Today I'm in Whistler Bike Park taking on an epic challenge I've never done before.
I'm going to attempt to ride all the jump lines starting from the smallest
right through to the biggest pro lines without stopping.
Will I be able to master every single jump this iconic bike park has to offer?
Watch and find out.
Right, first one is crank it up.
It's pretty basic but like super fun.
Good warm-up track.
As we go further down.
And the jump lines in this video will get progressively bigger and harder
until we reach some of the biggest jumps in the bike park towards the end.
It rained last night, it's not rained for like a month here.
So everyone's been waiting for the rain.
Yo.
Some little war rides.
Not too sure how much I trust the wood in the wet.
Yo.
Jump to manual, that's cool.
It's really cool to practice your jump skill this one.
Because there's just so many jumps.
You can see why people progress so fast living here.
Like 30-40 jumps on a track and you're doing so many laps in a day.
You can't not progress.
Yo.
Do some footsteeds.
All right, a little bit of traffic now.
Drop a comment below if you've ever been to Whistler.
Pretty cool bike park.
Look at these corners.
How big are those holes?
Cheers.
Like wheel size.
So there's a few more corners.
Now let me go and see some cool jumps again.
Oh my god, like wheel size.
I actually have flat pedals on as well which is a bit different for me.
But kind of cool.
Especially on jumps and more freeride stuff.
Okay, doing some work on that.
So we'll go this way.
Oh the dirt's amazing.
Miles too far.
I've been practicing my manuals.
So like jumping and landing in the manual.
It's like a perfect trail for it.
Okay, doing a bit of traffic now.
Let's see if we can get past these people.
Hope these people will stop.
So we're going to go into some pretty cool jumps in a second.
Some of my favorite in the bike park actually.
Like progressively bigger but still super fun to get Steezy on, do some tricks.
Let's see if we can get past these people.
Are we going to stop?
Yeah.
So now we're going to Seymour which is another dope track.
Bit bigger tabletops.
No.
Oh, nearly missed my saddle.
So fun, really good trail to warm up on for bigger jumps.
Which you'll see in this bit.
Huge turns.
Oh look at this.
They've rebuilt it.
Oh man, that's dope.
We just had a big bike event here called Crankworx.
And all the trails have been a bit hammered.
Thank you.
That was sick.
Hello everyone, I'm Daniel and welcome to A-Line.
You've probably never heard of this track.
It's a new track here in Whistler.
Quite good, we're going to hit it off.
Okay, so next progression from Crank it Up is probably A-Line.
Oh, so good.
Dan's on a new bike.
Jumps are a little bit bigger on this one.
But still, so cool.
Let's do some slow lap.
Slow and high.
Oh, yeah, a big no-hander.
Dope.
Jump, jump.
Big air time.
Oh, I can hear everyone laughing behind me.
Haha.
Don't go too fast.
Yo!
Yes!
It's all been redone.
Dope.
Okay, got some more jumps to come up now.
Big bird.
Oh!
Oh, no.
Not my best performance.
Oh, man.
A-Line is one of the best tracks in the world.
Whee!
Oh, god.
We're in a bit of traffic.
A bit rough on that bike.
A bit hard on that bike.
Intense.
Oh, my god.
It's like just going backwards from the DH to trail bike, so bizarre.
Yeah.
All right, so we're up for the next one now.
Freight train.
Super misty.
Right, freight train it is.
So this is like the next progression, I would say, from A-Line.
Whoa, so misty.
Okay, I can't even see what's coming.
It's so misty.
Oh, no.
Oh, damn it.
Damn.
Oh, well.
Visibility is very low.
Yes.
Oh, yes.
Free ride.
This is treacherous.
Whoa.
I can barely see where I'm going.
Oh, my god.
Where is the track?
It's not slippy.
Oh, god.
I had the fear on that.
Oh, I hate wood so much.
So we have to ride this now to get to the next jump track.
Oh, my god.
I hate wood.
Oh, my god.
People everywhere.
What is this?
Oh, my days.
Yeah.
I didn't see that berm coming.
That was a nice little gap.
Oh, my god.
It's slippy.
So bumpy.
Yes.
Whoa.
Oh, god.
All right.
Okay, I'll commentate on your bottle.
So we're hitting Dirt Merchant now.
Next trail in the vid.
A little bit bigger than Freight Train.
Oh, they've done some work on this.
What a trail.
Bigger, more floaty jumps, I would say.
It's quite an iconic one.
Whoa.
Why was there a bike right there?
Cross the bridge jump.
Nice hip jump.
I'm trying to get a bit more air on that now.
That's better.
Whoa.
Wild.
Iconic step up.
Actually quite tiring.
Oh, beautiful.
Oh, yo, Dan.
All right, may as well.
Do a bit of A-Line again.
There we go.
Drop jump.
Yo.
Oh, butter.
Oh, this is what A-Line is about.
Smooth dirt.
Oh, try to drag my foot off a bit.
It has to be the most fun bit of A-Line.
This jump coming now.
Big scrub.
Tip it over.
That is rough.
Such big holes everywhere.
What a trail.
Incredible hits.
So this is probably the biggest jump line at Whistler.
And I think they've just redone them all.
So I'm just going to go and have a look at them first.
And see.
This is all fine.
This looks sweet.
Yeah, see what the dirt looks like.
Because I pedaled a little bit last time, but not much.
If there's no wind, just talk.
I think the only thing to think about with these is the wind.
The wind keeps coming and going.
So just a bit of luck involved.
Because you don't want to take off a jump in the wind.
Oh, something else is coming.
I'm not going to follow Al, but I'll be going at the pace that Al's going.
I'm not going to go any slower.
I'm going to go at his pace.
Because Al is the boss.
Man.
Don't want that.
We'll see.
Let's do it.
Oh, I won't leave you hanging.
Come on, Wolfie.
Big sends.
We love big air, Dave.
Yeah.
Hi, guys.
Welcome to big air, Dave.
That movement I think is very, very hard.
Okay, I'll do it again.
That was comfortable.
I'll go again.
If it's a similar...
Wait for this dude.
I guess the second last one has a whoop before it.
So that probably has more of a GF.
Ready?
All right, second run through.
Let's see if we can get a bit more comfortable on them.
Oh, jeez.
Oh, my God.
I just took off.
I was like, oh, we are jerks.
How good's it feeling?
Oh, man, it's the best.
As soon as I took off, I was like, oh, we're going up.
This is sick.
My brain said so many things on the way in.
It was like, no, don't do it.
What are you doing?
And then just ignore it.
Hold on.
Alex, what the ****?
You good?
Dan is up here again.
I think he's a bit nervous for the last one.
Do you want to follow or not?
Yeah.
Maybe if you...
Have you seen someone go off in front of you?
Follow me this time and just watch and see.
You don't have to peddle in between, do you?
No.
I did one run, but you don't need to.
There's a bit.
How are you?
Good, all right, yeah.
I heard, actually...
Yeah.
You don't want those tires squirming?
No.
Okay.
Have you done it yet?
Well, if I don't do the last one, don't kill me.
I haven't done the last one, but I may just do it now.
Okay.
See you in the air.
Do you have to peddle into it?
No.
Damn.
Yes.
Feels good to do it.
I was really scared.
Now I'm not.
A lot of whirlwind.
Nice.
Yo.
That was sick.
Hey, Alex, that was really good.
I'm going to follow you tonight because I love you now.
Yeah, come on.
Nice.
you
