Cottage Christmas Kitchen Decor Haul (HomeGoods)! 2024

hi guys it's Becca and welcome back or welcome to the carriage house if you're new here today I'm doing a Christmas kitchen um kitchen haul video from HomeGoods so the other day I went to HomeGoods and right when it opened up and it was really quiet Christmas music was playing and it was just really really nice so I did save up my money this year to get a few things for for the kitchen um and I you know I know HomeGoods can be kind of expensive especially lately but a lot of stuff that I found wasn't too too bad okay so the first thing I have again this is for the kitchen um this is for my kitchen island so I have this tree this little Evergreen bow tree and it's got a pretty bow on here um these were these get expensive I know yeah this was $20 not too too bad but the another artificial plants and they can get really expensive um but I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to uh put this so I have this really pretty Christmas tree um it's like a basket weaved basket with pretty um like wooden balls on there you can see that so I think what I'm going to do um I don't know yet we'll see the decorating oh the kitchen decorating video comes out this Friday so um so I think I'm going to just put have this and then have this in on the uh kitchen in the center and maybe add something to it I don't know I I like to keep things simple but uh but we'll see so this was $15 it's not too too bad as the next thing I got for the kitchen is this iced pine this smells so good oh it smells just Heavenly um but it's just moisturizer just hand wash for the the kitchen and this was this is only $55.99 and it's pretty um you know durable and the the glass is really nice and it's just really pretty and it smells good it's made in England so it's kind of different that's good okay next I saw this 12 $12.99 with this little Lantern I think I know where I'm going to put everything but you know how it you get when you start get start decorating and it takes forever so you can't just get it quite right to where and you start moving one thing it takes forever so but I think I know where I'm going to put this but we'll see but just a pretty little candle lantern here and it's got battery I need to put a battery in here um but I thought that was really pretty and oh this is one of my favorites I've got this little it's definitely not I might consider it a Charco board we'll see definitely don't want to put this in like the dishwasher or even underwater or anything like that but it could be just a little simple plate just for um putting like little cheese and meats and stuff like that on or I could just PE you know put like a little glass candle on or I don't know if I would do that either we'll see but I was just really drawn to this I thought it was really pretty um so there's that and then I'm really liking the Martha Stewart um stuff I've been seeing there and this is just a plain just it's really simple playing white but I love this little church and it's [Music] got I think this one yeah it's just a little lit up Church it looks like those um you know those little uh Little Town the ceramic little town that you build and has a train around looks like that kind of stuff is coming back I don't know if I saw a lot of it at Walmart I saw you know seen a lot of these little things um but I don't know we we'll see it's kind of a vintage thing that's that uh is a a good Pastime but just real simple just a simple white little church okay and by the way a lot of this Decor would be great for just winter time just just simply winter um but okay so I did buy I needed measuring cups now this isn't winter or Christmas related but they're cute little puppy dogs they're um a measuring cup set and I was hoping they'd have cats but they have the dogs all of dogs anyways I did have really sweet dog Pharaoh he was a Chihuahua he was my he was my best friend throughout college and he went everywhere with me I took him everywhere when I was a travel um I did go overseas to go to school I wasn't able to bring them then but my my sweet mom and stepdad um they they watched him for me for a long for a long time um but anyways little puppy these so really cute and these were only $9.99 these were only $10 so really cute and then oh and then I got did get something from Goodwill I went I love go I love shopping secondhand stores and this one is a great way to recycle and you can find some really cute things there too and but this little guy he's my favorite is a little reindeer um so I don't know if I'll put in the kitchen though but I thought maybe um if I if I do put it in the kitchen then I could put like little teas and coffees in here maybe or put like a little like marshmallows or hot something like that I don't know we'll see just um we'll see we'll see what happens I thought he's so cute it's it's wooden and I don't know just look like someone took a lot of time making this it seems like it or looks handmade to me um there's that so now moving on to candles um you can't go Christmas shopping and not buy a candle or to right so okay so this one is from DW home candy cane it's very big it $20 for this not too too bad because this is a really big candle and I can imagine you know the the hours that it's able to go as far as the burn time um but it smells it smells so good I'm sure when this is lit it's just going to smell Divine and Heavenly so very big candy cane um candles which I did see a lot of new stuff this year uh HomeGoods as far as compared to last year just some really different type of style candles and everything so definitely go if you can um let's see I've got these same DW uh candles they're a gift box they're in a gift box but I thought well I could use these around the kitchen there's Christmas morning I love these the names of these candles and wallpaper or no paint wall paint I love the the names of um like that would be a really cool career is to name some of these candles or um paint color wall paint color uh anyways it's marketing I know but it gets me so um Christmas tree sugar cookie peppermint bark so I'll definitely be using the these in the kitchen okay I think they actually oh oh yeah and I did get these I'm not sure if I'll light these I'll probably light these I'll decorate with them I'll probably light them on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day um but I plan to put like maybe some Greenery around it and uh so we'll see okay so yeah those are all the candles and then um oh I thought this was so cute it's a reindeer but it's a felt coaster set so you can I don't know how to take oh okay you take them all from here the back end but they're just like a little coaster perfect for tea or a little coffee mug or something like that but it looks nice just on its own it looks so cute um just as a little piece of Decor in your kitchen or um so I thought that was really really cute $10 not too bad okay okay next I got this pretty white Christmas tree it's just a I thought it could goes nice with this I might sort of pair these up um we'll see and then oh I saw a lot of Martha Stewart stuff at HomeGoods I really liked her style it's just the the pretty white um this is ceramic too it's just a pretty little church so um $6.99 that's that's not bad at all so again but I did see a lot of