Put a Dishwasher Tablet in your Shower & WATCH WHAT HAPPENS Next! (Bathroom Cleaning Hacks)

welcome back to energy cleaning today we're going to be trying something else super fun look at this door right here do you see these water spots now i've made a previous video in which i was able to make these go like 98 of the way gone with natural ingredients but you can see they are back look at that oh now you can really see all those spots right there now this is we're gonna be using here today get excited you all get excited i'm excited so these are dishwasher tabs but i might i say these right here you can get 19 of them but this is almost seven bucks at my local grocery store now i do not have a sprayer hose on this particular shower i could install one that may be for a later video but make sure you stay until the end because you may have seen the previous video i like transformed this faucet right here there are some major hard water spots now you can see there are spotting right now but nothing like it was before it was not nearly this shiny so anything that i mentioned this video i will um link those additional videos in the description box below but we're going to try one new thing here that many of you all have recommended for cleaning these hard water spots and then i'm going to show you something else that's tried and true that works on shower doors removing stuff like this now these are not too deep in there so we'll see we'll get to that we like to save the best for less we're going to save the dessert for last although i like to eat the dessert first so since i don't have a sprayer i'm just this is warm hot water i ran my faucet so i could get it nice and warm so that this could work properly hopefully you all i'm gonna be so flippin excited if this works now i've seen this done on glass and i was really impressed now when i wet this it kind of goes away a little bit but what's deceiving i think this is called like a fiberglass don't quote me on that i have to look it up and this is hard this is harder to clean than glass in my opinion and barkeeper's friend does work very well but again it doesn't work that long and it doesn't work as well on this particular material so if you have something like this this will work on this and glass so here we go we got it wet we're going to toss this little red ball we don't need that and we're going to use the blue side right here now i just did a video on dishwasher tabs so i'll link that in the description box as well but this is what we're going to do i'm going to speed you up here as you follow along with me and we'll see if they actually disappear [Music] so oopsy daisy okay we're done with that now i'm gonna go ahead let's show you this it's not totally broken down here if i did it all over i probably would have used that up take my warm water again right here and see if those water spots came off we'll do the uh the s method or the z method put my foot there as a stopper i don't know i'm hopeful but i'm not hopeful i don't know this is really tough stuff to get off and keep it off i'll go one more time here i would never buy these kind of shower doors again these were here and we moved in okay survey says it's still there you guys see it i mean it looks shinier that's for sure it did clean it but look at all these little white spots there right in there see all that that's what's frustrating is all get out and i need something fast and vinegar and baking soda does work but not for long periods of time in my opinion a bar keeper's friend does work initially especially on glass but this this one's hard now i see the theory behind this these are designed to have more potency and then it's a little bit abrasive on this side kind of like a scrub pad so i get the idea why this would be helpful but again this is not the most economic economical to clean your shower this is super convenient if you did want to keep it away from a water source but near your shower like maybe i would put it up here or something like that if i were going to use this as part of my cleaning routine because whenever i clean my showers or baths it's usually when i'm finishing up or getting ready to go in if and i had and if i had a sprayer haul as well we'd be totally in the efficiency market right here okay so this is what i'm gonna do here we're gonna come back to this i have a theory about it we're gonna give it a whirl but let's try out my next idea here dryer sheets you either love them or you hate them i love the smell of them i buy them because my husband really likes them do not i repeat do not wash your microfiber towels in something like this or downing unstoppables because it will streak up your glass and surfaces like none other the fibers in the microfiber absorb this like 100 times so let's see what we got here i didn't wet this i'm just going to try it dry and then we'll try it wet now that and again i think it's the abrasiveness of this dryer sheet it's kind of i mean yeah it's kind of working you guys see right there i think dry might be better let's get another spot so you can see right right here you guys see that okay i am putting um some elbow grease into this like i'm pressing to get it up uh that one's pretty stuck on you can see a little bit right here through the camera still if i move it to a new part of the dryer sheet mean yeah okay it's coming off but i do have to put elbow grease into it um yeah it smells really nice i'll give you that now i wonder because these are more abrasive when they are brand new this is a brand new one than if you had run them through your dryer so i would be curious you know they use dryer sheets like what do you do with those other then throw them away if you could use them on here i will have to try that but if you guys know let us know in the comments box below um so i mean this works i don't know if it works any better than like a green scrubby pad or an sos pad or something like that um all right let me get out what i think is really really helpful steel wool quad zero you can see here one two three four quad zero i've used these in a previous video they work phenomenally this big pack i think was like four bucks if i can find them again on amazon i will link it in the description box below and i've seen people use this dry and wet and i've done both i kind of prefer to use it dry um this does rust so if it does get wet you just want to be aware of that because it will leave a film on your glove i did that to my mom's glove sorry mom i apologize but this works phenomenal as well um let me just get a spot here so that i can show you and then we're gonna do it on the door my doors let's do the handle right here like this works so much easier did you i'm like hardly pressing look it let me see right here okay i'm looking through the camera i can see that one let's do that one really seriously guys these things are like magic like down there i'm just so impressed see this is cleaning for busy people which in reality who isn't busy but i like to find the easiest fastest ways to get things done it's not always the way that professionals would recommend them um although i do do that professional related cleaning but a lot of times it's just my trial and error as well i've never seen a video where a professional cleaner has recommended this um my former director and my former corporate job had told me about these when she had someone come and professionally clean look at how easy this is coming up professionally clean her shower door her glass shower door um and you'd be thinking like steel wool on glass like that's scary now i will say if you get it on here as you can see the um red and the green markings it will rub it off see it's kind of tarnished away so don't put your steel wool on painted like that but look at this you guys ah may zing let's see if we can do it on here okay seal that just give it a whirl i'm gonna put my foot down here as a stopper for the door i got a spot right here by golly who's excited who's getting excited with me you all see that can you see that and this is dry let's get a really seal this right here see if we can get that there's still some soap residue on here so let's do this i can see it coming up already it's because these fibers are so fine and it's really hard to find something like this that will actually get a grip on the water spots guys so impressed so impressed okay let's get this wet a little bit here i'm glad that we tried this i want you to try and let me know what you think um i just think this particular material is the bane of my existence can you see the difference there let me find a spot there to there i totally can see it i wonder if we could do some more i mean i can do this whole door um let's just let me dry this because a lot of times what happens is it looks nice when it's wet but then when it dries you'll get those water spots back and the soap scum you should dry it like that okay yeah it is much better right here you can see the difference in the light and even up in here and just this little spot that we did right here there's still a film um so and i could do this entire door now it would take me some time with the steel wool pad but if you really want to get something cleaned up and get that hard water off this has been like tried and true for anything that i've done or these steel wool pads give these a shot let me
