power paste on grills mineral deposits grease and here's the key mildew it is non-toxic Eco and pet friendly grab your power paste and again rub in circular motions all around your shower door you can also use this inside of your shower anything that I show you here today you can use inside the shower not just on your shower glass door let that sit again for about 15 minutes or so and you're going to come in rinse it off and wipe it clean a third alternative here for you is using some hydrogen peroxide or vinegar I like to do a 50 50 ratio when it comes to these two household products today I'm going to be going in with the vinegar 50 water and 50 percent vinegar then I like to grab a little Dawn dish soap you can use any sort of dish soap that does some excellent degreasing action and put a little squirt in your water bottle give it a good little Shake here this is great because it also helps get rid of that pink scum that you often see around the perimeter of your shower spray this on your shower door and again rub rub rub rub lifting all of those hard water spots and anything else that has been stuck to that door please look a bonus tip for you what I like to do is grab some plastic wrap and lay it across the glass shower door this helps keep it moist and it makes sure that the product stays in place you can also use this little trick in your microwave or if you have a really dirty Stove Top This is excellent let that sit for about 30 minutes once it's sat then you're going to come back take off the plastic wrap and then rinse and wipe clean now if you've tried all these methods and you're still finding that you have those hard water spots or mineral deposits on your glass shower door grab yourself a magic eraser however I found the Scotch Brite Swift scrub bathroom build up remover which is supposed to work more effectively and work longer and stronger than those magic erasers I know many of you complain that magic erasers do tend to peel apart and rip off which is true so I am loving this Scotch Brite it has a really nice triangled Edge on it so you can get in all those nooks and crannies not only on your shower glass door but within the shower if you're using this Magic Eraser make sure that you avoid using it on any sort of color so for example if you have red coloring to notify you that it is the hot water side or maybe blue to notify you that it is the cool water side just stay away from that because it will etch off the coloring let's take it up another notch shall we this steel wool quad zero professional glass cleaners will utilize this I absolutely love it it is super fine and it works every single time I love using this on my oven glass door as well make sure that you get your steel wool wet before applying again you can also use this on your TAP you can use it on your glass shower door either way it works amazing I did a previous video where I transformed a shower tap and can I just say it was good with all these different tips and tricks your shower door should be looking Brand New by now let's talk about how to keep it clean one thing that I do recommend doing is squeegeing after every shower you can get this done in about 10 seconds time this is going to make sure that the water does not clean cling to that shower door which is what leads to the build up and the haziness that you often experience in your shower this attachment is super cool because if it is Handy for you you are more likely to remember to clean your glass shower door after you are done showering this command hook sticks great it is water resistant and it Blends in pretty well with your shower the next product that I'm really loving is the rainx glass cleaner and water repellent when you use this you want to make sure that you wait one hour before you are showering or applying any sort of moisture or water make sure that you avoid the shower floors I do not want anyone slipping so that's why I'm applying it to a rag or a paper towel here so that I have better control on the application of the Rain-X glass cleaner if you can repel that water even better which means less cleaning for you the second product that I also enjoy is this clean shower my family and I have been using this for years and when I say years I'm talking like 20 plus years this helps prevent soap scum buildup and hard water stains and has a nice mellow smell to it and again you can spray this all over your shower which I highly recommend after each use get any pink scum along the grout lines in your shower basically anywhere how about some mold and mildew this OxiClean with bleach is amazing however make sure that you are not mixing this with any other cleaners particularly anything acidic such as vinegar what's great about this OxiClean and bleach is that it sticks and it clings to the impacted area let that sit for as long as humanly possible I just went in with a cleaning toothbrush here to help lift things a little bit more along with agitating it I want to really make sure that everything was gone once you've removed the mold and mildew that clean shower really comes in handy because it's going to help prevent any future buildup now it's time to clean that shower track you can use this with hydrogen peroxide or vinegar the solution that I previously showed you I'm just going in with my 50 50 ratio of the vinegar and the drop of Dawn dish soap spray that in there and again taking a different cleaning toothbrush you're going to scrub the impacted area to help lift the grease and grime and anything else that's stuck in there let this sit for about 15 minutes or more and then you're going to come back and wipe it clean and your track should slide even better than ever how about your shower head these tend to accumulate a ton of soap scum and mineral deposits and make it so that your shower is not running as effectively as it could just going in again here with my combination spray you can use this as a household cleaner I love using it for so many different things within my house not just for your shower but once you spray that down again taking your plastic wrap we want to seal in our vinegar combination let this sit for about 30 minutes or more depending upon how much buildup you have on that shower head and make sure that you wipe it clean and run your hot water for a bit in your shower you may have seen this little hack with a baggie that you put over your shower head however I prefer this method more you don't have to worry about any vinegar dripping on you and you actually end up using less product less waste so that's great last but not least how about anti-fogging this Rain X anti-fog I am so impressed with this this is great not only for your automobiles but it is great for your home we're going to test this out on the bathroom mirror and see how it works spray a generous amount here I'm just putting it on a paper towel so that I can control the application a bit better make sure everything is rubbed in and then I went ahead and turned on the hot water shut all the doors so that we can see this product in action you can see here it is working very well on the bathroom mirror the section where I sprayed the Rain-X anti-fog well we have no fog my friend that's pretty cool you may have seen this little trick done with shaving cream however after the first or second shower the shaving cream no longer works very well and the application is quite messy I wanted to test this out on the glass shower door so we've cleaned up our shower it is looking amazing using let's see if we can prevent some fog I put a generous amount here on a paper towel put it on the glass shower door and then I turned on that hot water let it run for a few minutes and you can see here it is working amazing so here's the bonus on this one not only is it anti-fog but if water is not clinging and sticking to your glass shower door one