expensive stuff like rugs are really really expensive the cheapest one I saw and they're just smaller rugs for you know they're not like these huge rugs or anything but I think the cheapest one I saw was like $4 and it was just for a small little white you know those white kind of uh poofy type of pey not puppy but you know what I mean just those really soft white rugs that you can as accent rug and the it's $40 so I I'm going wait on that one so I thought those were pretty and you guys know I love to decorate or for the ones that are have been here for a long time if you're new here then welcome but if you are new here welcome we do so many things on this channel as far as seasonal uh seasonal type of videos go we do slow living videos cooking videos lots of decorating videos so definitely stick around if you're interested in and all that um but you guys know for those who have been here for a long time I love to decorate with tea towels um and so I do have some of my older ones from last year but I just want to change things up this year just start a little fresh you know new and um start something start of something new basically but uh they're not these aren't really I mean they don't scream Christmas or winter but for some reason I just thought they'd be I might be able to use them like as an overlay and another [Music] set now these are pretty I think I just like the scalloped well these aren't scalloped these are scalloped on the sides but this would be really pretty in a little decorative bowl with maybe um just you know something in the center we'll see you'll see on Friday um but I just like these I thought they were really pretty and I love the little designs on them so lots of tea towels I got this and then I've got these tea towels or napkins these are actually napkins um instead of four they're just really pretty red and I think they have Merry Christmas on there so we'll see and then I did get some actually kitchen towels for like you know dish towels um there's one that's says Merry Christmas on the front and the back you just have like that pretty red so it looks like what I'm going to be doing is just classic red and white and with some green for a pretty Greenery around I just always love the classic color of Christmas I love the green and the white and gold I'm really loving gold this year just uh I don't know I don't have anything new with gold in it but I do think I have some of older Decor that I may bring out that's really pretty okay and then I got um this two pack dish dry mats $7.99 for two of them that's not too bad at all and actually I went to Walmart and got a lot of stuff and their stuff is almost really really cute stuff by the way um but their stuff was almost just as expensive as some of the stuff at HomeGoods was I know not all of it a lot of Walmart is definitely cheaper but some of it was about like something similar the same price so I got this these dish drying mats and then I saw these I thought I might use these as I don't use as currently I'm not using these as part of my dining room table or anything like that I might do that on the next video we'll see like a dining room Christmas decorating video but I was thinking about using this in my kitchen and maybe put a pretty Bowl on here and then a tea tow in the middle and just you know layers of layers of just beautiful Reds and whites and greens okay so there's that and then oh my gosh I saw here's the gold I got some gold decor here but these are um loose tea um little stir infusers so you put the there stirs but you can put your tea in here and you you know let it Steep and you can stir but I thought these were adorable they're so pretty there's the uh they're stars and there's two of them so I couldn't I saw these and I couldn't pass that um pass that this cuz we love our little tea time here okay and then I got two more things at HomeGoods and then I am going to show you a couple things that I got at Walmart um and oh by the way my last my decorating video from uh last week I decorated my my living room or family room and all of that stuff was from Walmart so I I very well-made stuff this year um I just really have nothing but good things to say about their decor and you know a lot some of it is kind of expensive but some of it was a lot cheaper than other places so okay so we got this cute hot cocoa and warm hugs little Decor maybe for the little hot cocoa area that I'm going to be doing and then I've got these four pieces like I said I did need some new measuring cups and bowls and spoons I just saw these wooden ones um I thought were very simple and classic and would be pretty in a little in the in the kitchen okay so I have two big topiary trees in my kitchen and I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to decorate I have these little beads here these white beads my cat I'm not sure if you can see um so and I do have these on my one of my trees already it looks really pretty so I think this is going to be nice so this one's at Walmart but and then I've got this H India ribbon I thought was really pretty kind of like a jakar type of uh print of some kind I was thinking about putting that on these I thinking about putting this on the tree as well but we'll see I'm not sure I don't want to make it too crazy um but we'll see very pretty ribbon though they have some really pretty pretty uh pretty ribbon Walmart does this year okay and so now I got these little houses they're ornament but I I love little miniature little things um so I think I might just decorate these in the kitchen and put them somewhere in the kitchen I don't think I'm going to use them as ornaments but we'll see again and tree skirts for my little topiary trees in the kitchen so little um little small tree skirts for the the little miniature you know small trees and I got two of those and then last thing I did I had to get this I wasn't going to get it cuz it was $40 but I did end up getting a new Dutch oven I need one really bad um all my other ones are great but I think this one I'm going to be using more for um just when I film so my kids and my husband when I'm cooking like regular day today dinners and stuff I'll use my older stuff and then I may just um use this exclusively for the Carriage House filming so but we'll see we'll see but it's really pretty it's the Pioneer Woman um it's enameled cast iron Dutch oven and it was only $39.99 um so I'm looking forward to putting this in the kitchen and I think that is it oh and one more thing I do have a beautiful Teddy vake hand bag that would be perfect for Christmas they have these pretty dark U mustard bags 100% leather um which will last a really long time if not a whole lifetime um but they've got a pretty burgundy color they've got a dark green color they got these beautiful um winter type of uh colors and I just love this mustard color but it's um from Teddy Blake and then I do have a coupon code I believe I will leave everything down in the description box below but I love this go speaking of gold I love this gold chain so it just kind of you know you can wear this like a a uh kind of like a boho bag so you can put a lot of stuff in here if you like it does have a um it does have a zipper pocket here just fairly big and just to piig out just a nice purse you know just really really nice and I'm loving it but I love it um
