Big surprise for my wife. Behind the scenes look of how it went.

okay so it is november 27th 2021 and we're gonna go do a thing i'm gonna bring you guys with me by the time you're watching this it'll make sense let's go okay so today we are at El Cajon Harley-Davidson where we are gonna pick up the wife her own motorcycle and we're gonna have a little secret squirrel mission uh if i haven't told you already if you guys enjoy any part of this production go ahead and hit the like button down below help spread the channel and i'd appreciate it all right so you might remember lindsey recently got her motorcycle license i wanted to do something extra special for her she's been so supportive and around me and motorcycles for so you know what let me go ahead and give you a little bit of history yeah let's do this you see years and years ago years and years ago well 20 years ago this place right here used to be called Sinbad's this is where my motorcycle and filming career pretty much started here at Sinbad's and this is where lindsey and i met no joke on friday and saturday nights we would fill this street uh here in pacific beach with motorcycles up to and i would say even over 100 motorcycles at a time they were sport bikes i was young i was a little bit more nimble but that's this is pretty much where lindsey and i met 20 years ago this past september she's always known me to have a motorcycle uh she's been a passenger on a motorcycle and you know i just wanted to kind of share that with you because uh you know i never really wanted to force the issue of her getting her own license i wanted that come naturally and right now that's exactly what happened she just got her license so she always was so supportive and when i started my film career and motorcycle riding here uh she was there was never a question on the support level and even in my first editing project where we let me show you you see do you see that place right up there at that time that was my apartment i had two roommates and that was pretty much where i started my videography career uh was right up there actually my bedroom kind of weird bedroom windows right there those were like high high in the uh in the room but there was one on the side it's fine but this is exactly where my video editing career started during that time lindsey would come over she'd be visiting with me and as i'm sitting there in the room trying to edit my first ever production which i was very very proud of this was circa 2002 pre-youtube and this video ended up selling all over the world but lindsey would come and visit just to spend time with me but i'd be stuck behind a computer and that's a story for another time you know anything about premiere pro she would always remind me to save my work because back then it would crash all the time i just wanted to give you that backstory let's let's get back to the dealership okay so a big dream of mine has always been that i actually on a christmas morning or on a birthday i was gifted a vehicle it never happened but it was always a dream so i wanted to deliver that dream to lindsey and the way that we're going to do that is we're going to go shopping for a harley davidson for her here at alcohol harley davidson where this all started for me we're going to go see my boy ricky over here if you guys are in san diego area check out alcohol harley davidson ask for ricky he'll take care of you uh he's the i got that 2020 road glide special and i'm hoping he can help us out with a bike for lindsey that will be perfect so uh that's what we're doing today and i'm going to bring you guys with me throughout the entire process all the way to christmas morning where i have a plan on how i'm going to present this to her so let's go this is almost the exact same model that she did her safety riding course in and let's go over right now because this originally is what i was thinking maybe we just pick that up for her so she gets really comfortable but let's take a look at it now one of the complaints that she had when she was riding this bike was that the gas tank was so overly wide and i can see what she was saying but this is the 500 you know not bad you know there's not a whole lot going on i kind of would like something with a smaller gas tank for you know something along the lines of this let's speak to the sales staff and see what we can come up with that right there is lindsey's new bike all right so secret squirrel mission you know we talked about that i need to find a place to hide this thing i've got my bike here the wife currently thinks that i'm out running errands and getting any freezer i i forgot which excuse i told her but uh yeah so we need to go get this hidden somewhere i gotta make some phone calls and we'll see what we can do okay so in order to pull off such a thing and now that we have the bike we have to find a way to hide it until christmas morning haven't figured that part out on how we're going to present it christmas morning but you got to call on some friends and i called on my boy mr clint august who is going to help us out right now we are at coffee corner in santee in this secret squirrel mission and the wife when she sees it she'll understand uh everything that went into this red squirrel to blue fox that's what we are red squirrel and blue fox mr august has volunteered actually i i asked and he said absolutely uh to stow the bike in his garage so that we can just keep it out of sight out of mind so we're gonna go do that right now stay tuned there's more okay so we pretty much are done with this setup and i just want to explain this real quick because the wife is currently gone her vehicle is going to be parked right here and the plan right now is my buddy clint as you guys know from motorcycle monkey he's going to bring over the bike tomorrow morning and he's going to set it up right in here lindsey's car will be here the bike will be pushed up here here is the plan what i'm going to do is find a reason a dramatic reason on why she needs to come outside and i have a feeling i'm going to have my neighbor give me a call and say that maybe my vehicle got broken into she will naturally come outside the bike will be here it'll be a big surprise it's christmas eve tomorrow is christmas day um i'm excited to show this to you i will see you tomorrow it is christmas morning 2021 my buddy ryan from full throttle hog got this beautiful bike for his wife i am gonna ride it over and try not to ruin the surprise a little rainy but that never hurt anybody right my buddy mike right here merry christmas my friend he's gonna help my son dylan's back there all right mike we're gonna push this let me put the kickstand up and get these things up pushing this thing for a few houses man we don't want his wife to to be in on it this thing is loud it is like dude this thing you heard it it's throaty so sad this is a workout for me all right get this thing down can you hold it oh my goodness merry christmas oh my gosh there it is and brush my hair but make up oh my gosh right now we are taking the wife for her first ride uh just dropped her off right here in the parking lot she's getting suited up i'm gonna go back and grab my bike and then we're gonna do some practicing but so far the surprise has gone very well look at her go okay so i uh brought the bike to a parking lot so lindsey got tested i went home and got my bike and thinking that she's gonna be back just starting it up getting used to it i pull into the parking lot and she's already doing laps but so awesome she's making her rounds in the parking lot uh again just a special thank you to clint august from motorcycle monkey for helping making this happen alcohol and harley davidson and uh you guys for watching this uh this little surprise so so we'll go ahead and close out this video a little b-roll of the wife doing some riding and until next time you guys ride safe be safe we'll catch you on the next one we're passing up to the stars tonight
