During a recent Montgomery County Council meeting, Board of Education candidate Breda Diaz had her mic muted when she dared to challenge radical council member Mink for her unsupported, incorrect and inflammatory comments regarding the non-partisan Board of Elections race.
Is this what Montgomery County has become? Should the County Council silence free speech? What are your thoughts.
I want to end by saying that if we are
truly invested in the mental health of
our children and of our County Citizens
that it is time to end the divisive and
hateful rhetoric endorsed by County
leadership such as council member
Kristen mink in her recent post anex
labeling a once Democrat recently turned
independent candidate for the Board of
Education such as myself a farri
extremist in what is supposed to be a
nonpartisan race without providing any
evidence from my platform or my policy
proposals expose the toxic nature of our
Cy's politics we are to serve as role
models for our children and for our
community her tip fortat exchange with
students I'm sorry to interrupt but the
intention of this is to be a where she
cited support from my candidacy from the
Republican party as proof of my
far-right agenda shows that council
member mink is unable to reach across
the aisle to build coalitions for the
sake of improving education it also
showed an inability to discern how to
properly engage with our children
unfortunately her actions are not as
surprising as she also called Muslim
parents and students white supremacists
for standing up for their religious
freedom as it is enshrined in our
constitution let us move
for out of for our
