Elizabeth Olsen and Robert Pattinson speech

They didn't tell us that was going to happen before we agreed to this. Okay, uh did John and and congratulations Ingrid Goes West. I wasn't there. They're not there now. Cool, so awesome. The uh John Cassavetes, actually that's not how it starts. John Cassavetes was a great filmmaker and actor who had the guts and vision to go indie back before independent movies had their own award show. Starting more than half a century ago, John, his greatest collaborator Jenna Rowlands and a talented company of friends, blazed the trail setting the stage for many of today's low-budget triumphs. And in honor of that daring achievement each year at the Spirits, the John Cassavetes Award goes to the creative team of a film budgeted at less than five hundred thousand dollars. Here are this year's nominees who did so much with so little. And the John Cassavetes Award goes to Life and Nothing More. Do I need to read all of these?
