Wood carving: Tips and Tools

This is Maximilian Neukaufler. I'm the one-man army behind Woodsman's Finest.
I'm a traditional craftsman originally from Austria.
I spent the last 10 to 15 years actually traveling the world,
learning as much as I can about traditional crafts.
Maybe carving, maybe leather craft.
I'm very fascinated by the tools and knives and how to make them and how to use them.
And that led me to a lot of very interesting places.
Wilderness tripping all the way to Japan as well.
This is a really cool connection I have with Dylan of course.
And yeah, I just had the huge pleasure having him for a couple days.
We explored Upper Austria here, the Alps a little bit.
And we got crafting and nerding out about photography and
carving and wood and differences between what we're doing.
And yeah, I hope he had a good time and I hope you guys having a good time
seeing some of the footage that we got to take.
Cheers.
Beautiful stuff.
A middle line roughly through where I want to go.
Pretty advanced spoon blank just after the axe.
